We have always used First Street Plumbing for our plumbing needs as they have been fair in pricing and do an excellent job. We were delighted to find out that they have also branched into heating and called them to come inspect our furnace for the season.It cost us a lot less than the local competitor we were using previously, and we got friendly service with a great quality of work from Russell and Jackson during our visit today. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest and fair company.

We had a leak in our main water line. After calling many plumbing companies, First Street came out the same day to trouble shoot it. (Thanks, Jason!) Dillon ended up making the final repair of jack hammering our floor and replacing the leaking copper elbow. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and explained at each step what he was doing. He even took the time to show where the leak was on the elbow. Needless to say, First Street will be our only plumbers in the future. Thanks for your prompt care and attention!

Absolutely a GREAT experience with this business! My wife and I have been saving to buy new appliances. I really missed my gas stove top from our previous home, but our current home was not plumbed for it. Called First Street Plumbing from a recommendation given by a friend. Tom was quick to respond with a free (and VERY competitive) estimate. Jason (The HVAC guy) who ran the new gas line and vented our over-the-range microwave is my hero! There were so many obstacles that my house had and he concord everyone of them. Truly from the bottom of my heart... Thank you Jason. A couple days later Chase came to install the dishwasher. Seemed like a great young man full of energy. Without a doubt... I will always call these guys when I need work done.

Fantastic! I had a main water valve that broke and needed replaced. They called the city out to shut my water off and when the city came out they told me the main water shut off was bent and they would need to replace it. Dallin from First Street came out and was able to fix my broken valve by rerouting the plumbing a bit and was able to fix the problem without having to shut the main water off. He was very friendly and explained everything. In no time he had that valve fixed! I was so happy to have water again. Thanks so much Dallin. Great job and very efficient.

I was having trouble with my furnace and Russell came out the same day found the trouble. A new part was needed and he would have to order it. he could get the part and the furnace would be fixed in a couple of days. Instead of a couple of days it took two weeks. The part finally arrived and the furnace got fixed. Russell does excellant work. If not for the delay in getting the part I would have given him five stars.

The drain on my washer was plugged and one toilet didn’t flush well. First Street sent Jerry who fixed both. He cleared out calcification in the toilet and used a large snake to open the drain in less than an hour. Great service but it’s what First Street Pl is known for. 🪠

We have called 1st Street about 4 times over the last few months for different plumbing issues. The plumbers I have dealt with have been polite and efficient and, as far as I know, have done the job right. Jerry and Chase especially came to my rescue today within an hour when I had the water shut off for the whole house trying a DIY fix to our leaky shower. They were able to extract a part that I couldnt and install the new parts. Colt has helped us with other jobs previously and also did fantastic work.These guys are my go-to plumbers!

After selecting another Idaho Falls plumber and STILL not having any hot water after four days, First Street agreed to come the next day between 8-12 to install our new water heater. Jason called at 8:01, arrived five minutes later, and before 10:00 we had all the hot water we needed. FIRST CALL FIRST STREET! And their price was amazingly reasonable!

These guys did an awesome job fixing the water leak I had. They showed up on time and were friendly and patient with all of my questions on the process and what all the pieces were. They had to dig a big hole in my yard and found some unexpected things wrong but jumped right in and fixed everything so that my yard only had to be dug up once. Dylan and Tom really went above and beyond to fix things in a day. Really impressed with their work and the respectful manner that they had in completing the job.

Jerry, from First Street Plumbing came and tested with a humidity meter, and found where the water was accumulating in the floor. He suggested a restoration company, and the problem was solved. He went above and beyond what I expected. He was also able to fit a replacement faucet into the schedule. Along with fixing a couple of other plumbing problems. I give them an A+. Tom at First Street Plumbing really helped us out! We were actually out of state on vacation when our daughter called us and said our main line had gone out and it was flooding our front lawn. We contacted many Plumbers and no one wanted to make our issue a priority. Other plumbers were saying it would take a week or two to get to us. Tom called us back and said he understood we were in a very bad spot. He rearranged his schedule to make us a priority and we were so grateful. When we got back in town we met Tom, they were just finishing the issue. He was a super nice guy and we were very grateful that he treated us with so much kindness and understanding. Dallin B. and Kolton G. installed a new water heater for me a couple months ago and I have nothing but praise for these hard working young men. Getting the old water heater out of the cramped crawl space it was in and then getting the new one down there and installed was no easy feat, but they managed it! They worked professionally and efficiently and talked me through the process when they were having issues getting the old water heater out. These guys were great (they deserve a raise!!) and I would definitely use First Street Plumbing again based on my experience with their staff, including in the main office when I made my appointment and called with questions.

For starters Jerry was amazing when he came and reset our toilets. My wife bought a toilet flap as well... (wrong size, because we did not know the size), she went to their store fully expecting to pay for the correct size with out concern, and they took the incorrect flap which had been installed and replaced no charge for the correct. A week later it appeared that one of the toilets might have been seeping still.... Well Jerry, returned and he tested and verified... it was dry as a bone. Me the dumb dumb didnt realize that the grout around the toilet was either stained or off color from the rest and it appeared wet. Jerry was professional, courteous about my silliness, and enjoyable to speak with. Definetely Jerry knew his stuff. thank you

I discovered a leak with my garbage disposal that had started dripping into our basement. I called several places before choosing these guys. I had gotten the run around, and lack of availability from other companies but 1st Street was timely, upfront about cost and by far the best choice for our area! The plumber came out within a couple of hours and discovered an easy fix and didn’t even charge for the quick 10 minute appointment. Nate came and did multiple little things for us, like installing a new shower spout and a new toilet seat and getting us salt for our water softener, but the biggest thing was rerouting our HVAC condensation line somewhere else instead of it going out through the crawl space where it would freeze during the Winter. The price was extremely reasonable and they came out very quickly.Well be using them to install a new bathroom downstairs in the coming weeks, and well definitely use them for all our future plumbing and heating needs!

I wanted a second quote after another plumber told me the thumping sound I was hearing in my pipes was iron and required an expensive filter (on top of what I already had paid them). I brought First Street out for a second opinion and the tech took one look and realized my pipe was loose and slamming against the wood. He secured it and that fixed it. It was a cheap service call and I plan to work with them from now on as I feel they were honest in what they do for their customers. Thank you guys!

I had been putting off a much needed repair to our bathroom faucet due to other companies high service packages to get the job done, followed by a sales pitch for a water softener system. I called First Street Plumbing that was referred to me. He sounded like he knew what the issue was even over the phone. About 2 days later they arrived, problem fixed . I was charged for the part and his labor and we were back in business under an hour. Area was clean when he left. I purchased a new refrigerator and the installer put a hole in the water line that needed to go to the fridge. I called a plumber to come and fix it, who said he would be there on a specific day. He was a no-show. So I called First Street Plumbing. We set up a day for them to come out. On the agreed day, they called at 8am and came right over. It took very little time to fix the issue and get the water running to my fridge.I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone I know in need of a plumber.
