Keith, explained the Halo water system completely with the initial phone call. He is very knowledgeable about the system and a great professional installer. His work is professional and cleans up after. His assistant Craig was his right hand and completed the under house work exceptionally.Keith also recommended replacing a 23 year old hot water heater due to the Halo system cleaning the water would cause the tank to leak as the sediment dissolves.I would recommend Vines and Keith for your water quality experts. My water taste is so much better even on install day!Thank you Keith and Craig for a job well done!

Jason was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what was wrong and what we should do. He explained the Preventative maintenance program and again answered all our questions. We did sign up for the Pro plan. Highly recommend Jason and Vines.Dylan is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain each of the HVAC systems and answer our questions.Scott came and installed our new HVAC. He and his helper were very friendly and professional, they respected us and our property by covering the floors and didn’t bang the walls while removing and replacing the air handler which is in our attic (using a ladder to remove old handler and installing the new one). They cleaned up and swept any debris that was left. We were impressed with them.Will be checking on a whole house water filter system in the future.Very pleased with our experience with all of the Vines employees that we came in contact with. Highly recommended Vines.

Vines came did an estimate on AC/heat for my shop. By far the most competitive price out there. Installed the system within a week of initial quote. This outside unit is massive and so far efficient. My shop stays at 72-74 even on the hottest days. The team was so professional, knowledgeable and quick. I do not believe the process couldve been any better. So grateful Vines and all its team members.

Glad we went with Vines. The technician, Pete, was great. We received a text when he was on his way, he arrived on time early in the window provided, he was efficient and knowledgeable and spoke to us in a way that we understood. He was polite and even helped us with other things besides the quote that we initially contacted Vines for. We’re very pleased with Vines thanks to Pete. We’re going with them for our specific tub replacement as well as their HVAC and tankless water heater yearly maintenance.Update: Pete and Josh did an amazing job with the install. The communication was spot on, they came on time. They didn’t leave until everything was installed and cleaned up. We had a problem with a footing on the tub that we purchased from another company (Home Depot) and it didn’t malfunction until after the install. I contacted Vines and Pete again and he scheduled me within a couple of days to come back to take care of the issue. This time he came back with Dalton and the two of them quickly fixed the problem to beyond our satisfaction and saved us a lot of worry from dealing with Home Depot. Bravo! They didn’t even charge us to come back the second time to ensure everything was ok. Also, Hanna from the main office was wonderful in her accommodating our install schedule, and the return visit. 150% recommend this company. The price was also more than reasonable. Way less than we would have paid in our last hometown. Thank you Pete, Josh, Dalton, and Hanna! We love our new bathtub and fixtures!

No real hot water for 2 days. Called Vines, Kevin came out at scheduled time and discovered the pilot light was out on my 14 yr. old water heater. He promptly re-lit it and discussed options. I decided to replace it. Came next day. Within 2 hours I have a new one with no more worries. I recommend Vines. Great service, prompt, friendly and they dont push a products.

We had an unexpected issue with the kitchen sink. I requested service on line the night before. Nick showed up early with several options for our needs. He explained everything in detail and was very helpful.Project took a bit of turn with the old faucet needing to be cut out and Nick handled it very well.He completed the job quickly and worked clean. My good friend Candy said to me “if you’re in a bind call Vines”. That’s just what I did this morning. I needed a shower valve repair. Josiah arrived quickly and began to work on my repair. Then I mentioned some other small issues I was having. Which he was happy to look at. In the process, we walked by my 19yr old hot water tank and noticed it had just started to leak. Like what are the odds of that timing?!?!Josiah called the office and just a short time later Keith & Fred arrived with my new Essency water heater.Keith, Josiah and Fred quickly and effiently installed my new water heater, replaced my shower valve, installed a new toilet, new shower head and finally a new kitchen faucet. Jody Vines performed our plumbing inspection as part of our Platinum Pro program. Drained and serviced our hot water heater and thoroughly inspected our plumbing throughout our house. He also addressed an issue with water flow from one of our faucets. He was very informative, efficient and very friendly answering any questions we posed. Highly recommend.Landon Rhodes who performed our HVAC inspection as part of our Platinum Pro Program. What a true professional. He was very thorough explaining everything to us. He did find a couple issues which he took care of right away. Plus he installed our monitoring system and went through all the features on the app. He was patient and we could tell he took pride in his work. He was 5 stars all the way. I deleted and changed my review completely on the owner and my next experience . I received a voicemail from the owners His message was very empathetic, apologetic, genuine,and seemed sincerely concerned about my experience with his company . He made sure to reach out to me even though he was out of town. I can’t recall an owner ever to reach out to me and show so much concern as well as wanting to correct the problem. I understand that sometimes an employee actions in the company does not make the company completely a bad company . Unfortunately for my case she was the front line that prevent me from moving forward to use their services. The actions that followed to rectify the situation can really make a difference in the final outcome of how you may feel about the company. Vines owner was committed to customer satisfaction not only with himself but his employees as well. He assured me that he would address the situation and hopefully provide this as future education to staff as this is not how he runs his business. I was very impressed with the conversation. I definitely would consider Vines if needed in the future .

