Ive been using Bryant-Durham to service my HVAC system for over 5 years and they do a great job. The customer service reps who answer the phone and schedule are quite responsive as well as the technicians they send out. As a company, they are quite knowledgable and have always been able respond to, diagnose and solve any problems. This week we worked with Michelle who scheduled us quickly as we needed help and Eric C. who was the technician assigned to service our HVAC system. He went above and beyond (including working in the rain) to make sure he resolved our issue. I highly recommend Bryant-Durham Services.

While at my house to fix a separate issue, my technician, Dwayne, was also happy to give me a quote and install an entire generator receptacle and circuit.Not only did Dwayne take on the extra work with zero notice, he took the time to discuss what house appliances and electronics could and couldn’t be used simultaneously on generator power. Then, he guided me through all the steps to bring the generator up and ultimately power the house right then and there.I’m 100% confident that I’m covered in an emergency and I’m certain I’ll be using Bryant-Durham again in the future.

The previous home owner used Bryant-Durham for a generator installation and passed on their contact info to us when we purchased the home 2 years ago. Since then, we have relied on them to maintain the generator and HVAC unit. I have also used Duane extensively to solve electrical mysteries and install outlets where needed. Hes always on time, professional and a pleasure to work with. I have referred Bryant-Durham and Duane to neighbors on several occasions and will continue to do so.

I had both a 2 and 2.5 ton Trane units installed. Great company to work with as far as price and service. Have used them for 10+ years for repairs/service. Just spent about $17,000 on two new units. Extremely happy with the Trane units and the perfect, professional and friendly installation. The 2 guys were fantastic and did an A+ job. Then after the city inspected the installation a wonderful third guy came by to double-check I was 100% happy and did some additional super-precise wrapping around a few more places in my duct work. Bryants work has always been the best in the Durham area. They make sure everything is exactly perfect and are super friendly/easy to work with. With them, you never have to worry about the job being done right, very high-quality parts and expert service.

Dwayne did everything I was promised. He called ahead of time and gave me a correct ETA. Although it was not rainy, because he had come from a job where he had to get dirty, he put on his slippers to make sure he didn’t track in dirt, and he neatly put away the remnants of the two ceiling lights he installed and took care to enable me to donate the lights he replaced. The new fixtures look great, and he worked carefully yet quickly and was both friendly and professional. Very good experience.

I recently arrived at my home in Durham to find that the air conditioning was not functioning. I called Bryant - Durham Services to schedule an appointment for repair. I was told that I would be put on the wait list since early June is a particularly high demand period. I agreed to be put on the wait list. I was called late that same evening to notify me that a cancellation had occurred. I took that appointment. The technician from Bryant-Durham made a courtesy call that next morning to make sure that I would be at the residence. The technician (Brad Davis) diagnosed the problem quickly, made the repair, and took the time to educate me about what I could do to help with the maintenance of my system. Brad was extraordinarily patient and courteous as he discussed what homeowners should do to maintain their systems. I was so impressed that I asked to be added to their regular service program.

After 17 years of faithful service I had to replace my entire HVAC unit. I had always used Bryant Durham for routine service calls and they have been excellent. I called them to install a new unit and they quoted me a fair price on a new Trane and --considering it was July in NC--responded as quickly as humanly possible. The office staff--Carol and Anne-- were most courteous and helpful and the installing technicians--Blake and Shawn--were terrific.Attentive service at a fair price...what more can one ask?

Another local HVAC company told me as a new customer they couldnt do anything for me until late next week. I called Bryant-Durham and they said they could send out a tech the same day. He arrived early, fixed the unit, cleaned it and checked the freon. He was polite and my house was cooling again within an hour. Really great service!

I had Bryant-Durham install a Generac whole house generator. Chris and his crew were friendly, prompt and professional from beginning to end. It took them just a couple of days to perform the install and go over the system. They also continued working with me when I had issues related to the Amerigas folks not properly connecting my LP gas line to the generator which was resulting in incorrectly performing weekly self tests. They pointed out issues with the LP piping that needed to be addressed (as it took multiple county inspections and Amerigas visits to finally get the gas piping done correctly). I havent had to use the system in the 2 months Ive had it, but am ready. The Duke Employee discount on the system was an added bonus - as I will look toward them in future to perform my routine/repair on my HVAC system going forward as well.

