Garvin was excellent as always. As a landlord who no longer lives in Denver, yet still has rental properties there - it is important to me to have contractors who are professional, provide excellent service, are quick to act and dont charge an arm and a leg for their services. Garvin fits that criterial to a T. One of my tenants had a sewer line stoppage and Garvin was able to be out within 2 hours of my initial phone call. The service technician was professional and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Garvin.

I was very happy with Garvins Plumbing and Jon Mac in particular. Someone always answers the phone when you call the main office, which is not always the case. Even though I had a non-emergent issue, plumber Jon came the next morning. Some companies make you join a plan or pay an extra fee to get quick service, but Garvins does not. He made a needed fix to a very old unique style toilet that I have. I realized a few days later that only one of the issues was fixed, so he came right back. This time, he realized that a part I needed had been discontinued and was not available, but he was able to use a part from a different plumbing brand to make it work. It avoided me having to replace the toilet and was much appreciated. Very happy with them.

Had basement toilet back upon Sunday night about 8. Emailed them a service request for first available for Monday. Seth from Garvins calls me and shows up at my doorstep less than 12 hours later. Seth solved my problem very quickly and efficiently. Great tech and great Company to work with! No wonder Garvins has been around since 1940, it’s because they care and they deliver results. I called Garvin’s to get a second opinion on a costly repair another plumbing company suggested after failing to fix my clogged kitchen sink. Our technician Caleb H came out that same day and was fantastic. He was able to show me the issue before and after he was able to resolve it, and explained everything throughout the process. We had Seth come to our home to clear the main sewer line and the kitchen sink line. Historically, since Chuck used to work there, we have used Garvins to clear the mainline to the street for many consecutive years because of cottonwood tree roots that would cause backups.Seth is amazing. This was my first experience with Garvins and it was excellent! The woman who scheduled the appointment was very nice and she scheduled my service call on the same day that I called. (Another company wanted me to wait 3 days.) The Tech (Wes) called in advance and was actually a little early. He was nice and he clearly knew what he was doing. Main Sewer line was snaked and flowing nicely! Yay!

Jon Mac is a great talented plumber and a very good communicator. I had 3 separate plumber visits from another “Heating Cooling Plumbing Drain” company to diagnose my kitchen sink drain that was backed up. They finally offered an estimate to bypass the grease trap for $10,606. On the advice of my friend Tom, I called Garvin Sewer Services and spoke with the manager, Mitch. He listened and commiserated with me about my problem. He sent Jon Mac to my house. I explained what the previous plumber had said, and he suggested another snake because he had trust issues with other plumbers. It cost $150 for the snake process, and that fixed the drain problem. He said there was no grease trap. Good job, Jon! Thanks for saving me $10,456.

Simply excellent. The tec was on time, even called me to say he was on the way. I had a pretty bad leak coming from somewhere, the tec was able to locate the source of the leak, and after cutting thru some drywall and removing insulation to get to the source of the leak, my problem was fixed.Garvins was recommended to me by a co-worker so I did not hesitate to call. Once I informed Kai (sp?) over the phone what my problem was, he expedited the service to the next day which was greatly appreciated.I cant say enough good things about the tec and the phone support, The service from Garvins was fantastic!

Garvins is a wonderful company. Everybody has been friendly from the front desk person who makes the appointments to all the plumbers who have come to our house for different issues. In August 2024 James B replaced the whole plumbing stack and the plumbing for a bathroom remodel. He walked me through exactly what he was replacing and gave me an estimate of how much it was going to cost. Seth came out on 8/20 and did a sewer clean, snaked the sewer and the drain on the basement floor. Also in April 2024 we had Garvins come out to unclog a clog we had in the bathroom. I am so happy with their work that they will be the only plumbing company I will ever use. The pricing is great and they do a great job.

They persevered with determination and professionalism and got the job done at a very fair price. Id hire them again, no question. If I could, Id give them 4.9 stars. The only suggestion Id give is for them to remember to bring in (or ask to use) a step ladder, which is safer than borrowing chair to reach a pipe.

Stephen and Kai came out, did troubleshooting, climbed around in our attic to repair it, and then cleaned up and made sure everything was back in working order. Stephen also thought to take photos to document the issue, and explained everything clearly so wed understand what had happened and what to watch for. They were timely, efficient, and so kind and courteous! The pricing was affordable and Im so grateful to have my water heater up and running again.

After 25 days my sink drain clogged up again due to hot water melting the remaining grease in the pipes after the last cleaning. This was an expected possibility. Jarrid came back again to fix the problem. Garvins was very fast to respond to my call and they were able to fix my drain in less than 24 hrs after the clog. Jarrid does great work, is very personable and does a great job of cleanup when he is done. Ive used Garvins for at least the past 12 years and you can count on them to do a great job.

They picked up a water heater for us that we purchased, came by and had it installed in a few issues. The tech arrived in time to run a water line to a new refrigerator and to give us an estimate on some other work to get our lower level bathroom operational again.We ended up removing a sump pump, installing a sewage ejector and getting an estimate to have a new toilet and water heater installed.As a woman working from home alone, I felt very safe having the plumber here to get the repairs done. He was respectful, courteous, professional and communicative. Our house is older and that can complicate things but our tech was able to provide details in an easy to understand way.Very excited to have found Garvin’s and am looking forward to our upcoming projects.

The good news is that our house has had only one sewer issue in the past, and the even better news is that we now know about Garvins. When we called a few weeks ago with a sewer emergency, Garvins managed to send one of their techs late in the day. Although the blockage was too large for him to clear with the only equipment he had, he stayed and tried till it was apparent more firepower was needed. James contacted me that he showed up a little early. So I gave him the code to get into the house. A week ago I used the services of another plumbing company which charged over $450 to snake my sewer line. 6 days later the line had backed up again, this time with no drainage whatsoever. A friend suggested Garvins and they sent Nick out within an hour.He worked diligently for 2 hours using different techniques which the previous company hadnt even attempted. He got the line cleared and said we are good to go...The previous company wanted over $300 for a camera to scope the line, on top of the $450. Garvins charged $198 and said there was no need for a camera at this time. Over $250 in savings and with a positive result.Its great to see that there are still companies out there which are not trying to screw the customer and offer first-rate services and technicians to address the issue. We own a triplex in Lakewood and have had two drain emergencies in the past year, one involving a clogged mainline and one involving a clogged line running from a unit to the mainline. On both occasions, Garvins had a technician at our property within 2 hours of our initial call. The most recent (May 9, 2023) involved a clogged line that could have been accessed by removing the toilet, but instead Dennis took the initiative to take his snake into the crawl space below the unit, where he located a clean out plug under the building and successfully cleared the line (roots) from that access point. Additionally, when he discovered gray water had pooled in the crawl space due to the back-up, he took his shop vac under the unit and did a good job in cleaning up the mess. He was professional, courteous and knowledgable. We will always call Garvins when we have any issues with our properties. And their pricing is very fair for the quality service they provide. I wanted to say thank you to Chris Walter and Grayson. I called Garvins yesterday to schedule a small leak repair. Grayson was able to help expedite scheduling. Chris Walter is the tech that fixed the Pex pipe leak earlier today, and he was fantastic. Not only was he knowledgeable, he was also professional, courteous, and explained the process of how they would repair the leak quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Garvins to anyone needing plumbing services. Excellent job.
