    Excellent work! Was blown away by the amount of knowledge Henry had because he was so young! Came in, fixed all my plumbing issues in one day! And when there was an issue with a part, he was able to have another part delivered within 20 minutes to my house.     Had Harry out a few weeks ago to redo my gas line and both water lines to my washer/dryer in the garage.Harry was super friendly, very patient, and quickly and efficiently got the work done.     First time hiring Thompson family plumbing & drain. Could not have asked for better service. Receptionists were very polite and scheduled my appointment same day due to emergency. Cesar was knowledgeable and transparent, answered any questions I had and had an excellent attitude. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs work done.

    A high 5 to Dustin who performed a garbage disposal replacement and installed a water heater expansion tank. He performed a complete plumbing and water pressure check all at no extra charge. He addressed all problem areas (which was needing the expansion tank) and gave me options. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and left work areas clean. We are very pleased with the service and the pricing was competitive. We will call again should the need arise. A high 5+ to the customer service ladies. They sent texts confirming appointment dates, work to be performed and if there were any concerns on my part to let them know. Businesses should take lessons from Thompsons on how to treat and respect customers. Thank You everyone at Thompsons Family Plumbing for a job well done.

    Hello Thompson family plumbing. My experience with your business was fantastic. Your timing was absolutely phenomenal. When I explained the problem you came so quickly. Your work definitely lives up to your name ( family) thats exactly how you made me feel. I wantt you to know it was not your service that caused me to look else where. The first Finance company was not consistent. First they said I was approved,, then said they couldnt verify my income, then said I needed a cosigner,, then a few days later was sending me documents saying I was approved so by then the problem was solved.     How do you find and fix a leak and you never did a leak detection to begin with.That’s is why I still have a leak and had to file a claim with my insurance after already paying $1000 to fix something that was never fixedSo I just want to say, the owner actually reached out personally to address my concerns. I was able to let him know how I was feeling and he shared some information with me and he seemed very genuine. I have never had an owner reach out to try to resolve the issue I was facing. I have always had excellent customer service from them. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control. I will still be using Thompson Family Plumbing moving forward.

    I took way too long to put this review but this is hands down the best plumbing company ever. They will work with you if you have a problem & moneys right. Both people that came were very nice & even let my kids watch them work lol I can tell this is a family owned company because they cared more about fixing my plumbing issues then make sure they made a pretty penny. Definitely going to return to them when an issue presents itself & would recommend them over any company in this area.

    The whole team at Thompson is terrific, I first called Hitt Plumbing and that was a huge mistake, they couldn’t find the leak said I had several and needed the whole house done. Took them a week to get back with me with an estimate, I called Thompson after waiting 6days they came out found the leak and I had a quote in a half hour and started the next day before I ever heard back from Hitt. If you have plumbing issues please don’t hesitate to contact Thompson Family Plumbing.

    I called around and came across Thompson Family and gave them a turn. From the get go they were on board and helpful. Ended up calling them back later and scheduling a water heater replacement for the next day. They came over as requested, did a full on estimate and proposed several ways to get the job done. They had an installer back within the hour and two hours later I had hot water once again. They were like they advertise, 5 stars. Tom and Frank were on their A games and the only thing that hurt out this was the price but it was still lower then most of the estimates I received the day prior and the problem is now in the rear view mirror.

    Don was my technician when I called because of a leak in my wall between the garage and house. I had already located the problem, but it was in an area I wasnt comfortable fixing myself. Additionally I have had a few similar issues over the past few years, so I suspected I might have a pressure regulation issue.Don was friendly and professional and did excellent, clean work. We had to locate and dig up my house shut off and regulator that was buried under a bush in a repurposed paint bucket fashioned as a plumbing access point. It had to have been that way from the original build, since I am the second owner and the previous owner was my Grandma. Regardless, once seeing it I was convinced we should replace the regulator either way and reroute the plumbing so it didnt get reburied under the bushes.Don explained everything and did a very clean job for the price we agreed upon, he even knocked a few more bucks off when some things went smoother than planned. I wish I could post pictures on this review to show the before and after. I cannot recommend Don and Thompson Family Plumbing enough. Top notch service where they always kept me in the loop, and they had the job done the same day. Thank you!

