This was my first experience with Covenant and I couldnt be more happy. My initial appointment had to be moved due to weather - they called me in plenty of time and re-booked for the next day. The communication the day of service was excellent, the technician was nice, professional, and did a great job. Additionally, I asked him about an issue with the duct work making a popping sound and he took time to look at it and helped remedy the problem - and this wasnt at all what the appointment was for! I glad to have found Covenant and look forward to working with them in the future.

The first time we did business with Covanent Heating and Cooling was during a snow storm in February. We woke up to freezing temperatures and no heat as our very old furnace had gone out. Although the roads were treacherous they drove out from Hendersonville and replaced my furnace within 24 hours. The second time was last week. Our upstairs air conditioner was broken. My husband thought we might have to replace it but Mac, the technician found the problem and repaired it! I cannot say enough good things about Mac. He was personable and so knowledgeable explaining the issue as he repaired it. He was also prepared with a new part for our old unit in his truck. With the cost of things these days, broken furnaces and air conditioners can be a scary thing. I really trust this company and appreciate the quality people that genuinely nice associates that they employ. Thanks, Mac and Covenant!

The service and personnel were exceptional.Alec come out to perform bi-annual service on my unit and when he encountered issues (which I expected), he took the time to thoroughly troubleshoot and keep me informed of each issue present. He then plainly presented me with the options he saw and tried in no way to bias me in any direction. After I inquired about a new unit, as that seemed to be the best option for me, long term, he got in touch with the office and they were quick to help me from there. From the start, he, and covenant heating and cooling, went above and beyond.Vicky then helped me from here and made sure I would be able to have everything handled in the relatively tight window I had. She also was more than accommodating regarding following up.Troy came out within an hour and gave my system a look and wrote up a quote. He was great and professional. He took the time to explain things to me as needed and worked with me on everything.Bryson, Eddie, and Tyler were then out the next day to remove the old unit and install the new one. They each went above and beyond and were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. They were happy to answer any questions and work with me as needed.I would certainly recommend these folks for any of your heating and cooling needs. I dont remember names and I made a point to get each name to individually list them out in this review, thats how good the experience was.

Highly recommend! Everyone on staff is super nice & efficient. I just moved into an older home & the tech came out and went above and beyond. He was there for my HVAC but took the time to show me how even my propane tank worked & alerted me to an exposed live wire in my yard that had nothing to do with the services he came to do. He was so nice, patient, and really helped me out a lot. Also, he potentially saved me from extensive damages & money by showing me the wire in my yard that I had no idea about.

Covenant HVAC is hands down one of the best companies around. We had an issue with one of the new units we recently purchased. Covenant went above and beyond trying to resolve the issue. Jonathan the owner even made a trip to our home himself to try to resolve the issue. After it was determined it was a manufacturing issue, Covenant worked with the manufacturer to get us a brand new unit. Every person we have dealt with from Jonathan the owner, all of the wonderful ladies in the office (Leann I feel like you need to come over for supper one night...lol) and all of the technicians (especially Rodney The Goat) all offer outstanding service. Their dedication to customer service and honesty is top notch.

I recently moved to the area they service and didnt know any businesses to service my A/C unit and Im so thankful I stumbled upon Covenant. They offer top notch service, everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are reasonably priced. They offer service that is timely, they have never made me wait for weeks to service my unit. They are responsive to calls they receive. Their technician, Jeremy, has been the one thats came to my house and he is absolutely the best! During our routine maintenance visit, it was determined that one of our units needed more Freon, but it was frozen and couldn’t be added immediately. Conner offered to go take care of a few other customers and come back that evening at the end of his day. He is one of the most courteous, polite service providers I’ve ever had in my home. Covenant has been great! Id used them before to help with issues on my old unit with which they were always immediate and on time or early with answering, returning calls and showing up. Generally they were able to help me just simply over the phone with most smaller issues. I had to finally replace my 22 year old unit a few weeks ago and decided to go with them for the replacement. As units are costly right now I decided to get 3 different quotes. One was a couple grand cheaper, one was about right at same price and ultimately Im glad I went with Covenant. They were the only of the 3 companies to respond immediately, get the unit out a day later and have it installed, they offered financing and always answered my calls and questions. The other 2 companies never responded half the time and some companies I tried never even responded or never followed up. I have to say the customer service of Covenant is top notch and refreshing. The work they did was incredibly well done and everything looks professional and operates correctly! They also offer affordable maintenance care and great warranties. Thank you guys!

Michael arrived at my home yesterday and did outstanding work, repairing my A/C, diagnosing all the A/C issues, repairing them, cleaning all the filters that were causing my system to overheat and even diagnosing plumbing issues that I needed to get repaired. My inside temperature was 90 degrees when he arrived and shortly after he completed his work my home was a cool, comfortable 68 degrees. What a relief!He was completely professional, thorough, and technically proficient in his job. He explained everything to me in language I could understand. I will definitely call Covenant if I have any other A/C problems in the future.

