Bennington Builders completed a major renovation of our 1950s rancher, including a second story addition and full renovation of the existing main floor. We added a master bedroom and bath, two bedrooms and a hall bath on the top floor, expanded the kitchen and living room on the main floor, and added a mud room. Benningtons work far exceeded my expectations. They worked extremely well with my architect, took the time to explain the process to me, were always available to answer questions or deal with any issues, and helped me stay within my budget. Dave identified potential issues with the project and worked collaboratively with me and the architect to avoid any delays or cost overages. His project management skills are top notch. It seemed there was never a day that someone wasnt at our house working. All of his subs were efficient and professional and the work was outstanding. The project concluded precisely when he said it would - which was very important as we were renting a second home. I am so grateful to BB for helping us realize our dream home. I would, without reservation, hire them for any future projects!!

Bennington Builders did a beautiful job on our major renovation and screened porch addition and deck in 2022 and 2023. Not only did they finish on time and on budget, but our experience -- from the first meeting to the followups after the work was completed -- was excellent. Dave took our wishes to heart throughout the process and helped us find compromises when we needed to. When a vendor, whom we had requested using, failed to deliver the correct cabinetry, Dave made things right. The craftsmanship was excellent and we have absolutely loved our new spaces!

Bennington Builders designed and built an addition on our house that contained a master bedroom, master bath, and walk-in closet. They also renovated one of our existing full bathrooms and our kitchen, as part of the same project. We were very happy with both the service they provided and the finished work. They guided us through the entire project with step-by-step lists and design consultation. The project was completed on-time and within budget. Our growing family remained living in a distant portion of the house while they carried out the work, and the Bennington Builders crew and leadership were very careful, accommodative, and considerate of our family’s well-being throughout the project. Bennington Builders also provided excellent communication and responsiveness throughout the project, and were quick to address any questions or concerns that came up. We are very pleased with the addition and renovations that they did for us, and we highly recommend Bennington Builders.

David understood my vision and made it happen. The crew did excellent work and was clean and courteous. There are things that come up with old houses along the way that were not originally anticipated, which did result in some additional cost, but all was explained clearly. The very few issues we had after the work was completed were addressed quickly and satisfactorily. I would definitely engage this company again for future renovations.

Great experience with Bennington Builders, from the submission of an outstanding initial bid to the final completion of all punch-list items. Very attentive to the architect’s detailed plans and our directions in the creation of a beautifully finished basement and full bath, a custom workshop, and a new deck and entryway. We would work with the company again and would recommend their services.

Dave Bennington completed a large 2 story addition to our 1930s colonial. The project was completed a few weeks earlier than expected- does that ever happen??!! Dave excelled at the project management- having all of the subcontractors lined up and ready to work at each phase. As usually happens, there were some unexpected issues like a wet basement that they addressed by waterproofing and rebuilding our front stoop and 5 years later the basement is dry. The addition included a new kitchen, 4 new bathrooms, and a bedroom. Excavation was needed to build the new foundation. Overall, we recommend Bennington builders and would absolutely use them for any future work.

I highly recommend Bennington Builders to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and customer-focused construction company. Bennington Builders did a fabulous job building my teaching studio in my backyard. The quality of workmanship is exceptional; every aspect of the studio is solid and beautifully finished. They kept me updated on progress and addressed any questions or concerns promptly. The windows and doors were ordered on the first day as there was a 6-week backlog! During construction, the crew was efficient, organized, and respectful of my property. . 12 months after completion there were some issues with my wood floor cupping, without any hesitation, they moved the furniture and refinished the floors at no cost. They have transformed my backyard into a space that I will enjoy for years to come. I will call on them for any future projects.

Our renovation included adding a screened porch, finishing out a basement, and updating a kitchen and owner bedroom/bathroom suite. Bennington Builders were excellent! They work fast, which was a priority for us, and they worked with us to help make sure we were making good decisions along the way. I would very much recommend working with them. Theyve done a lot of work in our neighborhood and each project looks great. Some hopefully helpful anecdotes - When they were finishing the basement they found a big crack in the foundation, which felt devastating to us, but within days they had dug out around the foundation and reinforced the wall, filled in the dirt and regraded around there (which was the problem to begin with), and sealed in the crack with an epoxy. And just like that the problem was fixed and it in no way held up our project. Another one, we were having trouble finding the stone we wanted for our countertop but they were able to direct us to a place that had exactly what we had envisioned on hand. For the screened in porch, they had this great idea of adding a folding system of glass doors that could be opened up to connect the porch space with our breakfast nook, and its been one of the best features of our project. We were certainly happy with how our project turned out.
