I would highly recommend Doc Dancer to anyone!We had a great experience all around from Dale coming out to do the estimate and then Michelle getting us scheduled in so fast.Kyle did our install and I know our old furnace threw them some curve balls but they did a wonderful job and were very nice and very efficient!Our new system is great and they went above and beyond with cleaning up and making sure everything was good to go before they left.

Once I receive his quote, Ill decide if Im going to use Doc Dancer.Update 8/2/23: I did chose Doc Dancer to install my new HVAC system. It was just installed today. I was so impressed with Chris and Jeorge. They were both very professional, kind, and knowledgeable installers. They explained what they were going to do and went to work. They had all the needed. materials with them to do a nice looking install. They cleaned every scrap of mess up and left it looking better than when they arrived. They gave me a walk through of their work when completed and gave me plenty of time for questions. I thoroughly recommend Doc Dancer!Update (8/16/23):Tim Devita came to teach me to use my new Ecobee3 Lite thermostat as well as inspect the installation to ensure it was installed properly. He helped me adjust the thermostat settings so that my A/C is dehumidifing as it should. He took the time to answer my questions and was going to have a manual sent out. He was here 45 minutes to an hour and the humidity is disappearing as I type this review. Tim was on time, very polite, and professional. Service was great!Update 7/19/24Nate Rogers , HVAC tech, came to do the very first yearly maintenance on my AC unit. He was early(office called to make sure it was okay to come early), very professional, efficient, and friendly. He explained each step as he performed it. He cleaned my unit inside and out. Then he took the readings to make sure my unit was working as it should be. He was here approximately 45 minutes. Easy peasy appointment. Thanks Nate!Update 9/5/24Nate Rogers, HVAC tech, was here to do the first yearly maintenance on my furnace. He was on time,, very professional, efficient, and friendly. He explained each step as he performed it. He cleaned and inspected my unit, changed the filter, and then tested to ensure my furnace was working properly. He downloaded the Ecobee App onto my smartphone and taught me how to use it so I can easily control my thermostat via wi-fi. Nate is such a nice young man. Another easy peasy appointment. Ive been very happy with my equipment as well as the maintenance of it.

Job well done. We have a somewhat challenging job to install a gas line for our stove via the attic. Tim did a great job of estimating the work to be done and included a thorough list of materials for the job. We felt he did a comprehensive inspection of the work area and put a lot of thought into how the job would need to be accomplished. The estimate seems fair for the work to be done, so we plan to go with Doc Dancer for the installation.

Daniel from Doc Dancer was at my home today. I wanted to see about doing something to make one of my rooms more comfortable. The room was a lot warmer than all the other rooms when the a/c was running. We discussed options which he thoroughly explained and performed the work. The poor guy had to work in a hot attic working around insulation but he didn’t complain even though his shirt was very wet from sweating. Daniel was awesome! I had been with the same HVAC company for almost 20 years. I have spent a tremendous amount of money with them, especially recently. We decided we needed to add a mini split air conditioner to an upstairs bedroom and I called my HVAC supplier. The salesman came out quoted me an insane price And then didn’t even send me the quote while telling me they really aren’t interested in work like this…I called Doc dancer and one of the owners came out, explained everything, got me a fast quote and did the work within one week! The craftsmanship was beyond reproach. We couldn’t be happier with this. We’re so happy that we are going to have them handle all of our HVAC work. I just wish we had used them for our new furnace and air conditioner that we purchased about eight months ago.

Informed us about rebates and a tax break possibility. Explained the removal and installation process and also a few what ifs. Received the quote in a timely manner. Pricing is very competitive.9/6 Installation went very well. Technicians were polite and were good at what they do. The completed install was checked, explained, and easy to approve.

What I thought was going to be an easy fix turned into an hours long troubleshooting session which found the problem to be a bee hive in the exhaust plumbing that was not allowing the furnace to vent properly. Jennifer was awesome. She was kind and courteous. She went above and beyond just servicing my furnace. She alerted to me that she noticed my hot water heater vent was condensing. We went up to our attic and she discovered it was most likely clogged. She stayed and went to the attic and discovered a birds nest in the vent. She not only helped discover a water issue in my attic, but most importantly a clogged vent will cause a Co backup which is dangerous in any household. Thanks so much Jennifer and Doc Dancer for going above and beyond. She noticed something strange in the mechanical room and brought it to my attention. Who knows what could have happened if that was not discovered. Doc Dancer and Jennifer are the best!

