    We used Sherrill Pumping for our pre-purchase inspection and pumping. It was easy to schedule an appointment. Josh called after the job was done and gave us an update. He answered our questions and gave us sound advice for the maintenance of the septic system. A written report was also provided. We found Josh and his office staff to be professional, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We will use Sherrill Pumping for all our septic needs once we relocate.

    Absolutely awesome!!! We called him last night bc our kitchen sink wouldnt drain, after problem shooting, we thought the septic tank was full. Which if definitely was! He came out the next morning (on a Sunday!) to pump it for us. So professional, nice, and did a great job! He even taught us some tricks for any future issues. Very reasonably priced as well. Will def use them for all our future septic needs! And we HIGHLY recommend them!!!

    Sherrill Pumping is the best. He pumped our septic this year and even fixed a loose component that needed some help. I’m a realtor and worked with a different septic company (at the request of my client) for an inspection and certification. It was a disaster. Sherrill and his people are competent, professional, and easy to be around and talk to. The contrast of working with my client’s requested company was STARK. Go with Sherrill!!!!

    What a great experience! We called late on a Sunday night as we had sudden overflow in the basement and they were out the very next morning.     Well I had an emergency in the middle of the night. I had water backing up everywhere at 1 am on a Saturday morning. Nothing flushed. Thought it my be a frozen pipe. Spent a few hours under the house with a torch but to no avail. Figured it was the septic tank. Called 3 companies. No one answered. At 6am Josh called who’s an hour away. Explained my emergency and they were there within 2 hours!!!!! Solved my issues! Very helpful. Great folks! They are now my go to guys for these issues! Got one other call.     After having to empty our septic tank twice within a 3 month period due to system backups, we were referred to Sherrill. They came out, assessed the issue and quickly figured it out. They showed me the problem and explained it so that we could understand, instead of just emptying it again. Our tank had settled on one side (the entry side), causing it to back up into our pipes because the water wasnt going out the other side into the leech lines. He made a simple adjustment, left the tank full (so we could test the fix) and said to call him back in a month if we had any further problems. Its been a few months now and we have not had any problems! We are so thankful they took the time to figure out the root problem and address it, rather than every 3 months, slapping on a band aid of emptying the tank.

    After going 2 weeks without a toilet and getting the run around from local septic pumpers, I finally called Sherrill Pumping. (I wish I had done it sooner!)     FAST RESPONSE!Saturday morning doing laundry and started hearing gargling in toilets. Called Sherrill pumping and He was here in 40 minutes!! On a Saturday! Tank was so close to top.     On Monday evening, my toilets and shower started backflowing sewage into my house. Josh picked up when I called, and even though he couldnt get to me that night, he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me telling me exactly where to dig and what to do to get the emergency handled.The next afternoon, he showed up with 3 trucks and a hardworking crew that got my tank pumped, ground fixed, and problems solved within an hour. There was no sign they had ever been there by the time I got home from work.The best part was when he called later for payment, it was less than I expected. Dont even bother calling around. This is the guy you want.

    Our septic had backed up late at night and I found Sherrill Pumping was open 24 hours and I called them with questions and a quote, they were very very nice over the phone and explained and answered all my questions, they gave me a GREAT and REASONABLE quote to come out and pump my septic tank and they were here first thing in the morning, when they got here they were very professional fast and efficient they dug it up for us and covered it and didn’t leave a big mess in my yard or anything 10/10 recommend!     Had a leaking septic system in the intake piping. Once the tank was pumped it was noted that the drainage lines were clogged to the tank itself. Was given realistic odds of 50/50 in terms of the line being able to be unclogged. I am happy to say that between the tank he has for a worker and himself with others, the odds were in my favor. Beyond the work itself, they were professional and arrived getting straight to it. 10/10 Wil recommend.

