Can you imagine a bathroom with only 1 outlet? Perhaps you wouldn’t think twice about it, but as a woman who uses multiple hair tools, plug in air freshener fragrances, supplement lightening, always needs to charge her phone, etc. it was a nightmare! SKK electric added an additional receptacle in the bathroom and now everything makes sense in my world. 😌 No more running ugly extension cords across the floor. I’m a happy lady… with a more functional bathroom. 5 stars!

Shawn has been the most reliable and excellent electrician I have ever encountered. He responded right away when a tree took out our power line, and even coordinated to have the tree removed, the lawn maintained, the breaker and meter and other electrical equipment restored, and the energy company to reconnect the power within a day. He takes care of the people of Durham and does his work with integrity. He will always be my first call with electrical issues, and I cannot recommend him enough.

Shawn responded same day to an issue I was having after Tropical Storm Debbie even though I know he was extremely busy. He took the time to carefully identify what was causing my tripped breaker through process of elimination. I am so relieved he did - he found a long standing problem that had been exacerbated by the storm and could have caused a house fire had it continued. Shawn is great about explaining things as he finds them so you can understand exactly what is needed to fix the issues. Will definitely call again.

My mom’s water heater went bad and she wanted to upgrade to an electric water heater, so she needed new power for it. He came and looked at our current panel box on the first day and made a game plan and came back the next day and did everything to get our box up to date. All we had to do was wait for the water heater to get installed and then he came back that same day to connect power to the water heater. And he explained everything while doing it. If your looking for an electrician I’d highly recommend.

Top notch response and service. Called SKK at 4 in the afternoon on a Friday after a tropical storm and he was there by 6 from Durham to Creedmoor. Spent about twenty minuets at my house and had the problem solved. Definitely a happy and will be a repeat customer in the future. Cant imagine going with anyone else. Responsive, Affordable, and Professional what more could you want.

So i asked him to deal with another more difficult problem that had been troubling me for years. He came back and fixed that one too in very little time, while explaining and instructing, as i asked questions and got educated. Ill call Sean everytime i need electrical work from here on in.

Do you just need a go-to electrician that you have saved in your phone? I do, and SKK Electric LLC is everything youre looking for in an electrician. I called them this morning for some broken outlets after this last severe thunderstorm. They had an opening same day, and were at our house in about an hour, and were so kind and professional.They are extremely knowledgeable, and diagnosed the problem right away. Then, we asked them last minute, what their prices were on new outlets, and the prices were so good we asked them to schedule right away. They ended up squeezing in that job as well, so by noon, Id found this electrician, called them, they fixed everything broken, AND put in something weve been wanting since we bought the house 3 years ago.Yall have earned yourselves another regular customer, Im blown away. Fast, efficient, and highly knowledgable! These gentleman quickly diagnosed an issue with my wiring where several of my light switches weren’t functioning correctly. They even went above and beyond and re-wired some of the existing switches to ensure longevity at no extra cost! Truly A+ service, and if I ever need additional electrician services (hopefully I won’t) they’ll be the first I call.

Shawn with SKK Electric is wonderful. Called him on Tuesday he came out and assessed work that morning. Scheduled for next morning and work was completed by noon the next day! Professional and courteous. Power was out to parts of my house, scary stuff! My house is over 100 years old and challenging. Electrical line was buried in dirt no conduit and not wired to breaker but to a hot water heater. Replaced line and wired correctly to breaker box. Had them do quite a few other things as well.Very pleased!They will be my go to for all future Electrical work! There will be more!

I called Shawn on a Friday evening around 5 p.m. My needs werent emergent by any means, but I was looking for someone who could come as quickly as possible. He scheduled me for the next morning at 11. Unfortunately, he ended up having an issue and called me as soon as he could on Saturday morning trying to work something out. Because he had communicated with me, I told him Monday was just fine. Monday, Shawn followed up with me, verified what I needed and asked when I would be home from work. His team arrived early, they were respectful, they were personable, and they were quick.As it is relevant to the review, I just needed an electrician to show a company that my wiring was not the problem so I could make a warranty claim. His team understood my situation and helped me take pictures to further prove to the warranty folks that an electrician did indeed check my wiring.If I have any future electrical needs, Shawn and team will be my go to. Call them. He will work with you and you wont be disappointed.

Shawn and his team added a sub-panel to my basement office and when I asked if they could also run power outside to where I was installing a sauna, they said no problem. Long story short, the sauna build and installation was a bit of a nightmare with the sauna company providing incorrect manuals for every aspect of what was needed. Shawn and the team had to do a lot of their own research to figure out the heater, lights, etc. (since the manuals were of little help) and literally finished up the project late in the evening during pouring rain and tornado warnings to get my sauna working! As Im sweating in the sauna during the cold winter, Ill be forever grateful for SKK Electric!

First tech wasnt able to get to the problem despite a few hours of searching, checking various things. I needed an outlet installed on the exterior of my home. After doing a Google search and reading the reviews for several companies, I decided to go with SKK Electric LLC (the company has all 5 star reviews). My first impression of the electrician who came out was that he was super personable and friendly. My kids were very curious about the process and started to hover over him. Before I had a chance to apologize and tell them to move along, he turned around and said, I know that youre curious, but electrical work can be very dangerous so you should stand further away. I was blown away! He couldve had a totally different attitude, yet he used this as a teachable moment for them. Im extremely happy with the work that was done, but the level of customer service is what sold me. I will definitely use their services for future work - which will be a lot, as I need to renovate a home that was built in the 1950s.

Quick response, replaced some LED pop lights that went bad in the open kitchen. I knew from neighbors we couldnt get matching lights anymore as they stopped selling that brand and the whole house has the same lights, they were able to swap out from upstairs in an isolated spot, gave a very fair price for the extra effort they had to do. Super happy to keep matching lights in my open space. Felt they were fair, honest and professional, so plan to call them soon to install ceiling fans.
