    Had a 50 gal water heater that was sputtering a couple days before family coming in. Called Thrasher and they gave me a quote over the phone without making an estimate apt. Came the next morning and replaced our water heater. Took about 2 hours. Joe and Nick very professional. Paid what they quoted me on the phone. $450 less than Schaal quoted . We live in Johnston. Would recommend. 5 star service.

    I love Thrasher! They provide excellent communication regarding service time and arrivals. Their staff is incredibly helpful.     I had Thrasher install a new AC system a few years ago. They were quick, courteous, and gave a great price. (Much better than the local big name company.) Fast forward a few years, on Sunday, my AC started blowing hot air. I called them first thing Monday, and they got me in the same day. They called to let me know they were on the way so I headed home from work and said they can start on the outside if they beat me there. 20 minutes later I arrived and the technician already had the issue fixed and the system running! It was a part that went bad and was covered 100% under warranty. Ive been thoroughly impressed with Thrashers service! Highly recommend!

Reminders from the office day before, morning of, tech on the way etc. Scheduled to arrive after 12:00 p.m. - I was notified Chase was ahead of schedule today and could be on the way, so he arrived just after 11:00, which was fine. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable - enjoyed talking with him. He used an alternate water source from inside the garage to clean the AC unit and fully complete service, as outside faucet was unserviceable., I, have been totally satisfied with Thrasher over a number of years, as have been other members of my family, I recommend them with full confidence!!!

    Service is wonderful. Thrasher is very responsive, the techs know what they are doing. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is this is the second time Ive had someone out to do work and Ive had to wash my bathroom rugs and floor. I think shoe covers would help a lot. We come out of tub or shower clean and dont want to step on rug/floor that has been walked on with shoes.

    Thrashers sent reminder text last night and as the Tech was on his way this morning which I appreciated. Tech arrived on time, inspected the unit outside and adjusted fan setting inside, as I asked him to do. He explained what he had done and advised me to call for service if condensation occurs during our very muggy summer. All in all, I cant imagine a more efficient, better service call.

    My repairman today was experienced and did a great job with the repairs and replacements in my bathroom. He was friendly and explained what he was doing as he worked. My house is 60 plus years old so there were some age issue repairs but he fixed those all calmly and efficiently. I told him if he would have stayed and peeled off the old wallpaper exposed with the new smaller sink and vanity, I would have given him an A+.

    We have used Thrashers for decades. Just had our heating checked for upcoming winter. Thrasher detected a little blockage on the p switch which kept the furnance not firing when requested. Fixed it. All good. Changed filter. We are set for winter. Always professional, on time, quality work, and follow up. I highly recommend this business for any type plumbing installation/repair, heating installation/repair, maintenance, etc.

    I began using Thrasher several years ago when they were the only heating service that would answer their phone on a Saturday evening. The serviceman was friendly and knowledgeable; he fixed the problem that evening. I’m currently using them for my entire HVAC system and plumbing. Thrasher also did a kitchen remodeling project for me that still looks great. Recently, I had a hole in my gas flue. Toni went out of her way to get a serviceman to my home promptly.     Thrasher was only supposed to do a test on our irrigation system (we recently purchased the house and were unaware of this irrigation system).     Could not be happier with our recent experience with Thrasher. We are remodeling our basement, and needed to have our utilities relocated from their central location to the nearest wall, about 6 ft. This involved moving and replacing the furnace, water heater, and air conditioning units. The technicians who came out were very friendly and knowledgeable. There were several, minor logistical issues that involved some problem solving to figure out the best way to move the plumbing stack and positioning of the furnace, but the technicians were great in working with us to find the best outcome given the circumstances. The only improvement to this scenario would have been if both the HVAC and Plumbing folks would have come out together with the sales rep to see the job and get on the same page beforehand. That being said, the sales rep came out to explain each phase of the job.The plumbing took about 2 days, with 1 day in between to let the poured concrete dry. The HVAC took another 2 days, so within a week we had the project done from start to finish. We had multiple all in one services bid out the job, as well as some services that only did portions of the job. Thrasher was cheapest from the other major providers. Sometimes for jobs like this I would worry about that, but could not have been happier with our choice of Thrasher.This experience was made great by the little extras they provided. What I mean by this was their ability to understand the bigger picture of what we as homeowners were trying to do, and going above and beyond their responsibilities to make that picture happen. For instance, they created much needed ceiling height by re-routing many of the water lines, that would have originally caused use to lose about 6 inches of head room. They also re-routed the gas and a/c lines and tucked them under the floor joists. They re-positioned several of the original ducts that fell below the joists. They also re-routed the vents for the furnace and water heater so they would no longer be facing our deck, but now on the side of the house. A lot of these things could have just been put back in their original spot, but this was a great delight as a homeowner!They were great! We will be going back if we have any issues down the road or for future remodeling projects.

