    Rick and his entire team were phenomenal! After doing a sewer scope and realizing we had some major repairs to do to our sewage system, Rick was available to talk through the inspection report and come up with a plan of action over the phone. Once he and his team were on site it was clear that Rick was very knowledgeable and very detailed in his work. He did multiple walk arounds of the property to get a sense of possible solutions for where our new pipes should go and all along the way he explained his thought process and kept me in the loop. Once they began digging and laying in new pipes they were quick and efficient and again very careful with how they went about doing this major repair. I am truly so impressed with Rick and his whole crew. Drain Detectives has been incredible and followed up with me to make sure that everything was completed to my liking and Rick himself came back to the property to make sure that lines were hooked up correctly and that the entire job was totally wrapped up to my satisfaction. I cannot recommend Drain Detectives enough. They have earned their name and are super helpful and get the job done right!

    Adam was friendly, efficient, and answered all the questions I had.     I am so impressed with the speed, efficiency and quick service from Josh and the whole team. They were amazing, and reasonably priced. Other companies I called gave me a lot of runaround. Josh responded with “I’ll be there tomorrow and make sure your fixed”. THATS, the kind of service all companies should offer. I highly recommend them!

    The technician came with very short notice and they solved the sink grease problem within like half an hour. The tech even gave me advices on how to maintain my sink. Very cool, would do business again but i dont even know if ill need them again in a while.

    I called to have worked done on our toilet. I was able to get an appointment right away. The gentlemen was very polite and completed the work efficiently and within a short period of time.     They did a wonderful job! Quick to arrive even after hours and worked really hard to fix our problem with a root in our pipe. When unable to fix through the pipe he set us up within 2 days to have the problem fixed permanently! Dave (I think was his name) was awesome, so nice and informative.     I called at like 7pm got a quick fair price on what I needed done. The plumber came out within 48 hours because it was not an emergency. Each person I spoke with was very polite. The plumber was very quick with replacement and cleaned up after himself. I will definitely use drain detective again if I have any problems.

    I went with Drain Detectives because of great reviews from our neighborhood facebook page. Our kitchen and laundry room drains backed up for the 2nd time in 2 years, we have lived here for 3yrs.I called 2 other places before I came across the Drain Detectives, and the other ones could not come here that day. Drain Detectives found one of there guys that could be here in an hour, and they were $20 cheaper than the other ones.We are Very Pleased with there work, there prices, and how friendly and helpful they are.     This place was phenomenal. Water was backing up into my tub and my toilet wasnt flushing I called them at 10 oclock at night they were there the next morning by 8 AM.They were very communicative about what needed to be done and what the cost would be.     Water heater broke and I called my plumber but they were unable to come out same day so I googled plumbers and Drain Detectives came up first. After reading reviews and saw they were a family run business, I picked up the phone. They were at my house 3 hours later and got the job done! They were courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. And when they gave me an appointment Mike showed up very promptly. They even worked around my work schedule.     Overall no complaints used them for a backed up sump pump discharge. Wasnt the greatest day out and the yard was full of water and raining so couldnt do a full repair just did a temporary repair. Very nice and professional only thing I would say is to tell prices as moving along I was a little shocked at the price when given the bill.

    Dave, the seasoned pro got right down to business as soon as he arrived. He explained exactly what my problem was (sewer drain blocked from house to street) and how he was going to fix it. His assistant hauled down a large power drain cleaning machine and soon my drain was running freely. Total time at my place was probably under 45 minutes. Btw, dispatcher very polite and helpful with my initial call.

    I had called another company and they claimed to have emergency services and their message was that would call back in 15 to 30 min! I waited and nothing. After waiting for a little over an hour i decided to find someone else! I did a google search and found the Drain Detectives. When i called someone actually answered and said they would have their guy call me right away! Less than 10 min i got the call and less than 20 min after that he was at my house! Very nice guy! He was finished in about 30 min and that was it! Great service and very fast! The other company didnt call me till the next day and i told them that Drain Detectives tooK care of it!

    The shut off valves in our house were leaking. The home owner didnt think it would be a big job. Once he got everything taken apart he couldnt get it put together again. I called drain detectives and they were here in 45 minutes. Once the guy drain detective sent got here. He found the problem and fixed it, as well as the pipe blow out that happened once the water was back on. He was friendly yet professional. He was quick and good. They also didnt charge an arm and a leg. I would use drain detective again as well as recommend them.

    I had a very serious issue the day after Thanksgiving with my main sewer drain being blocked. I was unable to do anything that involved water (shower, dishes, laundry, flushing toilets). I called the Drain Detectives first thing in tge morning and they were at my house within half an hour. After investigating the problem it turned out the root cause of the blockage was the roots from the massive tree in my front yard. Due to the severity of the issue I opted for the Water Jetting process. Tim and his partner returned with the jetting machine and camera system and kept at it until they cleaned out every last root from the house to the city main line.I had jetting done years prior by a different company and the Drain Detectives price was significantly lower than what I had paid the other company years earlier. Tim and his partner did a superb job, were friendly, courteous and professional. The next time I need anything done the Drain Detectives are who Im going to call. Ive been in Quality Assurance for over 40 years and know quality workmanship when I see it. Highly recommended.