    UPDATE: They sent out a foreman by the name of Richard. He came out and made sure everything was good. He was very thorough. I really appreciated the time he took while he was here. Thank you so much :)We called Thompson plumbing out for a drip in our master bath. The plumber said he needed to cut the wall and replace the whole part inside our wall. So Monday September 21, 2020 he came to our home to do the repair. He said it was good to go and we wouldn’t have any issues with it. My husband took a shower when he got home from work and the faucet flew off and hit his shin while he was taking a shower. I tipped this plumber $50 so the total cost was $900. This “repair” was NOT a repair. We don’t have money to just throw away. I’m so upset right now. I called the office number and left a message for them to call me in the morning. I want it fixed right. Normally we use Watts plumbing. Watts always does quality work and his prices are phenomenal. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach him and went out on a limb using a new company.I do hope that they make this right.

    Was very impressed with the quality service from Thompson Family, had a bad leak in my garage and technician Richard was sent out same day I called. Very professional, understanding and honest, gave me a fair quote for the amount of work that needed to be done. Technicians Richard and Corey made all the necessary repairs in outstanding time considering they had to break up concrete, replace piping, installed shut off valve (which I wasnt even expecting, thank you so much) and replace the concrete once finished. They cleaned up everything after and made sure that I had no questions or concerns about the job they completed, will definitely use Thompson Plumbing again, thank you Richard, Corey, and Thompson Family Plumbing.

    Dean T. was the plumber they sent out for our visit. He was so nice, knowledgeable and a very patient man. My husband was at work and had questions...Dean was so cool and answered all the questions. Dean came to help with a pressure regulator that my husband installed but it had a small leak. (unfortunately the regulator had a faulty seal) Dean took the time to physically show me the comparisons of different regulators...let me take as many pictures as needed so I could send them to my husband at work. He spoke to my husband on the phone and let him know step by step what was going on. Even my 18 yr.old so. said he was a real genuine person. Thank you Dean for everything.

    Response to my request was prompt and our water heater replacement, code upgrades, regulator replacement and proper anode installation were completed on the same day (yea, hot water again!). Additionally, all of our plumbing was inspected, including camera inspection of the waste line. The inspection alerted us to a water leak within a wall that we hadnt seen in our guest bathroom, probably wouldnt have discovered it before damage became apparent. All of the office staff and both technicians were professional, friendly, and kept us updated through the day. More could be said, excellent service and we appreciate all that was done!

    I had a slow leak in my water main that my utility company notified me of that had turned into a large leak once I found it and dug it up. I called Thompson Family Plumbling late on a Monday morning and they were able to come out a few hours later and fix the leak.     I had Dean from Thompson family plumbing come by and check out the water heater we just purchased. The pilot light wasnt working and its brand new. He gave me excellent advice on where and what type of unit to get and get my money back from the one I just purchased. He recommended a good brand and told me to spend the extra money because it will save me a lot of headaches in the long run. He gave me a estimate on how much the part and labor would be if I decided to just fix the new unit. I felt it was a fair price. But I took his advice and saved myself a lot of time and money.

    Called Thompson’s on a Friday as soon as they opened and got a very pleasant female voice on the line. I explained my problem and she said she would have a technician out to my home ASAP. Joe showed up within 45 min driving a clearly marked company van wearing a nice company logo’d shirt which to me legitimizes the company perception. He diagnosed the problem between the house and the septic tank and realized he would need a full day of working and digging to fix the problem. He was able to temporarily fix the problem for the weekend as we had family members coming to spend the night. He showed up bright and early Monday morning with a helper and had the total problem fixed by 3 PM. He took photos of all the steps of the repair as I was not present to see the progress throughout the day. Because it was such a large project and needed financing Thompson’s helped us set it all up. I am confident it was fixed properly and we will not have any more problems in the future.

    Contacted Thompson because of a broken water pipe. Within an hour they had a service tech to my property. The entire process was updated in real time to my cell. When tech arrived, problem was diagnosed and I received email with photos and videos showing problem. The tech was knowledgeable and very courteous . HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!!

