I have used Thatcher & Sons twice since buying my house. They initially came recommended by my parents who have used them 3x for their own house. They came and put in a water line for the fridge, installed my dishwasher, fixed a leaky faucet, and rerouted a gas line for my dryer. They were quick and efficient and took less time than I anticipated. The next day I ran into a separate issue with sewage backing up and flooding part of the basement. They were able to come within a couple hours and able to back-snake the drain and fix the issue quickly. Worth every penny spent to ease my anxiety about moving. Highly recommend.

Have done two projects with this group and they did a fantastic job adding a battery backup sump pump after a scare with a power outage during the summer rainstorms of 2021 nearly overflowing the basin. Turnover was quick, despite their very busy time helping other (probably flooded!) homes, they came around in less than two weeks. They also threw in a water recirculation system and now my two distant faucets have hot water when needed!2nd project was mainly a reconnection of a faucet tailpipe, they showed up in less than 4 days!Highly recommended if you need the plumbing job done by professional, hard working people.

We have been a repeat customer of Thatcher & Sons Services, Inc. since purchasing our home 7+ years ago. Recently, the team performed a major job of replacing our water main valve into the house. Though it was a very stressful and difficult situation (lack of insurance support and digging up of our backyard- which was understandably necessary), Matt R. and AJ were extremely kind and patience. Matt R. was very communicative and always open to answer any and all questions and concerns that we had. They tried every way possible to avoid removing the entire patio, but it was needed in order to address the problem. We will continue to use Thatcher & Son in the future (hopefully for very minor plumbing needs :) ).

Pricing was very reasonable, too. My new go-to plumber, whom Ill refer family and friends to.

Loved working with Jon, Jeff and Josh, they came right on time, explained my plumbing problems in great detail and also the steps and choices needed to repair the issues. We ran into some unexpected snags with my 98 yr old house that were quickly and intelligently resolved. This was the best experience I have ever had with any contractor of any type. The costs were reasonable and I feel completely worth it. Very Highly recommended.

They were able to identify problems with past plumbing and were able to clear the main sewer line. They were timely and professional. However, they ran water to test a shower before clearing the main line, causing sewage to back up into the basement. I was also charged for scoping the drain, but was not shown any imagery or told what was blocking the main line.

I can not believe how helpful and professional these guys are. I have used them now 4 times between two homes and I have never been disappointed. They will point things out, explain what and why they are doing things. They show you the prices of parts before you agree to anything and stand behind their work. After using them the first time you get a discount on any other work. Also, you never wait a long time to be scheduled. Once scheduled, they send and email and text reminder then another text right before they arrive. I will never use another company.
