Water heater pilot would not light. Called Teays Valley Service Experts on Wednesday and they were able to send someone out on Friday. I had called other places and they couldnt get anyone out until Monday. Frank, the technician, was very punctual, professional, and efficient. Our heat pump/heating unit on our first floor stopped working. I called Teays Valley Service Experts and they had someone come out that day. It was determined that the house unit stopped working as well as the heat pump. Someone came that night for us to review and select a new system. The 2 installers did a fantastic job installing the heat pump and internal unit. They were both friendly and very professional. Really appreciate how quickly there were able to help us given the cold temps!

Professional, courteous and like a friend, you’ve known all your life! These are just a few of the things I want to say about Teays Valley Heating and Cooling. These folks are some of the kindest people I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. They told me they would be here at 8 AM. Yes, they certainly were! Not 8:01 not 7:59, 8 AM on the dot! They were organized and like a well oiled machine as they went about their work. Stopping to chat or just hang out with us throughout the day! I don’t know what else I can say, except that… if you think you can’t get old-fashioned down home service from a large company, Teays proves that to be completely wrong! Wonderful people and new found friendships that my family will treasure always!

Our office gets an annual check-up/maintenance for both upstairs and downstairs units. Although I have not been always satisfied with services our units received in previous years, Tyler Shortridge was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He gave me detailed diagnostics along with correcting all issues. He did an absolutely wonderful job. I would highly recommend asking for Tyler for your heating and cooling needs.

We needed to have an 85 gallon electric hot water tank replaced that had reached the end of its serviceable life. For various reasons we were not satisfied with estimates from local companies to install a tankless hot water heater. By chance I met Shane Guthrie, Residential Sales Consultant, and discussed the installation of a Rinnai tankless hot water heater at our home. I sent Shane an Email with photos of the existing hot water tank and the replacement model we wanted installed on October 10, 2023 at 10:53. By 12:00 Shane had responded with a quote to remove our old tank and replace it. He referred me to Mike Savilla, Sales Manager, about questions I had about Rinnai warranty coverage and installation questions. Mike took the time to answer all my questions and arranged to send their master plumber to our house to discuss the installation. On October 12 I signed the contract to complete the installation. On October 18 Master Plumber Nathan Batton and Journeyman Levi Johnson completed the installation of the Rinnai RSC199iN tankless hot water heater. They were courteous, professional and knowledgeable. While draining the existing hot water tank Nathan took the time to explain the scope of work that would be completed to install the new hot water heater. They took the time to answer any questions I had. Nathan and Levi worked diligently to complete the job. I appreciate their hard work. We did not choose Teays Valley because they were the best value for the installation, even though they were. We choose them because of customer service. They provided a quote quickly, answered all our questions and sent great installation experts to complete the job. Thank you for a job well done.

Jacob, Logan, and Tyler replaced our 20 year old furnace and “younger” a/c compressor today and provided us with GREAT service and professionalism! After arriving early (!!), introducing themselves, and shaking my hand (a welcome thing after COVID), they went right to work. Working as a team through some chilly weather they completed the entire installation within the timeframe initially provided. Upon completion they explained everything they did and all the financial details that needed to be discussed. We are very pleased with the service we received and will welcome Jacob, Logan, and Tyler back into our home anytime. Thanks Teays Valley Service Experts for another great encounter. PS: we set our thermostat at 68 after the guys left and our family room thermometer shows 68 now five hours later!! Toasty!!

Joshua Steele is an excellent technician. He came to do a yearly plumbing inspection in January and again today to inspect plumbing lines via camera and replace wax seal on toilet. He is always courteous and answers any questions I have. He is great at explaining any issues in layman’s terms. He fixed the issue in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards which is definitely a plus!UPDATEToday Zach Vasilatos came out for the 6 month check up on my HVAC. My wife and I had amazing service with this company I want to thank two of the guys who came out and installed our new system which works really well they are Robbie Armstrong and Ryan Zimmer. They were both very friendly and amazing workers. They work well with each other and helped out a lot since I just had knee surgery they basically did what they were going to do and asked if they could close my garage so I wouldnt have to get up. I love the personal connection that they have shown which is needed in service industry and is dying. He came prepared with parts needed. My A/C was repaired in minutes . I was not overcharged despite it being a holiday weekend. I doubt there is a better service out there and highly recommend.

I have been reliably receiving HVAC service’s from Teays Valley Service Experts for going on close to 10 years now and have not had any issues until yesterday. The service expert did not make it during the allotted time frame due to an unforeseen circumstance. I was contacted by a foreman apprising me of the situation and the technician did arrive within an hour after I was notified. The technician (as with all representatives I’ve dealt with from TVSE) was very professional while servicing my HVAC system. I plan to continue to have TVSE service my dual HVAC systems for some time to come.

Had my periodic check-up done on my AC unit and they discovered a bad compressor. Rather than put a new compressor into a 13-year old unit, I opted to replace/upgrade the unit with a new one. Matt Stapleton & Ryan Zimmer were the installers. They did a great job! They were friendly, pleasant, cordial, and very professional. The install was completed in a timely fashion and they completely cleaned up after themselves to where outside of a different AC unit, you wouldnt know that I had anything done. I highly recommend this organization.

Christmas Ehe came and we didn’t have any heat at all, not even our emergency heat would work. Teays Valley are my trusted HVAC team and this is why. Grant was very knowledgeable in his profession and knew what was wrong almost immediately. Whoever built our home didn’t install the thermostat correctly, and didn’t install a thermostat compatible with our unit at all. He was friendly and we talked almost the whole time. Austin was with him at the beginning. He’s an old friend from college and was very knowledgeable as well. I’m so thankful for this company and great workers they have. We have a 1 year old and I was very worried. I’d recommend them for anyone.

The after hours call service made it very easy to schedule an appointment. Eddie called on his way to our house the day of the appointment and arrived early which was a nice surprise. He had the right tools for the job, quickly diagnosed problems with both of our units and had the parts needed to get both units working without delays or additional trips. I felt like Eddie was very knowledgeable and he was very professional & polite while explaining the work he was doing to me. I definitely recommend Teays Valley Heating & Air Conditioning. I only wish that I would have known about them sooner.

Adam Scarbro was just at my house and did an excellent job of servicing my furnace and getting it ready for the cold weather. He explained to me all of the things he was checking and cleaning et cetera. I feel so much better that Adam was here for the annual maintenance, because he has been here several times over the years and knows my system and all that has been done to it. I am always amazed at his knowledge and understanding of HVACs and I also appreciate how considerate Adam is of me and my house.Sincerely, Al Danas