    Response time for our plumbing issue was excellent. The plumber called me before he was on his way which gave me time to get home from work. I really appreciated that. The plumber diagnosed the problem with our sump pump right away and told us what we needed to do to fix it. I would definitely call them again.

    Staff was friendly and technician called when he said he would. Technician gave a 30 minutes window for arrival time and showed up promptly within stated time. The broken garbage disposal was replaced/ installed at a reasonable cost. Technician also noticed that the faucet was leaking.     Let me start by saying I did a quick Google search early to mid afternoon Saturday, I called every company down the line that stated they were open and no one answered their phone, until I got to Drain Detectives , as soon as Julie answered the phone I let her know that she was my seventh call and she said she gets that a lot. Clearly I wasn’t surprised but happy I didn’t give up. I was very much in a bit of in a crunch, I needed someone out there Monday morning because I am in the process of buying a house that has slow drains and I was worried that there was a root problem since the property has approximately 15 trees around it, they were able to get someone out to me right away Monday morning which was very impressive! And they were on time!, and extremely courteous by removing their shoes at the door. My technicians name was Rick, and after he looked over the problem he assured me roots were not the cause, nothing major at all but I was more than happy to pay for a service call then to be surprised by thousands of dollars in work had it been the case . He was very knowledgeable of the problems that I had, and then I remembered there was a buried machine in the basement so I showed him and he informed me it was an old fashion sumpless pump, and that it was improperly tied into my kitchen stack so if I ever have my kitchen sink backed up there would be no possible way for me to clear through it. I asked Rick for an estimate and hopefully everything goes well with the home and as soon as we purchase it Drain Detectives will be my choice for repair! By the way I was informed that this is a small family owned business and I couldn’t be more pleased to support our local family owned businesses that are rising above and beyond with great service.

    Called due to a sewer blockage problem. JT came out and got on my roof to access the main line and try to unblock the problem. After a camera inspection we saw a belly in the main line coming out of my house and then full of roots beyond that. With having no access to a clean out all that could be done was a replacement of bellied area with a clean out installed. We came to an agreement on the price that included any extra pipe, cleanout installed, water jetting entire main line, camera inspection and a maintenance plan.Weather delayed original day to do repair but came as soon as they could within a few days. Cliff and crew showed up on time and got to work right away. Everybody that was on site was extremely professional and took time to answer any questions i had. Got the job done quickly and never seemed to be in a hurry just to get done, took time to show me camera inspection.     Drain Detectives did a great job repairing my collapsed sewer in the front of my house . Within a day they pulled the proper permits, had miss dig flag the yard and started in the morning on my sewer. I am so glad I hired them because as they were digging up the old collapsed sewer, I noticed the collapsed pipe extended much farther than I thought and for a few moments I thought they would have to dig under the sidewalk and to the road. They dug up old (Probably 1950) large pieces of cement slabs and said these probably sunk down and collapsed the sewer. The front yard was full of dirt, and the skilled machine operator carefully dug the trench in a tiered manner to prevent any chance of it collapsing. After the non-collapsed 6 inch clay pipe was uncovered (near my front sidewalk) they did a clean cut in it, a spiral 6 inch clean out {rod} all the way to the main under the road and installed a stainless steel heavy duty fernco connector to a 6 inch PVC which connected to my home. The pipe was supported well and the city inspector came by and said it was a good job and agreed it was most likely the cement slabs in the original back fill that collapsed the sewer pipe and approved their work. By 1 PM the job was complete with the whole yard remaining grass raked and very clean. It looks like only a mound of dirt on top which will settle over time. with no torn up yard and my grass clean. It was an awesome job. I now have no worries of sewer issues. Hire them, they have the knowledge, equipment, and people. You wont have an issue with manpower or old equipment or shoddy work if you hire them. Their price was consistent with 2 other quotes so they are not high priced at all.

They sent someone out within about 2 hours of my phone call when most other services told me they wouldn’t be able to come until the following day. Living in St. Clair Shores, we are no strangers to sewer cleaning, unfortunately. That being said, believe me when I say this was without a doubt the best job we’ve experienced so far.     A young man came to snake out my main drain, He showed up in a timely fashion. It took an hour or so to snake the drain the first time.     Had a build up and blockage in our laundry sink that was draining way too slow. Tried the hand snake to no avail. They were quick to come out and assessed the problem . Jon was great! I needed a more powerful snake to clear the line! He tested the flow at the laundry sink and in the main drain. Both were working great. He closed everything up and the sink drains fast once more! Will use again!

    I’ve actually used them twice now. Once they replaced my hot water heater and then I had a clogged drain. Both times they were very friendly and were able to come right out and fix the issues. I will 100% use them again!