    Ron was friendly and knew his stuff even with an older faucet that required hunting a part. He knew exactly who and where to go. It turned out to be where my husband use to go for hard to find plumbing parts. The operator is now the son of the man Marv knew.In my current and past experience with Trasher Service, they are not cheap but things get fixed and the they stay fixed or Trasher Service makes it right and it is unusual that such is ever required.     Best experience I had with any contractor period. They are knowledgeable, honest, and affordable. When they came to give me the estimate for the AC, I ask if I should replace the furnace along with the AC unit, the estimator said no it was still in good shape, no overselling. I thought that after I agreed to the price it would be a week to install, but to my surprise they were able to install it the next day. Trasher will be the only company that I will use for any plumbing or HVAC issues

    I had trouble getting scheduled correctly. I called several times the day before and had wanted to move the appointment time. I was told that they would move my time to the afternoon and someone would contact me in the morning, but no one did. I had to cancel my conflicting appointment. I dont like how you have a 4-5 hour window and then the day of the appointment you get a text saying on my way. It is rather inconvenient to have to block out the whole time.On the other hand, service was great fixing my problem.

    Outstanding service! We had a unique problem when our furnace hose was accidentally attached to our bathroom vent after residing our home. It turns out that this particular vent had two hoses dangling in the wall, one for the furnace and one for the bathroom vent.. David figured out what was happening and removed the outside vent cover and reached into the area and located the loose bathroom hose and connected it to the outside vent. His ability to solve this problem saved us considerable money. Also, a special thanks to Will and Chris for their efforts in solving this situation.We have used Thrasher Services for years. They are great to work with and do outstanding work and their rates are reasonable.

    I have used Thrashers for a few things at my house. This last time they were here was to fix a leaky toilet. Which the rep did amazing on. But, to charge $30 per 15 mins to fix it seems crazy. I knew up front there was a fee every 15 mins, but didnt realize it would take 2 hours to assess, complete work, then do paperwork/payment in the van. I will more likely use this company in the future. I was desperate to get the toilet fixed and they were the only ones that could do it same day. I was very disappointed when getting the bill. The parts were only $100 and $300 was fees. Again, I was happy with the work, rep was amazing and will use thrashers again. Just gave 4 stars due to the pricing.

Their team is highly skilled and I always am treated with care and respect. In late November of 2011 my furnace died. It was in the single digits and Steve removed the old furnace and installed the new one promptly, including significant new ductwork He got ur done before darkness fell and the temps dropped to below zero.     Thrasher service was awesome. I requested service due to be an unable to change a water filter due to pressure within the line. Ben arrive timely and presented himself professionally. He assessed the situation and determine what needed to be done to fix the issue today and also to prevent future service calls. He communicated with me his ideas of what would need to be done. Even took the extra time to check that the pressure in the line would not prevent me from changing the filter myself. When he determined that there was still too much pressure in the line for someone to be able to change the filter, he went the extra mile to add a valve to release the pressure. Still going the distance he went through the entire process for changing the filter and made sure that I was able to change the filter myself without issues. I highly recommend Ben at thrasher service, he paid attention to details and gave advice on filters and how often to change the filters as well. Ben with Thrasher Service thank you.

    My A/C wasnt keeping up this past summer, so I called a couple different companies.