Eric was FANTASTIC! We were has last job for the day. Unfortunately, it turned out not to be easy. It was important to us that the repair that day because my wife is handicapped (wheelchair) and the bathroom is handicapped accessible. Eric went above and beyond. He did not have what he needed on his truck. He went to Lowes or Home Depot and bought the part he needed and came back and fixed our toilet. Ran into problems on our return from vacation. Air was set at 72 but the fan wouldnt come on. I called Vines and their response was amazing! They arrived in the morning, same day, diagnosed the problem and gave me several options for repair. The Evaporator coil was under warranty so I decided a quick fix was not an option and went with the replacement. Bob and Chris were professional, not trying to over sell the work and were very personable, knowledgeable and respectful. Work was completed the same day and I am very happy with the service Vines provided.

I called because we already knew we would eventually lose our run capacitor. Just in case of that event, we had purchased a top of the line capacitor locally. We were right & for a very small fee, Jayson replaced it. Not many companies would do that! I decided to sign up for their service plan and a week later Jody came out to inspect our plumbing. We can’t say enough great things about the prompt customer service office staff, Dylan the manager, Technician Landon Rhodes and Technician Alex Flowers. As a new customer, we contacted Vines on a Thursday evening regarding our AC running, but not blowing cold air. As it was 91 degrees outside and already 88 degrees in our house, we desperately needed our air fixed ASAP. Vines was able to come out to our house first thing Friday morning. Technician Landon was very personable, extremely knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed the problem and solution in a timely manner. Landon explained the problem with our AC, as the repair was pretty extensive and parts needed ordered as well. He explained their amazing Platinum Promise Membership plan that offers a fantastic maintenance program that we couldn’t pass up. We were told it could be fixed on Tuesday, but as I was speaking to Dylan, the manager about warranty on my unit, on Monday he advised that they were able to get a tech out that afternoon. We were extremely happy as we had gone 5 days without AC and the heat index outside was over 90 degrees everyday, and our house was around 88 degrees, nearly unbearable. Technician Alex and another tech arrived on time on Monday afternoon and worked professionally and diligently to repair the extensive AC job in our extremely hot attic and outside unit. Alex was kind, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Vines technicians are TOP NOTCH! No one in the area can compare. We had a toilet spilling over 2 nights before Thanksgiving & the night before our guests were arriving, so understandably we were in a panic. We called Vines (and several other plumbers) at about 11pm and Vines was the only one that actually answered their phone. The dispatcher was kind and helpful. She said they could have someone come out there pretty quickly and within an hour Michael Petric showed up. He was professional and it was obvious he was an experienced plumber. He was pretty certain he knew where the problem lied, which was in the main line of the plumbing. He found an entrance underneath a utility sink that he thought he could get to the clog and within about 20 minutes he found the problem and was able to clear the line. it was almost 1 AM by the time he finished, but we had a running toilet and we were able to clean up and be ready for our guests the following day. I would highly recommend Vines for all of your plumbing needs and will definitely be calling them if I ever have another issue.

My experience with Vines was great. Mark came out initially and did a thorough investigation of our issues and even checked a few areas for dampness and water that I didn’t originally call about. He took his time and really made me feel comfortable that his team could fix our problem. Our Vines technician was Jayson Katerinis. I was extremely pleased with his expertise, system knowledge, and especially his logical troubleshooting approach, considering the various readings and conditions he reconfirmed. He evaluated the symptoms and checked possible contributing factors to discover a faulty capacitor (at the fan unit) and hanging insulation in the ‘cold air’ chamber that had fallen down to block the coil. He then changed the capacitor, resecured the insulation, resealed the mastic at the seams of the panel, and cleaned up any debris. I consider Jayson a highly qualified HVAC technician and would welcome him back for any future maintenance or repair work. Regards/Tim StappUpdate: 7/17/2024. Sadly we needed Jayson’s expertise again. The previous repair to resecure the insulation that had fallen down in the coils with glue unfortunately failed. It had fallen again so I opened the side panel to confirm and allow the freeze-up to thaw. When Jayson arrived we conferred with Dylan and agreed to do a more permanent fix by securing the insulation to the roof of the coil chamber with small metal flashing pieces and metal screws. Brilliant!! Can’t imagine that issue to ever arise again! Jayson then did a quick tape and mastic seal job on the panel and we tested the system. Again,…thank you so much for having Jayson come over and provide the service we needed!12/05/24: Landon Rhodes was the Vines service technician who came for our periodic maintenance appointment today. Landon did capacitor and pressure checks on multiple areas of our system and found most within limits. He had to adjust the gas pressure from the regulator into the “fire box”. I greatly appreciated that he answered any/all of my questions, which will allow me to do proper user maintenance between service calls. His patience and clearly stated answers were easy for a non HVAC certified person to understand. Thanks for sending Landon our way. He is welcome back any time!1/7/2025: Landon was the Vines technician who came to check our system after I smelled some gas at the gasoline/firebox area of our system. He brought the “bubble/soap” solution to check all the gas line fittings and connections and detected no leaks. The small waft of gas I had smelled was described as a typical and acceptable amount when a system kicks on and ignites to produce heat. I greatly appreciated Landon’s thorough and expert approach and explanation. He took time to insure there were no leaks and relieved our worries. Landon is an excellent AC/Heating technician and is welcome back for any future service calls.

