He explained every aspect of the work that needed to be done and the price for it, with no hidden fees.He was polite and professional and explained what I may need in the future.     Id give him five stars, but he hasnt been back yet for a promised followup. Im waiting for him to return with better equipment to complete the job.Edit: Andrew was finally able to come back out, after his equipment was ready, and he got all of the remaining roots, an at no extra cost. I admit, I was losing patience, but it was worth the wait. Ive added a star, bringing the total to five, and I highly recommend their services!

    PG Heating is the all around heating and cooling best in Fort Wayne. I scheduled a duct cleaning service with them after Devon D. did my autumn preventative maintenance service, and James P. did an outstanding job. He was incredibly thorough, and took great care to walk me through everything he found and his housekeeping was top notch. I will say, that Ive never had such caring service men. They were extremely professional while also being approachable with my questions. You can tell, that the culture is close and morale in their company is high by the way they conducted themselves and the positive demeanor they had. Long story short, PG went above and beyond to make my house clean and warm, and will be my go-to heating and cooling company indefinitely!

    Leo was very professional polite and down to earth, Leo was straight forward and understanding we got to talking about what I needed he didn’t hesitate to get right to work on getting my family set up with a new furnace that was way past due needed at a fair and reasonable price and the company was fast acting on scheduling the replacement before Leo had even left thank you Leo and everyone at PG for helping my family stay warm and cozy this winter and the many to come!!!! On Thursday Mitch from p&g came and installed our new furnace called before he got here was friendly and efficient not only did he replace our furnace but he done our duck cleaning as well we wanted the wife and I where both at work while he was here he let us know when he was done and everything when I got home the only way I cld tell he was here was our new furnace down stairs!!     Our company (fun)has been struggling with HVAC issues recently, but our budget is limited. So, weve been searching for an experienced HVAC company that can help us resolve the problems as quickly as possible. I decided to give PG Company a call, and to my surprise, they were very enthusiastic and proactive in helping us. After understanding our companys situation, they provided excellent support. I truly hope to establish a long-term partnership with them. Highly recommended!

    My central air conditioning stopped working late Sunday June 16, 2024. I did some research and came across PG Heating Cooling & Plumbing. I found many very positive reviews which prompted my decision to send an email message to PG around 12:30a Monday the 17th. When I woke up at 7:30a I already had a response that they would send a technician to my home (just needed my address). Devin arrived around 12:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. A capacitor needing replaced seemed to be the problem. Devin explained everything he was doing along the way which was very reassuring. He explained that another Technician (Zach) was in the area and he was going to drop off the part. Zach arrived and they installed the new capacitor and my outside unit was again working. Unfortunately before they left Devin was checking area to be sure he didnt leave any tools, and he heard the compressor on the outside unit come to a grinding stop. Devin and Zach spent at least another hour trying to get it going again to no avail.Fast forward to Monday 06/24/2024, Mitchell and Zach arrived about 10am to install a complete furnace and air conditioning system. They finished up around 3:30pm and our home is perfectly comfortable again! Thank you to Technicians..Devin, Zach, and Mitchell for getting us back to the comfort zone in one week. Also Chad (sales rep) was very helpful also!During a time when demand for HVAC service is in super high demand PG was very attentive to our needs and I highly recommend them if you need service or equipment replaced. These guys are top notch!

    5 stars for the thorough job completed. Trainer was meticulous making sure the trainee was on top of everything. Trainee(Alex) did a stupendous job of explaining the procedure and completing the task at hand of cleaning the furnace.Was very pleased and couldnt pass up the awesome maintenance plan they offer.     We can’t praise the team enough at PG Home services. Leo was happy to answer our many questions and did so very quickly. He identified the problems with our HVAC system and recommended affordable replacements for our furnace and AC. The installation team of Mitchell, James and Alex did an excellent job from removal of the old system to installation of new one. They worked well together to get that finished in one day. They were so helpful and considerate throughout the process. We would be happy to have them working in our home any time.

    So our furnace was 30 years old. Starting making a lot of bearing noises. We called PG Heating and Cooling and they were extremely fast sending Leo to diagnose the problem the same day. He was honest, efficient, friendly, and gave us multiple options in how we can resolve the issue. Ultimately, since our furnace was so old we decided to just replace it along with the AC. Chad came by later and he was extremely knowledgeable and nice. We had multiple options and we were impressed with the pricing. We went forward with it and Mitchell and Kyle came and installed the new AC and Furnace in half a day. Very impressed with the skillset and expertise of all these guys! Angie was also very friendly on the phone. Definitely recommend using these guys!