While Ulysses was here he saw that the water pressure to my house was dangerously high and he made his recommendations.     FIRST IMPRESSION…best service ever!I will never use another plumber again.I called their office and Alex took care of me right away. She said she would have a tech out the same day. I received a text shortly after with the name and picture of my technician (nice safety feature) and all the info I needed about the company.My technician was Joseph Stepanian “Joe” and he arrived within an hour of my call to the office. What a class A group of people. Joe was professional, personable and well spoken. He listened to what I had to say and offered a solution that would have it fixed within a couple hours.I let him get to work and noticed right away the he laid out a trap on my rockscape so he had a place to put the mud and dirt. Needless to say, very respectful of my property considering what I’ve seen from other contractors. He showed me what was broken, what he had to do to repair it and an estimated completion time. He finished ahead of schedule, cleaned up the area so well it was like he was never there. I mean it, you couldn’t tell he just dug up my yard. His work ethic and professionalism was top notch.The final invoice I paid was the same as my estimate. No hidden fees or add ons.     This review is long overdue. However, its not due to negativity. Life just gets in the way...Anyway Dean from Thompson came out to our house twice - once to work on the kitchen faucet that needed a cartridge replaced and a second time to replace the entire faucet and the connections below the sink.Unfortunately, it turned out after the cartridge was replaced that the whole faucet needed to be replaced. This had nothing to do with Deans work which was flawless. There was simply an extra problem. When he came out the second time he switched out the faucet and redid the connections below. He also fixed the guts of one of our toilets and in doing so noted that our water pressure was extremely high. He switched out the water pressure regulator and now everything is perfect. I have nothing but positive comments and glowing remarks for Dean and Thompson Family Plumbing. They were fast, efficient and got the job done. Their rates were reasonable and Dean was extremely friendly. Thanks to Thompson and I highly recommend!!

    I live in Apple Valley, CA and had a leak on our water house line. Thompson Family Plumbing was very helpful during the whole time- from making an appointment to the actual repair. They did charge a 65 dollar fee for an estimate, but they took that off the repairs that they did. The person that I spoke to on the phone, to set up my appointment for a quote, was very understanding of what my plumbing needs were and scheduled Vincent to come to my home.     Our technician, Dean, called before he arrived and he arrived on the front end of the two hour window so we weren’t waiting around for him. He was clean and respectful and explained everything before starting the job. He completed the job in a timely fashion and to our satisfaction.UPDATE: We smelled gas near our water heater in the garage. Called the office on Black Friday and the technician, Joseph Stepanian, was at our house within a couple of hours. He quickly found a small gas leak and repaired it then offered to service our water heater since we had never serviced it and didn’t realize we needed to. He quickly took care of that and cleaned up after himself. After we paid and he was sitting in his van finishing up the paperwork, we noticed that there was a strong odor of gas near our gas meter. We asked Joseph if he could check it and he gladly did so. There was no leak detected but we still appreciate that he took the time to check for us. We would absolutely recommend Thompson Family Plumbing and we will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs.

    Anyone ever had their hot water heater give up the ghost at a convenient time? Yeah, me neither. Choosing Thompson Family Plumbing was the absolute best decision and really glad I did! We havent had a need for a plumber since moving up here and my husband was working out of town when it died. I read reviews, chose Thompson, crossed fingers and hoped for the best. I knew it was going to need replacing, but what I didnt know was the extent of other issues that stemmed from that. Daniel was knowledgeable, professional, and answered any questions I had. After seeing what causing the issue gave us estimate for new water heater installation if we go this route and repair estimate if we decide to repair and also recommended a sediment trap , which we never knew was a thing which we are actually interested in.     The original 37 yr old water heater in my house began to leak so I called several plumbers for an estimate on replacement. Thompson Family Plumbing gave me a reasonable price quote but more importantly I was impressed with their professionalism, responsiveness and expertise. They were very quick to respond to my call and arrange for someone to come to the house. Their method of updating me on the plumbers expected arrival and verification by photo was very reassuring. Besides a reasonable quote I was extremely impressed with the technicians (Richard R.) manner, expertise and experience. When he came to work on on the replacement of the water heater and bringing the system up to code, he explained what he was doing each step of the way and answered all of my questions. I could tell from our talks and his workmanship that he was a perfectionist. Ive had the water heater a couple of months and its performing perfectly. Im very fussy about workmanship and recently when I happened to look at the new water heater, the expansion tank, piping and all the connections, I couldnt help but admire Richards workmanship. Thompson Family is now my only plumbing company and I will always ask for Richard.