Nate Rogers did a great job fixing our central air unit today. He was very personable, direct and forthright with his assessments and advice. He explained the problem and what needed to be done to fix it. He explained the benefit of being on the Maintenance program and even gave me pricing on a new system since my system is 15 years old. He then walked me downstairs to where the furnace was and also outside to the central air unit and explained how things worked and what he did to fix it. He also walked around the house with me giving me advice on which vents to keep closed and open to maximize the coolness in our upstairs. It was very helpful, educational and I look forward to having Nate come out to service our system in a year from now! Thanks Nate!

Called the company and had someone out at my house in less than 30 min on a Friday afternoon. Ask for Daniel Campos. Super nice but totally focused on getting the job done. Got my 1996 furnace back up and running in less than an hour. Gave me a little tutorial, got some tips to extend the furnace’s life. Company charged me less than $150 for ALL of it.

On December 16, 2024, Sunday morning we awoke to a cold house, the temperature registered 63 degrees Fahrenheit. My husband, Rick called Doc Dancer and waited for a call back before he was informed it would cost $200-$400 to have a Technician come out on Sunday morning or wait until normal business hours on Monday where it would cost about $79(?) for the Technician to come out.Now, as Rick is a local Church Pastor, who leads a Church Worship Service at 10:00 am., I stayed home and followed up communicating with Doc Dancer. Rick gave me the name and phone number of the Technician, Miguel and asked me to call him with our decision. By now the temperature was 62 degrees Fahrenheit.I know Miguel, as he has serviced our HVAC unit in the years since it was installed. He is warm, knowledgeable and a great communicator. So I called and informed him we would tough it out until Monday morning due to the cost involved.When we spoke he was surprised that I would choose to wait until Monday morning to have the HVAC serviced and get heat in our home. He informed me that he could come out Sunday morning at no charge, to which I agreed. I was stunned and texted Rick who had already begun the Church Service and informed him.As it turns out, Rick was perplexed/ ecstatic and phoned me at home ( to confirm what I had texted) in front of the church congregation! He asked me to repeat that Miguel would come out to our home and work on the furnace, at no cost to us (parts?).Needless to say we invited Miguel out and he arrived after 11:00 am and worked tirelessly for a long time working to resolve the problems. It was wet, cold and raining and he had to work on the unit outside of my home as well as the HVAC inside the house. He replaced fuses and as he said, there was no charge. As he worked, our home was beginning to warm up and before he left at 12:30 pm it was a toasty 67 degrees Fahrenheit.We love Miguel because he is conscientious and shows he cares. He asks questions, listens well and does what he does best which is to troubleshoot and persist until he completely resolves all issues he comes upon.The reason this service was completed at no charge is that when we purchased the new HVAC system through Doc Dancer, it has a ten year warranty. We also pay for Servicing with Doc Dancer and they come out two times a year. I buy furnace filters and they replace for us as needed.We are very happy with Doc Dancer and we love working with Miguel.

Nearly the whole process was smooth and friendly. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and patient in explaining our options to us. We had our AC go out on a weekend, and waited until Monday to call Doc Dancer, which seemed to come highly recommended. They were very prompt and sent out a technician that day. They also send a notice every time a tech is about to arrive telling you his name with his picture, which is a nice touch for both sides. I highly recommend them.The only suggestion I have for improvement is the layout and presentation of the new HVAC system. It was difficult to read with the grid layout, and because the text color to background contrast wasnt sufficient, some of it wasnt legible. We arent color blind, but certainly for the 30% or so of the American population that is, they wouldnt have a chance of reading it. Maybe try one of the online color contrast analyzers, and take a stab at a new layout. I know thats tough and takes time, but it was the only part of the whole thing from the tech coming to look on Monday to having a new system installed on Wednesday that wasnt a smooth process.But thats minor, because the tech Chris was happy to explain things and answer questions to fill in the gap in communication. The other two techs who came and did the installation, and a third that came the day after to tighten up some screws when too much water was coming out were all great guys. I do highly recommend Doc Dancer, and we will go with them for our HVAC needs!

