    George Perez jr he was very professional and he made sure I knew what I needed and what type of furnace that I was getting I was very pleased with his decision. Also Isaak Cruz and his crew from Detroit Furnace came today 11/11/2024 to put in my new furnace it was a very timely job , But when Isaak Cruz and his crew were done , he explained everything to me when the job was completed, I saw that the furnace done excellent and professionally , I’m so very impressed and satisfied .     The contractor called that he was on his way and the time he would arrive which was more than an hour before my scheduled appointment which worked out perfect. He explained the reason I was having the problem and what most likely was causing it and fixed/repaired it. He was very friendly and courteous and left the area he worked in clean. I would highly recommend this company if you ever need a repair and just an FYI it was one of the toilets that he repaired.

    I contacted them yesterday morning when my water heater went out and they sent someone out to my home that afternoon for an estimate and replaced the heater first thing this morning!     Josh Turner and Alec were FAST!! They came in, asked about the issues I was having. I told them that my sink had a bad smell and that the garbage disposal was making a bad noise. My toilets were making a gurgling sounds.These guys went right to work!They were courteous enough to put shoe slippers on at the door.     Kevin is an outstanding plumber! He fixed the leaky pipes to my water heater quickly and efficiently. He also replaced the parts in my noisy toilet, which has been an issue for a while.     Well Id like to say that was so very easy and the technician by the name of Tony was fantastic! 🤩I get my service through DTE home protection appliance plan, and they set me up with Detroit furnace.The wonderful technician, found the leak in the hose went out to home Depot and found that hose and got it fixed in no time!I also kicked in a prayer for him just for being so nice, God bless him and the whole staff both at DTE and Detroit furnace a job well done thank you!!! 👍🙏🇺🇲

    After being stuck on the fw for 4-5 hrs,they still came and installed my ac unit. And when they need help to get job done faster, they called their co worker, they came... Rob and Heydan was nice,friendly, and answer all my questions. Everyone was excellent 👌. Clean up when they were finished. I would recommend Detroit furance to Everyone . GOOD JOB.

    I had an exceptional plumbing service call today on my toilet. Chris B. was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, kind, helpful, thoughtful, caring and did an excellent job repairing my toilet. He thoroughly explained everything he did and showed me what parts he replaced in the tank. After that he asked me to flush the toilet so that I could make sure it was working properly and that I was completely happy with the work he did.     After being quite nervous about having pipes cut & new ones put in along with the new hot water tank, the guys explained exactly what they were doing & showed me everything they replaced, plus how to dial down the temperature & shut off the water.     I appreciate the way, Josh and Owen explained everything they were doing and why! They took care of my home as if it were their own. When they were finished there was a light hanging in my furnace room and Josh took a few extra minutes and a few screws and secure the light fixture for me.     Alex and Mike were excellent and very kind. I appreciate that Detroit Furnace made sure they got their technicans scheduled very quickly when they knew both mysrlf and my husband are disabled and it was difficult and very dangerous for us to attempt to heat pots of water so we could bathe. This company has been to our home over the years and have always been very helpful and courteous and went above and beyond to help us no matter what the situation was.     Isaak, Henry, DJ and Altin they were wonderful. Isaak gave me my walk through and made sure I understood everything before he left. They set up everything the way I wanted it and when I asked questions someone out the crew had a answer. I will be recommending them to who ever needs heat, plumbing or central air.     I want to say how Awesome my experience was today. I needed a plumber because no water was coming out of the bathroom faucet after the water heater was installed by a different contractor a few days ago. Firstly I was pleasantly surprised they came out the very next day.Tony B. arrived on time. Even before I had my first cup of morning coffee. He was cheerful, presentable , polite, professional and most certainly knowledgeable. He explained what the issue was and fixed it in no time at all. Our furnace was replaced within days of our contacting them and they supplied us with room heaters until they could do the replacement!     Hello and AGAIN !!I received the best 5 star service today. Due to me being a caregiver, I was concerned about having our (3) plumbing issues resolved. However, Tony and his helper Kelvin where super professional, polite and completed everything. Tony explained that my new toilet is designed to use less water and the sound I was hearing is the unique efficiency vacuum. Tony also showed me the finished work, he also made the valves more efficient for me to use and I am so grateful for the results. There was absolutely no cleaning up required by me, after the work was done. I will refer my neighbors to Detroit Furnace. Kayla deserves to be acknowledged here also, she was so pleasant to speak to when I called and very professional.Great work and again thank you.

    Ive been helping get my elderly mothers older home updated in Livonia for a variety of things and have used Colonial Heating & Cooling and Plumbing. We have been very satisfied with all 5 workers who have been in our home. Very patient, informative, respectful, polite and knowledgeable. Weve have the furnace looked at and worked on a few times for yearly maintenance. Recently, we had a new hot water heater put in, along with a new bathroom facet, and a laundry room drain snaked out.     My water heater suddenly stopped working one morning. Detroit furnace was able to come out that afternoon to access what needed to be done. I needed a new water heater. They were able to schedule me the next day. The workers were pleasant and nice, cleaned up after themselves and left me with a brand new water heater. I would use them again.

