    Mr. Rooter is the best plumbing company in Fort Wayne. Its rare to call a business and have the owner answer the phone. Jake came out to install a beautiful sink and garbage disposal in my kitchen. I was unsure about the style and measurements, but after discussing my needs with him, he understood exactly what I wanted, and the result looks amazing!

    Jake came out and fixed the train wreck of a kitchen plumbing. The original plumbing was all wrong, so not only did he get everything working correctly, he gave us tips and tricks on how to maintain them. He was super cool to talk to also. You’re in good hands with Jake.

    Although my service request was outside of normal business hours, on Sunday, that warranted addtional costs, sometimes it is worth it. Case, our technician, arrived later than scheduled, but another customers need required more time and he was nearby. Honestly, just having him arrive and complete the work within a short amount of time just before the holidays was well worth it. The guarantee and check back within the next few days was also reassuring. He provided additional information regarding other work we envisioned, so we are very satisfied.

    Called homeserv with an emergency plumbing issue. They dispatched Mr.Rooter and they showed up within an hour an a half of my call. They stayed all day until job was done. Explained everything throughout the process on what he was doing and what the problems were. Very impressed would use again.     Jake and Cory were ABSOLUTELY fantastic.They knew exactly what they were saying and doing. Showed me every step of the way what they were doing and why, and could back it up with reality instead of fear mongering like the other three companies I talked to about my sewer backup.Fixed it in less than an hour where other companies demanded I needed a full replacement upwards of $6-7k.He showed me where they were wrong and why.

    So happy with the service we received today. We had a clogged sump pump drain. Brian came out and did an excellent job! He pulled some large pieces of roots out of the drain, gave us some good advice for the future, and left us up and running! About 90 mins and he had us unclogged. Highly recommend Brian and Mr Rooter.

    Drain clog backed up into the kitchen sink Sunday evening, called to make an appointment for Monday the next day. Super nice person when I called, and easy to schedule.They made sure to call me Monday morning that we were still good for the appointment, and again when the tech was headed my way. Awesome communication to keep me up-to-date.The Tech, Cade, was great, answered questions, and made sure to clean up anything pulled from the blockage. All in all, took maybe 30-45 minutes total from start to finish, and took care of the clog about 25 from the kitchen drain. Checked for leaks, and put everything put back together.

    Requested a call for service on Sunday evening for Monday morning, and got a call first thing in the morning. Dave was able to come out right away and get our kitchen draining again. Dave was very professional, friendly, and did an amazing job!     Dave was completely honest and open about what needed to be done to repair my sewer line and install a new hose bib. He and Chris came out to complete the repair exactly when they sad they would and were the utmost professionals.     Even though they have a system to have an associate call you to setup an estimate I never received a phone call. I had to wait for my schedule to die down to call them to setup an appointment. However the plumbers were great and got the job done and we are waiting for them to reach out to setup the camera inspection.

    I have had root problems in my sewer line for a few years, Dave came out late winter and recommended that we replace the second half of the line. My family was stressed after having another plummer come out and say that we need our yard completely dug up with all new pipes (talking thousands of dollars that we didnt have after buying our home).     Brian the technician that came out on Saturday and tried to get my line open was great. Unfortunately the line had a major issue.     I don’t write many reviews but felt compelled to give Mr. Rooter an A+ rating. We had a cracked water backup pipe outside our house that needed repaired. Every interaction I had with Mr. Rooter was top notch. Scheduling was a breeze, Josh arrived right on time, and was incredibly thorough, professional and friendly. He did an outstanding job at a fair price, and also conducted a complimentary plumbing check throughout the rest of the house. I will absolutely use this company again and would recommend to others.

    The technician Leroy showed up and was very professional. The initial visit and professional opinion was free of charge. Within no time we knew the root of the problem and they offered their services at an extremely reasonable rate. The job was extensive between running the snake, using a device to locate break in line below the slab foundation, removing old water heater, busting up slab in two rooms, digging under the house down finding the bad section, repairing section, pouring concrete, hooking up new water heater. Not to mention all the invaluable information I gained from just talking to him about different plumbing concerns. They did not charge hourly and that worked in my favor considering the tech was here 3 full days more or less. Our street is being worked on and they could not park close to the house but never once complained or skimped on heavy tools need to perform job. Although Leroy was in charge, his boss/owner came out a few times to assist and offer a hand. Larry the owner/ boss was polite and professional as well. You can tell that his values are also those of the people he hires and trust to take care of their customers. They reassured us that a permanent fix was their goal and not just a patch job. They were genuine, and wanted what was best for us. I highly recommend Mr. Rooter to anyone who wants great service and professional who dont cut corners.