I cannot overstate how reliable their work is whether regular maintenance, emergency service, or unit replacement. Linda in the office is incredible and all together seals the fact that you won’t find a better heating and cooling company in Nashville or the surrounding area. Used to work with Covenant on a daily basis via a property management job, but continue to use them on my personal home. No issues or lapses in service or communication EVER - they are always working to provide a high level service, and it shows. This morning I had a routine maintenance check up, and the technician (Michael) spent almost 2 hours going over some specific potential underlying issues, along with answering several questions. He apologized for taking so long, but I was instead extremely grateful that he was passionate enough to not just give a quick glance over and take my word that everything was working fine. He checked every in and out on the system, presented the situations and how it could cause issues over time, and provided itemized quotes for the specifics discussed. Its refreshing to work with someone who consistently goes above and beyond, very highly recommend.

Tech explained the other services they offered and I signed up for annual plan. He also educated me about what filters are best. Excellent service, great attitude, prompt response. I didn’t know what to expect or who to call for installation of bathroom exhaust fans. I’m so glad we called Covenant! Nolan came to our house and was so helpful, kind, respectful, and knowledgeable about what was needed for the proper installation. The price was very reasonable. It ended up taking 2 separate visits, but we didn’t mind at all because they quickly called us and scheduled the appointments, and Nolan was very courteous which made it easy to have him in our home. We purchased our heat and air unit from Covenant about 2 and a half years ago. Our heat went out several times, but Covenant technicians came out each time and got the heat back on. After the last time the heat went out, it was determined that the heat valve in the unit was bad and Jeremy replaced the part and have had no problems since. LeAnne at the office was super each time I called. She got a technician out quickly each time and followed up on all the visits. She was great !! Thank you LeAnne !!!!

Very satisfied with our decision years ago to choose Covenant. We will continue to take advantage of their seasonal service plans.Very customer focused company. To replace our 19 year old 3.5 ton unit, I got eight local quotes. Covenant was hands down the best price/manufacturer combo. Salesman and technicians were great. Worked well with our young children and weird dog. Follow up from the office is impressive. They sent cookies and even a check for the value of our old unit they hauled off to be recycled. Very satisfied. Also feel good about supporting a local business.

I try to perform repairs myself, but the indoor fan motor on my heat pump had me stumped. I installed a new control board and rebuilt motor to no avail and needed some professional help. Covenant technician, Jeremy Wheeler, came out and found that I got a bum rebuilt motor. He went over all my options and answered all the questions I had. He was friendly, professional, honest and I didnt feel pressured or B.S.ed. I will recommend to my family and friends.

I’ve used Covenant for a general HVAC maintenance and had duct cleaning. I honestly cannot say enough about how nice, helpful, and trustworthy they are. We’ve had a handful of issues fixed and every time someone has taken time to make sure I understand why something might need to be addressed. Chris particularly took time out of his evening to walk me through some questions and educate me on how my system works. It’s really nice to be able to trust a company to do right by you. They even prayed for my baby’s heart surgery and followed up to ask how she was after. Not a lot of people or companies do that. I’m telling you, hire this company, they care about doing the right thing.

Incredible customer service!!!Called on A Saturday for a heater not working they had a technician out in a few hours to inspect and troubleshoot. He had to order the part. They came out Wednesday repaired my unit in an hour. This company has excellent communication by texting and email when and who is in route and they keep their appointments on time. The technician was clean, courteous, and very professional. And the office staff was able to accommodate my needs with a warranty company issue I was having. 5 years ago I shopped around for a quality American Standard HVAC installer and settled on Covenant. The installation was flawless. Future support was discussed and my memory says that we agreed that if nothing happened in the first 6 months, it would be fine for the first two years. Sounded reasonable. 2,3,4 years pass and no contact by them for a maintenance check. Disappointed. Now my system is getting to the point that Im sure it could use a routine check.Contacted them and their rates for maintenance were better than others so I entered into a maintenance agreement. When he came out he was efficient and seemed to be knowledgeable.Update: since I contacted them for regular maintenance they have been stellar! Increased my rating to 5.

I cant say enough good about this company. My mom has dementia and I try to come in and help with things every other month while my sister who lives nearby deals with all the day-to-day stuff. When we discovered water leaking from under her air conditioner on Sunday, I hoped that Id be able to get somebody out before I left town, later in the week.I called first thing Monday morning and Covenant was able to get somebody out same day (I was thrilled and shocked) and Brandon called me as they said he would but I also received a text letting me know that he had completed his previous job and was going to be contacting me. I have never written a review for anything, but felt I needed to praise the professionalism and work ethic of Chris. We became aware of Covenant after my wife’s parents needed some AC work done and they spoke so highly of the work product and person who showed up (who took time to have several meaningful, memorable conversations with my mother in law who was recovering from surgery). So when our new home started suffering from some sub-optimal HVAC installation--despite being built only 5 years prior--and the AC stopped working, we called Covenant. Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 AC coils needed replacing. Chris was very thorough in his explanations and very kind in acknowledging the financial impact of the diagnosis; his interactions with our 3 young children were similarly kind. He even drew a diagram of what the issue was and explained it to my five year old (who was super interested in what was going on). When Chris came back to begin the work, my five year old immediately recognized him and remembered his name (high praise!). He arrived in the early morning and spent more than a full day in our attic and under our house well past dark. He never wavered from his compassionate demeanor. We invited him for dinner which he politely declined eating his lunch AND dinner in his work truck. He went above and beyond not only fixing the problem, but re-configuring some duct work to prevent future issues. His capability, personality, and expertise would be valued in any industry and am so thankful that he was the one who showed up when our AC went out! Oh, and that kind man who helped my mother in law, yep, it was Chris.