    Mitchell came to install a new furnace this past Friday. Very punctual, professional and informative about the process. Our old furnace gave him trouble not wanting to come out but he was patient and calm and it finally came out. Everything was done in a timely manner and Mitchell made sure everything was good to go and all my questions were answered. We will continue to use PG Heating/Cooling. From the first time I called over the summer we have been taken care of every time and the prices are fair.     The job was in a very difficult area under my home but Andrew wasted no time climbing under and fixing it even though I had another plumber here previously that simply walked out on the job saying it couldnt be done without cutting out my bathroom floor or digging a hole in my yard without giving dimensions for the holes they requested. Andrew was great to deal with. He explained what was going on with my drain pipes and how he planned to fix them definitely put my mind at ease.     Had no problem at all with Andrew and his service. He was very professional and did the job needed. The issue I have is the model used where a quote is given on the spot instead of having a flat rate for services. If it’s an emergency as was the case in my situation, I can’t very well turn away the person there to do the service, no matter what the price. Again, nothing against Andrew and the service he provided but I am not a fan of the pricing model used.Update: spoke with a representative and discussed my concerns about the pricing structure and presentation to the customer. I believe in the future those issues will be refined and improved. Again, reiterating that I did not have an issue with service.

    Nick showed up in the morning for a multi-hour (and complicated!) repair on a boiler system that heats our home. When the job was done, and tested, I was given a warranty. This is the second job PG Heating and Cooling has done for us, and the second home theyve worked on, and a completely different system (the last one was trouble shooting A/C). I am impressed with their many years of experience, and skill - their work looks good and works well. Once again they were highly professional, efficient, and knowledgeable, and I will certainly use them again.

His pricing was competitive - I’m still researching my options for a furnace, air conditioner and air purifier system (for mold, dust…..).     Devon from PG came this time to our home and did a vent /duct cleaning throughout all of our vents in the house, the job takes a few hours but well worth it! He showed me pictures he took of the ^things/fur/doo-dads^ lol he found in the vents and also did a cleaning of the lint trap/dryer vent and showed me all of the lint that was stuck down there 😳… gave me peace of mind knowing everything is clean and clear now. He was very professional, thorough and respectful of the house- made sure to wear booties and carefully move his equipment . Also made sure to answer all of my questions. I reached out last Monday to a few places inquiring about getting a mini-split installed at my business.PG got back to me immediately with email, text, and phone. Gave me a quote within a couple hours.We secured financing and moved forward, from there, Mitchell was our installer.     I am extremely grateful that I found PG Heating and Cooling. Our A/C unit wasnt working properly and they came out at 9pm on a Saturday. They quoted me a great price and were even able to accommodate my work obligation on Wednesday and install it that very Tuesday before I had to leave. Leo was very friendly and knowledgeable and I didnt feel pressured at all. When the technicians came on Tuesday they were super friendly and professional. Nick and Mitch are each incredible technicians and made me feel like I was in good hands.     11/24/24After turning on the heat for the first time a few days ago, we had some trouble with a circuit breaker flipping off and shutting the system down. Devon texted us some possible solutions Saturday night. When those didn’t work, he offered to come out Sunday morning to troubleshoot it. He eventually found the problem and restored our heat on Sunday. We really appreciate Devon’s willingness to give up a Sunday morning to address our problem. He was professional, conscientious, and genial. He also thoroughly explained the problem. Overall, just a great job!******************************************Were having some trouble with a Ruud heat pump that we bought in October, and Jeff has come twice to work on it. He is very friendly and seems determined to figure out the problem.Update: Still having a bit of a problem, but Leo was on it yesterday and did a great job. He was very personable, competent, and totally upfront about everything. When he talked with techsupport, he did so on speakerphone so I could hear everything. Rob made a prompt follow-up call to make sure I was satisfied. Great serviceSecond Update 1.17.24: Couldn’t be happier with Leo’s service. He’s extremely knowledgeable, personable, and patient.     PG came through with promptness and professionalism yet again. Leo did our yearly HVAC inspection and servicing today. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. Seeing as how our unit is less than a year old, he didnt find any issues. He explained how we werent using our humidifier properly and showed me how to correct the issue. Very curteous and respectful to my daughter and pets, which seems to be a reoccurring theme with PG. Once again, I highly recommend PG for any HVAC and plumbing needs. I forgot to leave a review on our water heater replacement, but it was the same theme. Austin came and told me that a new heater would be best due to the age and lack of available parts because it was through Sears. We got a new heater installed that same day.

    I researched water heaters before deciding on which one I would want. Austin help me make that decision. He was very honest in speaking to me about my other choice for a water heater. I have not heard about the water heater that he installed and did some research on that brand.Well it has been about a week since the install and I am very pleased with the water heater that he put in. My bathroom does not steam up with this water heater and the water temperature is excellent. I no longer have to keep turning up the dial to retain hot water during a shower.Austin did an exceptional job installing it. I am very pleased with his work. He was very pleasant to speak with and very professional. Would definitely use this company again.