    We called three places in fort wayne and all of them said no they were booked, then we got ahold of Mr. Rooter. They put us on the emergency list and said it would be an extra charge(we are fine with this since they actually tried to get us in). Then, our plumber actually got done early with his other job and was able to get there before the emergency time (5pm) and repair our leaking fridges water pipe that had been agitated to leak even more when our new fridge got hooked up (by a seperate company who left us hanging).     I called last Thursday after hours and was scheduled for the following Tuesday 1230-3. At about 1130 I got the first call updating me when the technician would be here which would be about 1-130. About 1245 I got a second call that technician would be here about 115. Sure enough, technician was here on time. Came in, checked the drain(laundry drain), took a few pictures, gave quote and got right to work. He got it done rather quickly. Inspected our valves to washer and our main shut off valve. Hes going to send estimates to have them replaced since they are getting older. Wasnt pushy about additional work at, just explained the whys and that hell send some estimates. Very polite and professional from the first call, the office calls, and the technician. Communication was great as well. It was nice to be kept in the loop to when tech would be here and not have wonder. Thank you Mr Rooter employees! Back to doing my laundry!

    Very efficient, kind and professional, gave a 90 day guarantee to come back for free if any problems arise from work done. I will always use their service for my lifetime, which in the past, paid for a lifetime warranty when it was available and saved money. My house of over 60 years has had many problems with plumbing so it was worth the past purchase to save money. They are a very trustworthy company and very reliable. When I called them today, they came immediately to attend to my plumbing needs.

    PSA: never use draino. Plumbers hate draino. If you do use it, flush with hot water for 45 minutes. Instead, use an active bacteria or enzyme pipe cleaner, its a once a month treatment. I used draino and let it sit too long, when I ran water it dripped through the ceiling into the kitchen. I called 3 other plumbers but Mr. Rooter came immediately. Josh came and saved me $250 by not cutting the ceiling and just letting my husband do it when he got home. Brian came 2 days later and fixed everything for way less $$ than I anticipated. Brian also gave me a ton of tips for keeping the plumbing healthy in the whole (90 yr old) house. Im extremely thankful for everything the guys did and will definitely call them again in the future if needed.

    Ben is the BEST plumber they have at Mr. Rooter. We’ve had other plumbers come to our home but, none are as good as Ben. Ben is very friendly, courtesy, professional, and goes out of his way to get the job done. We had Dave come unclog our toilet once and he was unfriendly, and unprofessional. We ask for Ben every time we have a plumbing need. As long as Ben is employed with Mr. Rooter we will always use your services.

    We called 7 of the major plumbers in Fort Wayne to come out for an emergency plumbing situation on a weekend, and Mr. Rooter had the lowest fee by far! Cade was couteous, professional, and sympathetic of our situation, and a pleasure to have in our house.     Had a technician named Josh who wore shoe covers and he brings a mat to wipe his boots. Much more professional than Rolph Griffin.     Our sewer backed up into the house one evening, which was the last thing we wanted to deal with of course. My dad is a plumber and has always done our plumbing work for us, but this job was too big for him. Ive never had to hire a plumber, so just started calling 24 hr sewer/plumbing companies and left messages. Mr. Rooter was the only one to actually answer us and they were able to get someone out that night which was great.Our service tech was Josh and he worked on the issue for several hours that night, trying everything he could from inside but it ended up needing to be fixed from the outside. He was friendly and knowledgeable and explained what he had done up to that point and what the plan was for the morning.He showed up early the next morning at the time expected and got to work again right away. It ended up being a major fix with lots of digging but he and his helper worked so hard to get it taken care of for us. We were so impressed with Josh and everyone we interacted with from the company. Our experience with them was great from start to finish. I would guess they arent the cheapest in town but we would use them again with no hesitation.