Our AC went out right as we were beginning to have warm/hot temperatures. We unfortunately thought Home Warranty of America would help us replace the unit as they had promised, which is why we kept renewing the service every year. We had paid out of pocket (since nothing is covered under Home Warranty of America) to fix the unit a couple of times. After paying for the warranty and repairs, we could have had a new unit to begin with. We called Covenant Heating and Cooling desperately just wanting a new AC ASAP. They responded quickly with a very fair price! When Chris and his team came to install the unit, the weather was terrible and delayed the service. He stayed LATE to make sure our unit was up and running by the end of the night. Our home has been nice and cool! We would use them again!

There are good air conditioning companies in the Hendersonville area, I have done business with several good companies over the years. In 2014, we purchased an A/C unit without reading reviews on the Brand. The company that installed the unit got tired of my calls. I complained on the first day the new unit was noisy. Apparently, the unit has a variable fan motor. All I know is I have been listening to what I call a wobbly tone for years. The day I called Covenant I was hoping they would hear me out. So yesterday Chris from Covenant made some changes to our unit. He adjusted the fan, installed something to make the unit more efficient and last night I got some sleep. That wobbly tone was so disturbing that I would not run the unit during the day because the tone would get stuck in my head and I would hear when I wasnt even home (tinnitus.) Well Covenant must have taken 10 calls from me in the past 6 months. Each time I was treated with kindness. No one got tired of my calls. I can not say enough about how diligent Covenant was toward resolving my problem. I highly recommend this company because I was treated well and most of all Chris found a solution for me. These people are fantastic! My husband and I own Dogs Life in Goodlettsville, TN. Our business is a Dog Daycare and Boarding center. Our Heating and Cooling unit broke a blade on the fan. They sent a tech out the same day to make sure all the pets in our care would be comfortable. Other heating and cooling companies gave me all kinds of excuses to why they could not come out the same day. These companies did not care at all about the pets in our care. I will never use any other company for my heating and cooling needs.

My main HVAC system (15 yrs old) had a leak through the coils, so the entire system needed to be replaced. Since we are in the middle of a Tennessee summer, Covenant is extremely busy. They couldnt get the system swapped out for 10 days, so they came back out and filled the unit with freon so my family and I could remain cool until the unit could be swapped out. Ive used a number of HVAC companies over the years, but I have finally found a company that I can count on to be honest and provide excellent service.

I am reviewing the evaluation process used by Matt Caylor of Covenant Heating and Cooling. I am very favorably impressed with the manner in which he developed his bid.I called Covenant to bid on a replacement for our outdoor unit which uses gas to heat and electricity to cool. I chose to call Covenant because the company advertises that their techs are NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certified. Having researched the significance of that certification, I know the standards they have chosen to meet.Of all the bids I got, Matt was one of only three who took the time to research the conditions of my house. Of the three, Matt was the most thorough. He took into account the condition of the home. He measured the size and number of the windows and took into consideration manufacture and condition of the windows. He asked about insulation in the attic and crawlspace and size of the interior.Matt and I discussed issues about airflow because I would not allow him inside the house due to concerns about the Covid virus. No other representative or contractor was as complete in assessing my house and how the results of the appraisal affected my needs for proper air conditioning.Matt took the time to explain what was involved in his thought process, emphasizing important criteria and observations. He used the data he gathered to determine the best sized HVAC product, employing software based calculations instead of just eyeballing.I am impressed with how Matt represented himself and Covenant Heating and Cooling.

I would like to take a moment to say that I am so grateful. I am 64 years old and cant do things like I once could. I was broke down on the side of the road with a flat tire on Friday evening and a young man named Will was the only person who stopped to help of what looked like 200 cars that passed. Imagine this I do not carry a cellphone (imagine a person who doesnt have a cellphone in this day and age) but he found I had no spare so he made a call to someone he knew and took my tire to get it fixed. They was unable to repair the tire so he bought me a new tire and came back to install it. I offered to repay him as soon as I could but he said he was once in the same situation and someone helped him so he wanted nothing in return. What a blessing this guy is. Bravo covenant for hiring such a wonderful man

We called Covenant for an emergency repair during the bad ice storm because we had a loud noise coming from a register that we thought was a problem with the furnace /air handler. Brandon showed up, determined the problem was actually a frozen drain pipe from our sump pump that over pressurized and had blown off the coupling from the pump to the drain. The sound we were hearing was actually the water from the pump hitting the ductwork anytime the sump Pump came on. He cleared the ice from our drain lines and got everything working normal again. He was Very professional and I can’t recommend this company enough.