    ..for me my septic tank was a nightmare, or so i thought so i called Josh of sherrill pumping who just happen to be in the neighborhood and would stop by and take a look . when they arrived they pulled the cap to access the situation after afew flushes he had an idea of what was going on they grabbed some equipment (air hose with nozzle) ran it up in there and blew it out...with no pumping. they were getting ready to leave and im like how much do i owe you guys ? hes like no charge.. i couldnt believe it .. any other company (without mentioning any names)would have taken advantage of we the consumer.. i just know one thing.......     I called on a Sunday afternoon and Josh answered the call. I explained my septic problem and he scheduled the service call for 4 PM the next day. He showed up first thing in the morning because it was backing up and pumped the tank. I was happy to get a next day service, he went above expectations and put us first in line.     I called on a Sunday afternoon with a backed up septic system and they were at my home by noon the next day. My house is in a remote area and the septic tank is behind the house in an area that was very difficult to access. Ethan was able to maneuver a mini excavator between my barn and a ridge with large protruding boulders, creating an access ramp out of the dirt and rock as he went. The previous owners of my home had built a fire pit out of large rocks directly on top of the tank, and Josh and Ethan were able to remove the rocks and dirt, then clear and drain the septic tank and install a new cover for it. The tank had been installed in 1997 and had never been pumped out. Josh and Ethan were both extremely professional and personable and answered all of my questions regarding the septic system. I would absolutely recommend Sherrill Pumping to anyone in need of septic tank servicing; they truly set the example for customer service.

    Highly recommend Sherrill Septic! They are expedient, very knowledgeable and thoughtful. They were at my home yesterday to mark my septic system to benefit the tree company to help in the removal of various trees. There was no charge for this courteous service. Unfortunately the next morning my septic system became clogged, couldn’t use any plumbing in the home! Placed another call to Sherrill at 730am, they where here by 9am!!! They were able to unclog the system and offered several suggestions to prevent this happening in the future. Will be using this company for any future needs. Again, highly recommend!

    My septic system alarm activated, I called Josh Thursday afternoon, and even though he had several calls for service, he offered to come out that evening. I thought it could wait a day, so he agreed to come out the next day. Josh showed up and pumped the tank and suspected a bad pump in the tank, but rather than just quote me a replacement fee he trouble shot the problem to a corroded electrical plug. He did all of this while it was alternating between rain and hail. Even though he was incredibly busy with several calls to go, and in rainy weather, Josh took the time to answer my questions.     Joshua is awesome. Bought the house a month ago. Had a septic inspection done by a company the realtor chose, which was a joke. Last night had a problem. Got Sherrill Pumping’s phone number. He came today, cleaned out the grease trap (which was supposedly done durning the inspection done by the other company) which Joshua showed and explained that it had not been done in at least 5 years. He said that the grease trap was probably the issue and recommended I not spend unnecessary money for him to pump the septic tank. To wait and see if the problem returned and have it pumped them if it did. He explained the entire system to me. Showed me where the drain field is and explained the signs to look for indicating the need of pumping. He was friendly, honest, professional and knowledgeable. I will keep his number for any future needs and will highly recommend him to everyone I can. I am in the process of getting my Home Inspectors License so whenever I am doing a home inspection and they need someone for septic, I know exactly who to recommend, Sherrill Pumping, without a doubt.     Josh answered on the first ring. He listened and took my information carefully. He finished a job nearby and headed straight to my house. My septic needed pumped badly and he found another issue with my septic lines that would cause future problems of the same sort in a short amount of time if not dealt with soon.     Called on Sunday afternoon after not being able to get ahold of our regular guy. Told him we didn’t have use of our facility and needed him to pump our tank out. He said he would work us in on Monday afternoon. To our surprise, he appeared at 8:00 am so we could get use of facility. They went right to work on uncovering our tank, even the second tank. Never had second tank pumped. Previous company only pumped one side for years. This definitely explains why we have to have it pumped every year. We didn’t know any better. Now we do. Sherrill Pumping also said they could not come and help due to municipal rules, but they were kind enough to spend over 2 hours texting and calling back and forth with us, and helping us to fix the problem ourselves. They instructed us on how to fix this actual minor problem ourselves, and even said that we don’t need an emergency pump out come Monday morning.