We had a Mitsubishi 12,000 btu Mini Split 1-way Cassette HVAC Unit installed in out new Carolina Sunroom. Vines did a professional job; clean, courteous and highly efficient. The guys from Vines - Ivan, Miroslav, Alex, Landon and Darryl were very professional. They were knowledgeable and courteous to us. I have used Vines for other Plumbing and HVAC requirements and have proven to be an excellent company. We have had dealings with other companies since moving to SC and they were not professional nor accommodating. It was nice to deal with Vines and will use them in the future for Plumbing and HVAC.

What a great experience with Vines. My water heater decided to stop working Thursday night at 10pm of the memorial day weekend. I called serval companies and received ridiculous quotes and time frames unless I wanted to pay 1k more to have it done on Friday. I called Vines and they said a tech would be out Friday afternoon and they had an 80 gal in stock and could do the repair. I went out Friday morning to run some errands and received a Call at 10:30am that a Technician freed up and was on the way over. Gary showed up quickly removed the damaged tank, and had the new one delivered. The were very friendly, knowledgeable and did a fantastic install. When they were done, there service was quick and exceptional and their pricing was fair. Vines was over 40% cheaper than anyone else I called. I will definitely call Vines again. Thanks Gary!

Not a fan of their new membership levels this year and they do a lot of upselling (other products and tweaks to existing system). However still highly recommend them for HVAC and plumbing issues. They installed water heater last year and very happy with work.

Our Hot water Heater died on Friday morning and water was seeping from the garage into one of our closets. After calling some plumbers and even contacting Lowes (whose installer NEVER contacted us ) we agreed to call Vines. They are close, so we expected a quick response. Their Serviceman was at our house Within an Hour. Andrew Monroe removed and replaced the Water heater within about 2 hours or so. His professionalism and cheerful nature at this distressing time was so welcomed. While we may have been able to wait and search for a lower cost, we feel we got a better heater (than the Lowes one) and the problem was taken care off in hours. Hunter Vines came out to assess problem right away when I called for emergency after hours service 8/19/23 (1am). The water authority had turned off the water at the meter. Hunter turned the water on & found the leaking hose was the problem. The appliance is 17 years old so I decided to have it replaced even though only the hose was defective. Hunter & Andrew picked up new appliance & all components, removed the old appliance, installed new appliance with catch pan, plumbed & wired & turned water back on 8/19 by 5:30 pm. New appliance was installed in a temporary location until water damage restoration is complete but will place in designed area after restoration. They also hauled off the old appliance and components. Superb service! I was referred by my insurance agent, Greg Drennan, SC Farm Bureau, who is friends & networks with Rick Vines.

I called for an issue with my shower valve body making noise. After Vine showed up there mechanic ( KELLY) followed the proper procedure to diagnose the issue. I I knew he was I’m also in the trade but in NY but l’m not licensed in South Carolina and it’s a requirement by the condo I own and the HOA. So after opening the wall he discovered that the valve body and the water supply lines of the shower were never properly strapped to the studs. This cause an issue also because the body was constantly slamming against the shower surround cause the possibility of the supply lines leaking. They already shown a ton of patina on the pipes in the wall. So as per recommended we not only fixed the issue with strapping the copper water lines we changed out the valve body. The elbows leading to the valve body had a ton a patina on it showing that those lines could have blown at anytime. This all was caused by the flopping around in the wall for I don’t know how long. This weakened the elbows and possibility causing a major leak. All due to the incompetence of the initial plumber who installed the valve by not strapping the supply lines along with the valve body. Thank you Kelly you truly are a professional in my opinion.