    Where do I start, at the beginning I guess.It all started on Monday 28 October 2024 when I called DTE for my annual furnace inspection.Let me say here, I live in Port Huron, Michigan.I have in the past had Detroit Furnace sent out for my annual inspection by DTE, so this year I requested they be sent because I liked their work and the technicians that were sent.Detroit Furnace is out of Fraser, Michigan.On 30 October 2024 Mitchell McDowell is the Technician who arrived.Mitchell is a Field Supervisor.While he was doing the inspection on my furnace, I was asking him questions about a new furnace and water heater.After the inspection was completed, which my furnace passed, we stood talking about new equipment.I liked Mitchell as a person and as a Technical Tradesmans, very knowledgeable about his job and the company.My water heater, furnace, air conditioner, everything was 22 years old and even though we have never had a problem, Old age was catching up with my equipment fast.I wasn’t going to be in the position of the furnace quitting at 10 below zero in February.He gave me some ballpark figures and said he would work up a quote for me.He also requested that I get some other estimates from the competition.When he left, I started my research on Detroit Furnace.I’ve read a lot of reviews from customers and I looked up everything I could find on the company.I was impressed by what I was reading.I also read reviews from some of the local competition.The more I read and studied, I decided to just go with Detroit Furnace Co.Mitchell called on 31 October and gave me his quote.I told him I was looking no further, Detroit was getting the job.He ask if I was sure I didn’t want to get other quotes and I said yes.He told me there would be 2 crews doing the work.On 2 November a technician name of Mike showed up to do all the measurements, so everything could be made up before the crews arrived.On Tuesday 12 November 2024 the crews arrived around 0915 with all the parts and equipment.The technicians were, Henry, Altin, Rob, Hayden, & Alonzo.The first thing they did was put blankets down on all the floors, main floor, stairwells, basement.One guy started on the water heater, 2 guys were outside on the air conditioning unit, and 2 guys on the furnace.I watched them disassemble everything and haul it up the stairs and outside.My neighbor took most of the old equipment as spare parts for his HVAC system.Then came the job of building back with new equipment.I watched these guys all day off and on, and they worked like a well oiled machine.Nobody screamed or hollered, and no profanity, they worked liked professional tradesmen.Some were explaining to others how the system worked.They worked like they liked what they were doing and liked each other.For me it was a joy watching them.I’ve never seen some of these things done before, so I also learned.I wasn’t checking on them, I just wanted to see how things went together.I am a retired heavy industrial licensed journeyman electrician with 40 years in the trade.I retired from DTE having worked 25 years in the coal fired Saint Clair Power Plant.I know what team work and personalities can do on a job.Their professionalism is to be commended, they are a credit to Detroit Furnace.When they finished, they did their check procedure to make sure everything was working properly.Everything was cleaned up and returned to the proper place.They explained to me all that was done, and ask if I had any questions.They answered the questions I had.I can’t say enough good things about Detroit Furnace these crews were the best.If you’re ever in the market for any of their services, don’t hesitate to call them.To think, this all started with a furnace inspection.Thank you Detroit Furnace and all the tradesmen that I was in contact with.P.S. also the office lady who called me.12 November 2024Gary HockPort Huron, Michigan

    The Crew of Rob and Anthony arrived on a Tuesday on time and in the pouring rain...lol. Both said no problem about rain....done it before. Did a fantastic job....went above and beyond actually.     I had the furnace tech Bobby come out twice to work on my furnace through DTE as they are contractors with DTE. Bobby did an excellent job on my furnace the 1st time he worked on the igniter which caused the furnace not to work. He inform me that the igniter needed the rust sanded off in order for it to work , then he installed a new up to date thermostat. He came out the second time due to the furnace not turn because of the conductor. He investigate the issue and found out it was the conductor wires causing the furnace not to fire up. He explained the issue to me about the two conductor wires not being close to each other was the reason the furnace was not working once he fixed that everything is good now the house is warm.

    I just wanna thank the gentleman who put my hot water tank in. They did a wonderful job they cleaned up. They were polite and I was very grateful that they had put it in as quickly as they could.

    We had a great experience with Perry from Detroit Furnace. He initially came out to inspect our leaking furnace and quickly found the cause. He also helped us with looking into whether or not the issue was covered under a Daikin warranty - it was! After we received the needed parts from Daikin Perry came back out to make the repairs. Perry’s expertise and assistance with looking into our furnace’s warranty saved us a bunch of money!

    I want to comment on my experience with Detroit. Furnace called DTE due to the fact hat my AC went out and I had the home protection plan. Now keep in mind. This unit has been around since 1974 and has done its job. I had the tech Bobby come out. He took a look at it. He tried to do everything possible to get me back up and running. He even came back the next day with some help to try to get it installed. But Hey, it had a good run, so what did I do I had them install me a brand new AC unit. And the service was impeccable.I would highly recommend Detroit, furnace and company in Bobby.Thanks , man

    This was my second experience with Detroit Furnace. Their service notified me at least 20 minutes inadvance of their arrival. They quickly accessed the problem. My first visit approximately a month ago required a replacement part. It was a two visit service call but completed the same day. Today my repair required a new thermostat. Repair completed in about half hour.
