Five stars is not enough to rate Powers Electric. Called this morning at 10:00 am spoke with Bill about an issue with a GFCI outlet that was causing several outlets and lights to be out of service. He arrived within 2 hours as promised and resolved the issue completely. Bill is extremely professional, personable and gets the job done right. I would not hesitate to recommend Powers Electric to anyone who needs an electrical issue resolved. They will be our go to service provider for all things electric going forward.

My electricity went out yesterday. I was having problems w/my generator so was pretty sure it had to do w/that. I called Powers Electric and spoke w/Bill. He was out w/in 30 minutes. He checked the circuit box and said everything seemed to be ok. He thought it might have to do w/the generator. I have power now but am still getting the generator checked out. I am so grateful that I got to meet Bill and will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician. He is on my speed dial now. Thank you Bill!

I called Powers Electric at noon on a Saturday and he arrived at my house by 3pm that day. I was amazed that he not only worked on Saturday but arrived so fast.After a quick diagnosis ,it was discovered that I had a bad GFI outlet which was fixed in about an hour.Fast, friendly, and reasonable price. I would highly recommend Powers Electric.

I called Powers Electric on a Sunday without power in my house. Bill dispatched Chris, who was at the house in less than two hours despite being in the middle of another project an hour away. Chris showed up, diagnosed my problems in a few minutes, then set about obtaining the parts I needed and installing them. Bill and Chris were both shining examples of professionalism, friendliness, and competence, solving my issue quickly and at a fair price. Id definitely hire this team again Im the future.

Chris was on time, professional and very pleasant. He was able to fix what turned out to be a more complicated than usual issue. I’ll definitely call on Powers Electric again.

Chris notified me of his timing and arrived on time. He diagnosed the problem, which was not a simple circuit breaker repair. He did great detective work and ultimately fixed the problem in a timely manner. All together a great repair job and we had electricity back on the same day we called for service.

Bill was awesome, we called him on a Saturday and he was able to come and access what we had going on within a few hours of calling. We followed up with him the following week and even tho he was pretty busy he was able to come out and complete the work we needed done. Very professional and over all a really cool guy. He was able to simplify our problems and with his experience and knowledge suggest great alternative ideas that we ended up deciding to do. I am a diy kinda of guy but if I ever have any electrical work I dont feel comfortable with I will definitely be giving him a call. Definitely will suggest to family and friends

Bill came out in a snowstorm once. 4 ft of snow for a free estamite. I liked him him and his guys were great, nice, helped me do something. But i didnt have enough $, had to hire the rudest people i met.$1300 an hour per 3 people 3 hours work. So rude, Im talking disrespectful mean.So wish I coulda hired Bill.I was calling everyone near me for an electrition to tell me if it was a 30 amp or 50, i was told 2 different answers. And how many watts i needed, the honda i had was stolen, so i didnt know how many watts, just knew it cost me $3500..my man did man things, but he died, I was confused..he was a contractor built the house his way, like Winchester mystery house only the wiring and building part.No calls back, no one wanted a tiny job like that. So i waited 3 months confused, trying to figure it out googling my little dislexic brain off.All I need is elecrition to make sure if my connection to the generator was a 50 or 250/30, I was convinced after googling it was a 240/30 says it on it, someone said it was a 50. And how many watts for my house, I only went by the bill, 60 max Xs 100 was 6000. I needed 7 or 8000 watts at least. But winter..hmm..i cant do this! People said watts, people said square footage. Confusing!!! Well pump, fridges, i was going insane...Well, I had no help, but he said text me a picture, I was right, he even sent me a link to a generator that would be good, but I picked a inverter eco so I could run it at night, I sent him the link, he gave it the ok, all done!! I can now order it finally. Except putting it together. Great..Thank you so much Bill for taking time no one wanted to. Shows who cares around here. No call backs for 3 months, done in a few minuits. Billy Powers is a stand up guy with the highest integrity for his craft, he uninstalled my solar set up that sunny cal botched and provided me with new panels and a new beautiful system that works great. He has also rewired my entire house and left my home better then he found it. I highly recommend him for any electrical or home theater system you are planning on doing. Powers Electric is punctual, honest, and a joy to work with.

I have been looking to get a generator switch done on my home and found Powers electric on a Facebook post of theirs. I commented on the post and got a fast response and Billy came out the same day and provided me a quote that I was happy with. I was leaving for vacation that day and he assured me that he could be out the day after I returned to perform the work. That was great because every other electrician I called told me it will be a few weeks before they would be able to do anything. Billy kept in contact with me throughout the whole process , showed up right when he said he would and did a fantastic job answering all of my questions while installing the generator switch. I would highly recommend Powers Electric to anyone that is looking for any electrical needs done on their home and will definitely be calling in the near future for my next project.

Bill Powers has been magnificent in installing a large lighting system and wiring on our 12V solar system. We are on Carson Pass area, and he and his worker came up the hill---over an hour drive.His work is great, redoing some prior FAULTY installation we had done before, and he knows his stuff!!! He is pleasant to work with and very competent. He stands by this work.He is flexible and offers a variety of solutions to different situations, and doesnt leave till the project (and several additions at no charge) have been done to our satisfaction. Did late changes for no extra charge.We will use him in the future with pleasure and confidence.

After having bought and sold a number of homes over the years (mainly fixer uppers) I’ve had the opportunity to work with many contractors, electricians, plumbers etc. and I can say that Bill Powers is unequivocally a cut above the rest. Responsive, punctual and extremely consultative in making sure are not only satisfied with the work that he performs but equally as important the products/equipment being installed. He went above and beyond in every aspect of our interaction in working together and on our home. Would highly recommend for any electrical repairs, upgrades, installs etc. You will be working with the best!

I love having a professional electrician close by that returns my phone calls, arrives when he says and most of all analyzes the problem and fixes it. Bill repaired a radiant floor heating problem last year. This time we needed help figuring the cause of a tripped outside electric outlet. Bill came to check it (no repair needed) and then took time to discuss what possibly tripped it . No charge for his time! I too have Powers Electric on my first to call list.

More recently, he took a call from my husband to help us when our Solar Gateway system went down and took our whole house off grid (during this current heatwave), and came out at midnight to troubleshoot. His team is kind & reliable and is my go-to electrician moving forward. His prices for emergency services are the best Ive found as well. I 100% recommend Powers Electric!
