Taylor from OHA Home Services did a very thorough inspection of all my HVAC components, educating me while he was doing the inspection. I learned a lot! Then he did a thorough cleaning of the drain pipes and cooling fins and outside units (clear leaves and debris out of the units), then reassembled the outside units and ensured everything was working correctly. He did an excellent job!!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about OHA Heating & Air. For a couple of years now they have serviced our old oil heating furnace. Theyd come out fast and in a hurry especially on cold winter days if we were having issues. But recently we took their recommendation of installing a new heating & air system including new ductwork. They arrived on time, pulled out the old system and ductwork pretty fast. Showed us how horrible our ductwork was and I couldnt believe we had been breathing that mess for so many years. Brendan and his team talked us through each step they were taking. Each day wed receive a text message letting us know when they were on their way. Brendan was very thorough at explaining each step of their installation. He went the extra mile even after completion, because he knew we were also having basement renovations done by another company and wanted to make sure there was no issues with our new system. I recommend OHA to anyone who has asked for a good HVAC company.

Our technician Chris Dominski did a wonderful job Rebuilding our older fireplace and installing new and updated gas valve and starter mechanism.He was great about explaining all of the details about the FIREPLACE but most of all he cleaned every piece of the fireplace which was 20 years old Before putting the pieces back together. This made it look brand new. When he left, it was like a brand new fireplace Everything spotless, clean, and putting out lots of heat. Yes, I highly recommend him.

Bernie is a personable fellow and is intently focused on his work. He takes the time to explain what he is doing and is happy to answer questions and discuss options. He performed the fall maintenance on my HVAC and the annual maintenance on the fireplace and noted some issues with the fireplace. Given it is 20+ years old that was not surprising. He came back a few days later and performed the repair in short order.Id be happy to have Bernie come back and service our equipment anytime. All the service personnel at OHA are nice people and good workers.

Our A/C went out and OHA customer service was amazing. Not only did they send someone out ASAP, Godfrey (our technician) was extremely helpful in helping me understand what was going on with our system. This is the third time I have used OHA (the first two were for our fireplace and chimney) and they have exceeded my expectations each time. I was first drawn to them because they are Veteran owned, but I will continue using them for their excellent customer service and their terrific work.

From the very beginning when I selected the wrong date by mistake online for my appointment, the staff have been nothing short of exceptionally patient and professional. They were able to change my service date at the last minute and were very accommodating. Bernie was our technician and he was kind, very professional, and took his time to ensure the root of the problem was found and addressed. The cost came in right around where I estimated and there was never any pressure to add on services I wasn’t interested in. I will absolutely be using OHA exclusively moving forward for all of my HVAC needs.

This is my second time using OHA, two years ago for an install and a few weeks ago for another install. Had Brian as my initial contact this time. Brian was a straight forward guy, worked with me and got me a good deal. Had a little hiccup with the install but brain personally saw to it that the problem was taken care of.Overall i am one happy customer and will use OHA in the future. If you are looking to get a new unit installed, you cant beat OHA.. Ask for Brian .

Devon and OHA are great! The lady who took my call was friendly and understanding of my situation (3 weeks in a heat wave with no AC), and got me set up for an appointment the within 2 days. I received a notification when Devon was on his way, and could not be happier with the service he provided. A previous company tried to get me to pay to have my whole condenser replaced, and Devon figured out it was just a clogged drain tripping a safety in no time. My system is running great again and I didnt get robbed with unnecessary charges/ maintenance. I will be using OHA again in the future. Thanks a ton!

Very professional, polite, and dedicated to a quality job. 100 degrees outside and probably 150 in my attic where the team had to remove the old HVAC and install the new one. The outside unit installation encountered a nest of yellow-jackets. What an ordeal that was handled expertly by OHA team. I am so pleased that I used licensed, experts who were also good natured and finished the job. This team and company give the customer confidence in quality of their work.

Your OHA Plumber, Daniel McSorley, arrived on time and quickly assessed the work I needed done and gave me an estimate. Once we agreed on that he went straight to work repairing/installing the vanity I had started in my basement bathroom. He did an absolutely expert job and he even carefully cleaned up afterwards. Angel diagnosed the problem with a leak under the sink and determined that the faucet failure was the cause. I opted to replace the faucet. He obtained a replacement faucet from a plumbing supplier, installed it and had the problem remedied in a matter of hours.

I highly recommend OHA!!My AC unit was 16 years old. Would only cool the house for about 30 minutes and kick off. I knew my unit was old and failing. I searched local Facebook pages, checked with neighbors for who they recommend. The fear of “getting screwed over” is always there. Especially with a large purchase.I made the decision to call OHA and hoped for the best because I knew the outcome was going to be purchasing a new unit.A few reasons I recommend OHA:1. They pull county permits for their work. You know work will be done correctly.2. Brian the tech was extremely knowledgable. Answered all my questions. Have me multiple options on my current scenario. He was not a salesman.3. Manny the installer was fantastic. He was polite, informative, and efficient.4. This is a locally owned company. Not a national brand or chain.5. We use OHA for several things around the house. This was our first time using the dryer duct cleaning service. Michael arrived on time and ready to work. He immediately spotted a couple of issues that needed to be addressed and after solving those, removed enough lint to fill a pillow case from the roughly 45 feet of ducting.Since the dryer duct runs through the basement, where the air is cooler, the warm, humid dryer air has a tendency to stick to the duct work easier. This service is now on our house schedule.

