We highly recommend Jay’s Plumbing and Sewer. We discovered tree roots growing out of the PVC pipe into the sump pump in our basement. We asked around on Facebook, and Jay’s Plumbing service came highly recommended. They came and checked it out and serviced our issue perfectly based on our concern! I highly recommend Jay’s Plumbing! We ended up having a pretty large plumbing problem but Jay’s was very knowledgeable and honest about our problem. I spoke with Jerry, who gave me a very decent quote for fixing the valve pipe for my hot water heater. He sent Matt and from his evaluation turned out I needed a few more things done. I had just bought a house a couple months ago and am in need of repairs on gas and plumbing issues. I saw Jays Plumbing and Sewer sign a couple blocks over. After calling 2 or 3 companies and looking at reviews, Jays was the one I went with. Great thing I did. Very reasonable price and the boys,well guys Matt and Josh came yesterday morning and did above and beyond what was estimated. Home Depot where in March I got a brand new stackable washer and dryer, they came 3 different times and would not hook it up. It was one excuse after another. Jay came and said they could change the gas line and call home depot and get my hook up charge back that would do it to. So Matt and Josh got it done even after running to the hardware store because Home Depot did not send all the parts that were supposed to come with. I truly recommend them and if you get Matt and Josh thats an Xtra bonus. Very hard workers and professional. I will use this company again. THANKS TO YOU GUYS I CAN NOW DO LAUNDRY AT HOME AND NOT PAY AT THE LAUNDRY MAT.

I call this guy up and describe my issue and he says well send me a picture which I did.Now he calls me back and says this is a led service line... now already I can hear the calculator crunching numbers its payday for him and I got the check.Then he tells me to call the city because the state government has given the cities a lot of money to fix this issue. Really I said, so I call the city and they replied >>...Yep, now Im on the list and I just got put to the front of the line because Im having issues.He could have made an easy $1200.Thanks for be helpful and honest you now have a client for life.Brian

We have used Jay since we bought our first home 5 years ago. He helped us seamlessly navigate a flood, and ever since he regularly scopes our lines to make sure that there are no dangerous roots. He has unclogged drains, fixed toilets, and even helped install a bidet. Rates are always reasonable, and Jason is professional and always on time. I 100% recommend his services over any of the large, impersonal plumbing companies.

I had a frozen garbage disposal. All of my questions and options were explained very clearly. The plumber was very punctual and worked extremely efficiently. The installation of my new garbage disposal took less than 30 minutes, causing little to no disruption to my morning. Highly recommend!!

I contacted Jay about sewer replacement. He came out the same day and after attempting to snake drain with no luck I decided to have Jay replace the sewer lines, issues with tree roots ! The next day Jay and his crew were out ! Did extensive work. They peeled back a chain link fence, tore a deck down and Jay dug with the backhoe.Once Jay and crew dug through mammoth tree roots, the old clay pipes were replaced with Pvc and dirt was returned to the trench. Such a great man to work with! Jay went over and above his professionalism in helping me! Thank you Jay and thanks to your crew! Great company! I totally recommend! 😃

Showed up at my house an hour after my initial call for a slow to drain shower with a lingering odor, did exactly as I asked and found the root of the problem right away, something my home inspector didn’t even find! Repaired it the same day within hours and even gave a discount for cash payment! Followed up the next day to make sure everything was ok, asked and advised after a lingering smell which they helped with too, it’s gone now!! Guaranteed work for 30 days. If you need plumbing work, Jay is your guy! He came out and diagnosed a problem that another plumber missed. It turned out that we needed our entire sewer line replaced, which is a pretty scary endeavor, especially in our backyard that is only accessible by taking down a portion of our privacy fence and entering through our neighbor’s yard. I was terrified but Jay’s knowledge and experience really helped calm my fears. He is a true expert at what he does! This nightmare project turned from a one day job into a 3 day job and Jay was nothing but professional. He took the time to explain the issues that came up and was extremely fair in the cost. Jay and his hard working crew worked for 3 days in the snow, rain and mud in order to get the job done. This is a crew that you can trust!!

Jay was amazing I contacted him via a friend’s referral. Jay immediately traveled from Warren to Dearborn and he was at my home in less than an hour. He immediately found that our main line had cracked and was sagging. He further showed us great camera shots showing the line displaced from the sewer area Jay then had the problem resolved in less than 4 hours. He explained what he had to do step by step. He made us feel secure with his down home manner. I will refer him to everyone I know. I will also use him for all plumbing issues we may have in the future. He is a fair down to earth honest man. People like him do not come around often.

Jay and Justin were just awesome. Exchanged 2 toilets, 2 faucets, exchanged kitchen sink, disposal, and installed new pipes beneath with new valves where needed. I’ve known Jay as I was an inspector over his jobs for a city; was impressed with his sense of doing a quality job and delivering one. He doesn’t flim flam: when he runs across a problem, you better listen. Both know their stuff. I have used him at the home I moved from and hunted him down for the jobs in my new home. I’m going to have him switch out and upgrade my water heater as well. Considering a tankless water heater. Jay’s Plumbing and Sewer Services is a City Inspector (me) recommended business. I keep his card in my wallet when Homeowners ask if I know of a very good plumber they can use. With Jay you have a very Conscientious contractor, a man of integrity, quality minded, and never slacking in doing things right... and you will get a cost that will shame the hacks whose work he has to come to fix and make right! I will tell you, if for any reason someone rates him with one star, the problem will be with the homeowner, not with Jay. I don’t normally go so all out on ratings but if you knew what I had to live with, Jay was like Superman bursting through the door and so efficiently making the villains go away. My wife and I are grateful for him. A Diamond in the ruff, a big heart of gold and a person with integrity and skill is what you will get. It is what you should get. No worry here!

I called because I had a problem with my basement flooding and Jay and his crew were at my house the next morning right on time. Jay and the first guy that came to my house spent quite a bit of time trying to fix my problem without having to dig up my yard. Unfortunately it was a bigger problem then I expected but the next morning Jay came back out with a bigger crew and they had to dig up my yard but fixedit even when it started sleeting. Cammed, gave an estimate, and excavated and repaired our sewer lines quickly which was great cause i couldnt shower or go to the bathroom without flooding our basement.