We use Doc Dancer to service our AC and furnace every year. Our AC went out this week so we called to get it fixed. They come out the same day, and the tech found a minor mistake from the previous visit. Because of that, they fixed everything for free. I know its the right thing to do, but I have no idea about that stuff and they could have charged me and I would not have know any different. The tech realized the mistake and called the office right away. It is always hard to know if your are being treated fairly or not. Doc Dancer took it upon themselves to do the right thing and it felt really great. THANKS!

I had Doc Dancer clean my house ducts. Man, did they do a great job! It had been a long time since I had had the ducts cleaned. And the prior company didnt get to them all. Doc Dancer sure did. Lots of pics to show the improvement as well.After this, they put in two complete HVAC systems. I go the top of the line system for my main house and a budget one for a single room addition. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. Im really happy with my two new systems. And the price was nice. We had this VERY old electric furnace that was incredibly expensive to use. We worked with NIPSCO and Doc Dancer to get a gas line installed into our house and a new furnace and humidifier in our home. Dale at Doc Dancer was fantastic. We ran into an issue with the drainage pipe for the humidifier wasnt actually draining. Called their emergency number and received a prompt response from Jason and we diagnosed using video chat (the awesome part of technology). He came out early the next morning to address. At that time, we let him know that we no longer had hot water. He was able to fix the hot water issue (it wasnt getting power) and her reran the drainage line. While there have been some hiccups, I received the best customer service from each of the people I interacted with and am super pleased with my choice!!! Thanks Dale, Jason, and Fritz!

We received exceptional service from the team at Doc Dancer. We recently purchased a home in South West Fort Wayne and moved in earlier this week. The AC system that came with house was shot. Doc Dancer was able to replace the entire system at a reasonable price. We first met their field agent on Tuesday of this week and by the end of Thursday every was installed and working. We have had nothing but cool nights since.*UPDATE*Our AC stopped blowing cold air a couple of Fridays ago. I discovered this after coming home from work around 5:30. I called and their office was already closed but I was still able to reach an after hours dispatcher. They had someone out to my house in under an hour. He knew exactly what he was doing and was able to replace a burned out component on the unit outside of the house. He was finished within half hour if getting here and the problem was solved. December 24 Update: Thanks Robert for doing our winter service. When we bought this house in 2014, it had an all electric heat pump for both heating and cooling. A few years later, we had Doc Dancer install a new heat pump and have been faithfully renewing our SAE which includes two maintenance appointments each year. All was good and we renewed for 2025!August 24 Update:Tim was the tech who did our SAE this time and again another excellent job!Fall 2023 Update:Daniel did our Fall SAE tune-up and we reviewed why we had some issues a few weeks ago. Apparently I had used a filter that was too restrictive for air flow and was that was making the blower work too hard. Took Daniels recommendations for filters and also his recommendation turning the system off and on. Renewed our SAE of 2024 and continue to be very happy! Heres some of our previous experiences:Craig did a fantastic job of doing our Fall Tune up as part of our Annual Safety and Efficiency Agreement with have with Doc Dancer. We also have a quote from Dale so when our old heat pump needs to be replaced, we will be ready. UPDATE: We had our 20 year old Heat Pump system replaced this summer and Dale did a wonderful job of finding the right system to take care of both our heating and cooling needs for a couple more decades. The crew worked two days to remove and replace our old set up which was tucked in our crawlspace with less than 20 inches of clearance. Call Dale before you need them like I did. Crystal also gets a high 5 for getting us approved for interest free financing. Bill and Nancy, kudos for hiring the best team!Summer 2019 Update: With the new Heat Pump we had installed in 2018, it included two additional Tune Ups for 2019. This morning Erin called me to schedule our summer maintenance and to take care of the problem and all was taken care of at no extra charge under our annual service plan! Seth Peterson was our tech for our problem with our mini-split. He diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it the same week. The problem with fixing it the same day was that he had to order a control board from the manufacturer, which came in two days later. He came out the day they received the control board, replaced the bad one and the system is now working fine!