Lots of positive things to say about my experience with their service, here are a few.- The receptionist expressed sincerity and concern asking careful questions and taking notes.- The technician, Taylor, was courteous in letting me know his arrival time of both of his visits - to which he was prompt, on time, and cleanly dressed. He immediately took to repairing my 30+ year antique gas fireplace. Understanding that parts are no longer manufactured, he found universal parts that worked. He made sure to test for gas leaks every step of the way and noticed that he didnt cut any corners moving the heavy unit around and removing large access plates. What stood out to me about him was there was never a I cant/wont do it attitude that Ive experienced with more than a handful of fireplace shops in the local area. His confidence in the repair to me, demonstrated confidence in his abilities and company backing. He communicated with me frequently (one night past 8PM on a Friday). He went above and beyond his scope of duties and OHA deserves to recognize this technician, if not already recognized. Not sure why it was $475 difference when it took 5 minutes to install. I actually could of done that. But that is my only issue. Other then that the whole Installation for the hvac and fan seemed like the right price for the money. I would honestly buy a thermostat elsewhere and do that part yourself but this company did damn good with the hvac installation.

My parents bought a house and as I was helping get the house ready for their move in, I noticed the air conditioning was not blowing cold air. Come to find out that the unit was completely shot! The previous owners never mentioned it and the home inspection clearly missed it! We called OHA to come take a look and they found massive leaks and recommended a full new install. Thankfully they worked extremely quickly to come and install the new system before my parents traveled across the country to their new house. Zack Coble was on call today and came to my residence to troubleshoot a problem w our thermostat. Prior to his arrival the company (OHA) Sent a short bio of the employee which was very nice and we saw who we would be working with. Once Zack arrived, he was more than professional, very knowledgeable and was very transparent in all the steps he was conducting. He found the issue and he carefully explained what it was, why it happened and provided a plan to move forward. Not only do I recommend OHA but I highly recommend Zack for any work to be done. Businesses would be more prosperous if they had more employees like Zack and the professionalism and work ethic he conducts. 5 Star service or 10 out of 10.

I cannot express how much I appreciate Taylor and our OHA experience. The gas company indicated that there was a leak at our furnace after conducting a pressure test. We contacted OHA to repair what we thought was a leak and confirm the gas companys findings. Taylor was incredibly prompt and courteous and provided effective communications given we werent in the state when all this was happening. Taylor performed a leak test and found no leaks. He gave us the peace of mind that running our furnace was safe and there were no issues. I texted Taylor the day after he performed these tests and asked a bunch of questions. He answered all my questions and gave me recommendations related to having the gas company come back to validate their initial findings if I thought that was necessary. OHA and Taylor will be our first call for any and all HVAC related service going forward.

Over the course a day, we had at least 6 employees from OHA in our home. Two to inspect our chimney, two to clean our air vents, and two to fix a plumbing leak. Talk about an employee reunion in a home we just moved into.Each and every single one of them was professional and so, so kind. They explained what they were seeing and gave me opportunities to ask questions. They shared their recommendations, but werent pushy at all.I have to give a huge shout out to Robert for going above and beyond...fixing leaking faucets, and straightening out a faucet...things he noticed that I didnt even bother to point out. Oh, and fixing the leak that was causing it to rain in my kitchen!

I had Trevor Kelley and one technician come to install my new American Standard heating and air condition system yesterday. Trevor came and met me and explained how the whole procedure worked from start to finish. He was very professional on the whole process along with his other technician. They kept the whole downstairs clean installing tarps to protect my rug areas. So impressed with the system such a beautiful job. They mentioned they had a scrubber if I wanted to go ahead and install at the same time. This was something I wanted to do. Trevor saved timed for another visit got this done in one day. An excellent cleanup job was all completed. I have been with OHA over 15 years love the dependability and care.

These guys are the best, I had Bernie come out and he was so efficient. The company called and sent me a picture of the technician and told me when he was coming and he was right on time. He went above and beyond explaining everything to me and showed me pictures of the damage and walked me through the whole process of each picture. Had an emergency call on a faulty thermostat. I called OHA HVAC as Im a regular customer and they promptly had their technician Richard Shaw at my house soonest. Mr. Shaw assesed the problem, installed the new thermostat, and programmed it after a quick tutorial and a final check of our HVAC system. All was working great. We used the chimney sweep / inspection service for annual maintenance of masonry chimney and wood insert. From making the appointment to Jason Spear arriving punctually, delivering all points inspection that included the chimney, insert, cleaning and leaving the area in a clean manner, we have definitely found a reliable, professional and courteous company and continue to utilize and recommend to others. Jason also recommended some exterior maintenance and returned again in a timely manner after the detailed estimate was accepted and completed all repairs.

Brandon did a great job installing our new i2500 Regency wood stove. He is very good at communicating where needed throughout the job. The job was delayed by 6 days as he, Matthew and Griffith made a wise decision to rent a man lift to safely access our rather tall chimney.Matthew did a good job as well with the install and final instructions when completed. A very good crew overall! I would use them again!
