    I do not get upset when I need a plumber, because all I have to do is call Mike Douglas. I called them today at 9:00 am because my water heater needed to be replaced. At 3:15 pm I had a new water heater. I have used them twice before for different problems and they are consistently excellent and reasonable. Thank you Mike Douglass for being so good at what you do.

    Very happy with my first experience !!! They answered the phone quickly, they transferred me, the other person picked up quickly, Appointment was set, Tech called prior to arriving, arrived early, He was honest, and told me, that one item did not need to be replaced, He replaced a water valve quickly.     I had a problem with the toilets backing up and slow draining in the showers and kitchen sink. I called Mike Douglass Plumbing and they immediately called me back. They came out the next morning and snaked the drains, but advised that there are tree roots in the pipes. They advised the next step and submitted a proposal for my review, which I accepted. They came out and performed the service they outlined in their proposal. After the work was done, James advised me of what they had done and explained how the roots became ingrown in the PVC piping. I have used them in the past and have always been satisfied with their prompt service. I highly recommend Mike Douglass Plumbing!!

    I had a blocked toilet and had called a differant Plummer who blew off the appointment and came the following morning and without trying from inside he said he had to go on the roof and it was going to cost over $650.00 +++ dollars he had a very bad attitude. I told him I could not afford it. It was the best thing I could have done. I called Mike Douglass and Ken was at my door inside of 2 hours and with a smile. He said it would be $129 if he could fix it from inside or 100 more if he went on the roof. I said yes. He scoped the toilet found the blockage and cleared it out. To top it all off I had paid him by mistake too much and he came back to return it to me. I can’t say enough about how l feel about this company and the plumber. I will be using them from now on.

    We have been using Mike Douglas for over 10 years and never a bad experience. But today we had an exceptional experience with Stephen a plumber of there who permanently fixed a problem we have been dealing with due to our corrosive well water. Mike Douglas stood by their warrany offer and fixed it with no money out of pocket today. Thank you, highly recommend them and especially Stephen! He even managed to finagle the fix though the medicine cabinet hole instead of cutting wall out, which for him would of been much easier way to fix it! He was great thank you

    I had an emergency this morning where my backflow had been damaged and we had no water. I was a new client and they were out here within an hour and a half fixed it for an extremely reasonable price And everything is working wonderfully I cannot thank them enough. The tech never took out a tool but quoted me a price from computer of 4 o 5 times your charge because he believed a whole wall had to be opened and New plumbing run throughout.Thank you very much.

    With the emergency flooding your team responded rapidly. Once Josh was on-site he quickly understood the situation was not in his scope of work and quickly requested assistance of Matt. Matts work was spot on, quickly was able to decide issue, performed leak detection to locate the problem and make a stop-gap repair to get out house water and offer his expertise for our next options. Kudos to both Josh and especially Matt - skilled, professional, and pleasant personality in a trying time for my wife and I.

    Our house we recently purchased was built in 1968. Our washing machine started backing up. Another plumbing service came out and jetted our main drain to try and fix the issue. They found a long crack in the main cast iron pipe drain. They wanted to dig up the iron pipe from inside our house which would require to rip out the floor the length of the drain pipe. Instead we contacted Mike Douglas plumbing to see about lining the drain pipe. We researched Mike Douglas plumbing and found lots of good reviews. They quoted a price and said no matter what happens that is the price. They lined all the pipes with the exception of the washing machine drain lateral which collapsed during their fix. Instead of lining that part they now had to run a new lateral from the washing machine outside, around the house, and to the septic tank about 70 feet away. When all said and done the price remained the same as the original quote even though they had that extra work to do. I highly recommend them.

    After experiencing our second copper pipe pressure line failure in the past year, my wife and I realized it was time for the dreaded repipe of our home. After speaking with, and considering other plumbing contractors, my husband and I chose Mike Douglass Plumbing. We were impressed by the knowledge and attention to detail of Matt, the Service and Repipe Manager, who visited our home and provided the job quote. The repipe was scheduled for yesterday and was completed in one day. Mike Douglass Plumbing exceeded our expectations in all aspects of the job. The workers arrived on time, introduced themselves and were very pleasant to talk with. They looked over the work to be completed, made a plan on how to best do the job, covered our floors with blankets and commenced the work. They worked steady throughout the day, crawling thru the attic, squeezing thru cabinets, installing all new Pex plumbing, brass shutoff valves and stainless supply lines. Upon completion, they cleaned all the areas they worked in, touched up paint where needed, pressure checked the system and were done. Thank you Anthony and Mike of Mike Douglass Plumbing, Great Job!

    Our 44 year old condo in Sarasota had cracked and crumbling cast iron drains that needed expert attention. Frankie from MDP looked down the pipes with a video camera and showed me the damage that acidic Florida soil has done to the pipe work. They sent Chris and his crew to clean and line the pipes and I am so glad they did. I have a lot of piece of mind now knowing these pipes will structurally sound for the next 30+ years. Chris performed endoscopic surgery on these pipes with a variety of specialized tools and cameras. His skill and attention was so detail oriented. Chris and MDP is now my plumber of choice.     My property had a plumbing insurance inspector camera scoop my lines and tell me that I had a hole / crack in one of my 45* lines. This inspector did say he was not a certified plumber but only an inspector.I contacted Mike Douglass Plumbing for a TRUE professional inspection of the property and a camera scooping of the plumbing lines.Today Frankie and Mike came to the property to do the inspection, and who also gave me a curtesy call before showing up to the appointment, they did the inspection of my property, showing me everything they saw and explaining every step of the inspection.These two men were so PROFESSINAL to me during their inspection of the property.The true inspection showed that NO damage (hole/ crack) to any of my lines and that no corrects were needed.I would truly recommend Frankie and Mike for any of your future plumbing needs as I can tell you I will if needed.Thank you Frankie and Mike!