Our power went out last night and as a result, the generator came on. The stove was making a strange sound, so I had to cut that breaker off. The AC Unit is on that same breaker. The next morning (Saturday), I called our electrician, Bryant Durham, and Dwayne came out determined the stove had quit working. So, he got it unhooked so we could cut the breaker on to use the AC Unit (90 degrees today). He also replaced a receptacle for us. Dwayne was very professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and provided the excellent customer service that we have consistently received over the years from this company (And on a weekend!). I cannot say enough good things about Bryant Durham. I called them in after another vendor left my house in shambles. From the time of my first phone call, every person I have worked with has been great. I have used both the electrical and hvac divisions. The entire staff has exceptional customer service. They are always timely, and the technicians have and gone above and beyond to what I asked, and better than I hoped for, from start to finish.Its easy to get taken advantage of. Or (what happened to me) you can unknowingly have work done by people who are either ignorant or dont care about doing a good job - then you are left with the bill and consequences. If you want an electrical or hvac company whose work you will never have to worry about, Bryant Durham is the one to call.

I went to Bryant-Durhams webpage to fill out a request for someone to come to my home to see about my electrical problem. Within a couple of hours I received a call asking when I wanted someone to come out. The day of the service, Mr. Trey Osbourne came to my house ahead of time (that rarely happens with house calls these days). . I told him the problem, and he went right to it and diagnosed the problem within a minutes time. Mr. Osbourne resolved the situation in about 15 to 20 minutes tops. In addition to his good work, he showed excellent customer service skills, which is hard to come by nowadays. If I have anymore electrical problems in my home, I will definitely connect with Bryant-Durham Services again. The professionalism, customer service and good work was much appreciated!

Their technician Rich came out and did a thorough inspection and identified & fixed possible trouble spots and offered ways to improve efficiency. He also shared the knowledge to increase my awareness of the systems. If Rich is an indication of their overall service level, then I give them the highest rating and would recommend them to anyone. Great work!

On July 2nd, our upstairs a/c unit stopped working. I called Bryant-Durham at 5:55 pm, and even though it was past working hours, a technician called me to tell me they wouldn’t be able to make it out there that evening, but that I would receive a call in the morning to schedule an appointment. When Carol called me that next morning (7/3), they had zero appointments open, and of course, the 4th was a holiday. This was also the week the temperatures went through the roof. She offered to put me on the schedule as a “work-in”, and I would only be given 30 minutes notice when the repairman was on his way. This worked perfectly for us (and my two kids) as we could hit the pool and be home well within that timeframe. Brad showed up exactly when he said he would, and then he spent about 6 hours trying to get our unit to work. He left our house at 8:30 pm with still more appointments to get to the night before a holiday. He promised he would be back first thing Friday morning, and he was! Our unit is now working. At any point, Brad could’ve thrown in the towel and told us we just needed a new unit. He was so incredibly honest with us- when I inquired about a new unit, he gave his honest opinion that it wasn’t time yet. The time was approaching, but we weren’t there yet. He showed me how to measure the leak we have so we can gauge the severity. He took his time with explaining everything to me, and he was diligent, patient, and beyond competent in repairing the system. I would (and do) recommend this company to everyone! We have used this company for a few years now, and they replaced our downstairs unit when it was time last summer. Their prices are incredibly competitive and the work they do is stellar.

Living in an apartment complex isnt always the easiest thing to do. Although there are some pros to renting. I still had to wait and go through red tape to get the request met. So it was a breath of fresh air when the office finally did their part by reaching for the services we requested and Brad from Bryant-Durham came the same day and confirmed our need as a priority. Again it is back to the red tape on when his company can complete the job. But at least he was professional, courteous, and honest. Our AC unit was turning on/off on its own. The first technician determined that nothing was wrong with the unit, and the the closed vents downstairs were causing the AC to turn off. The day afterwards the AC shut down again. The company was quick to fix its mistake, sending Brad instead who determined that our thermostat was dying. The service was quick and courteous.

Demetrius was the project lead for our electrical upgrade for all of the two-prong, non-grounded outlets in our house. He came the day before the project was scheduled to begin to be sure hed have all the materials he needed ready by the next day and also plan out the order of steps. We had other requests as well: installation of exterior outlets, re-connection of a motion sensor light, re-installation of a bathroom light, and few other odd things.Demetrius took care of the request list and more -- he went above and beyond on multiple things and caught a few hazardous situations we had never known about.I think the work took a total of five days over a two-week period (holiday timing) and Demetrius/DWayne took care of manageable chunks of work each day that never left us without power/AC, etc. by the time they left.Good people, reasonable price for the scope of work, and done in a timely fashion. Would definitely hire them for work in the future, but I dont think well have to! :)