    I called several local Plumbing companies in the area to respond to a gas leak in the home that was detected by SoCalGas. The lead was detected after a fumigation service that required the Gas to be turned off before and on after the fumigation service.Two of the other companies I contacted said theyd show up, but never did which wasted 2 days. Another came out, looked at the work, said theyd return but never returned, called or responded to my calls to understand when they would be back. A fourth suffered a workforce Covid shutdown.Thompson was located in the High Desert about an hour away, which is why I was reluctant to call initially, but given the delays (now a week without gas services) I spoke with their answering service who connected me with a technician right away. We tried to hook up that day, and kept in communication throughout, but was not able to get anyone out. The communication was important and a valuable reason for the good experience.The technicians showed up the next morning, reviewed the situation and proceeded to layout several incremental solution ranging form hundreds to thousands of dollars in search of the leak. Luckily, we were able to find and correct the problem in a matter of hours, and gas service was restored.After some reflection on this experience, where the other companies were interested in the Big payday, Thompson Family Plumbing took the time to look at all the scenarios, laid them out so no surprises if things went bad.Yes, I will call them again.

    We had a great experience with replacing out old water heater. They sent a tech out same day. They sent us text to let us know within a 20 minute period when the tech would be there. He was right on time, very nice, professional, and answered every question we had with patience. He also explained everything we needed to have done. He also worked in a crowed, overheated garage without complaint (which we felt horrible about). Their prices were very reasonable and the job the tech did was outstanding!     This is the second time I have used Thompson Family Plumbing and I have to tell you they are amazing. Once for a broken pipe under my house and the second was for them to jet my lines.     The technician, I believe his name was Victor, was prompt, helpful and very courteous. The cost estimate was fair and reasonable.     This is an amazing plumbing company!!! I called FROM FLORIDA because they offer remote video conference consultations for Plumbing Issues and I saw that they had great reviews. Because of Covid-19 we cannot have a plumber in our home as it is too risky for our health. Jackie answered and immediately understood our issue and suggested we speak with James, the field manager and said that he would call within 45 minutes. James called us immediately and within 5 minutes we knew exactly how to fix the issue and if we need further help he will be able to help us further. Amazing professionalism and super nice!!     If I could give six stars, I would. First off, scheduled online, PERFECT. I had a question, and reached their 24hr number, with very quick response. I got a call day of service when the tech was enrt, also got a text WITH PHOTO of the tech, lic #, and brief description of the tech. The photo thing was so cool, so I know whos coming to the house. Dean showed up, on time from what was estimated. Did a walk through with me, going over all my concerns. Sat down at my kitchen table and had a quote within 10 to 15 minutes, and the quote was very competitive. They also offer first responder discounts, which is fantastic. Work was completed same day. Had external line behind my fridge turned into a recessed box (will have to drywall back around it, but oh well), and had him trim the front water line and replace the spicket. Dean was very professional, friendly, and efficient. I had another company come out for an estimate earlier in the week, and the quote was very high, and I was not impressed with the tech. I will definitely have Thompsons as my go to company for future, and will be recommending to fam/friends. Thanks again!!!!!

    I seldom write reviews on internet, but about this one I wrote twice. My kitchen sink had a leaking issue. This company has sent two techs to my house to make sure that issue was completely fixed. This company prioritize excellent and perfect service rather than just making money. If its job does not achieve its superp standard it will adopt all measures to perfect it without monetary consideration. Super quality service is above everything else. In my past experience with other contractors, I feel I deserve the service or sometimes feels forced to accept it or even getting ripped off. However with Thompson, I feel i over enjoyed its service and in debt to it. Although this business calls itself as family plumbing, it functions a lot more professional than those big scaled ones, from receiving calls, dispatching to final wrapping up, every step is spontaneously communicated with client and documented.     I had a possible slab leak under my patio or under the house and no shut off or regulator (they were buried under the patio). Yalonda was able to work around my work schedule and I had late appointment on Monday. They send you a txt message with a picture of the tech that will show up, awesome!!! Shannon came and was very professional and explained everything. He wanted his supervisor to come take a look, to get a second opinion the next day. Zebadiah came the next day, again, working with my work schedule. After looking around he was pretty confident the leak was under the patio. He explained everything and how much the repair would be. Shannon arrived today at about 10 am today and got to work right away. Dustin arrived about 1230 to assist. It took a little longer to locate the leak as the piping under the patio was a little weird. After they located the leak, Shamnon explained the plan for the repair and welcomed my suggestion for the location of the valve box for the new shut off valve and pressure regulator. Everything was done about 630pm. Yalonda, Alex, Shannon and Dustin were very professional and polite. The guys cleaned up all the broken concrete and stucco and swept the patio. I couldn’t be more happy with the service from Thompson Family Plumbing. I will definitely be recommending them to friend and family. Thank you.
