I am very happy with the plumbing service I received from Andy and Ryan at Rapid Service. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. From the initial phone call to the completed job, they were always courteous and helpful.Andy arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the issue. They explained everything clearly and provided options for the repair. The work was done with great care and attention to detail.I highly recommend Rapid Service to anyone in need of plumbing services. Their expertise and excellent customer service made the experience much less stressful than expected.

Called Rapid Service about a failed sump pump. They replaced both old pedestal pumps with submersible pumps and corrected the discharge pipes. Andy and Ryan did a great job. Looks great and I no longer have to worry about freezing pipes outside. They are knowledgeable and precise in the work they do. Would highly recommend.

I had Andy and Ryan install a water heater. Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and did great work. Andy took the time to discuss my options and prices with me beforehand. I would be happy to go with these guys again in the future.Update: Its been over a year since the water heater installation and we have had no problems at all on that front. We had a blocked filter in the septic tank causing backup in the house today and Andy came at 7pm on a Saturday, identified and fixed the problem in less than an hour, and for cheaper than I would have thought.If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would.

Great communication from the office through to the crew showing up. Once they arrived there was an excellent & thorough diagnosis of the problem. Andy & Ryan were able to assess what previous (failed) repair attempts were made by another company & properly isolate where the problem actually was. They then methodically worked the problem & explained what they were doing step by step, along with keeping me informed of potential costs/risks. They even did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. Very happy with the quality of service & would absolutely not hesitate to call them again in the future!

I had a bad water leak in my ceiling into my kitchen and within two hours they were there. Rapid service has amazing customer service. Technicians Andy and Ryan were very professional, knowledgeable, attentive and kind. They met our needs during and after hours answering our questions and addressing our concerns. Rapid Service came out on a Sunday, when most other service would not entertain a weekend call. They made us feel comfortable during a stressful situation. We highly recommend Rapid service if your looking for quality work.

We have used Rapid Service for almost 20 years - they have replaced our well pump, sump pump and the most recent service was for a leak coming from the shower and then upon inspection Andy recommended we replace the well pressure tank. As always, service was excellent. Andy was friendly, professional and did a great job tackling both tasks. I also really appreciate how they were able to come out the same day I called to determine where the leak was coming from and put a temporary solution in place to stop it until they could come back for the full repair.

Spoke with Rachel at Rapid Service on April 19 for a copper pipe leak in the basement in which a technician was slated to come out on April 20 between 1-4 p.m. On April 20, Rachel called at 11:30 a.m. and said the technician was available to be onsite at Noon if that worked for me. It was perfect! Andy arrived by Noon -- inspected the leak, provided the quote and replaced the pipe within 15 minutes. Friendly, professional service. I highly recommend Rapid Service for any issues you may have with plumbing, electrical or heating.

I was one of Rapid Services earliest customers 34 years ago, and recently had them replace a shower valve, rebuild another shower valve and replace the well pressure tank and filter. Their high-quality service and materials are just as good today as they were all those years ago. They did all the plumbing work when I was building the house and everything has held up really well for the last 34 years. The recent work was all completed in one day, they even stayed late to make sure everything was finished. They were working in three different areas of my home and each location was left as clean or cleaner than when they arrived. I am very pleased with the excellent quality and responsiveness that Rapid Service recently provided and will not hesitate to have them help again with future projects.

Andy went above and beyond to ensure that our new circuit breaker and generator outlet were perfect. He took the time to explain all available options beforehand and established confidence in our choice. He also took time to explain how everything worked, including all the steps for generator hook-up, and answered all our questions. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. Andy was cheerful, friendly and professional. The experience was like having family working on our project. We plan to use Rapid Service for all of our professional home projects in the future!

Rapid Service is expensive. But, you get what you pay for, i have been their customer for years. They use the best quality parts and they have an excellent work ethic. Yeah they charge a lot but my plumbing issues are always fixed the first time. No shortcuts with these guys. Im very happy.

I needed a plumber to unhook and reattach my faucets in the kitchen and bathroom as a result of installing new countertops. I was able to call less than a week in advance and get this service scheduled. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. She stayed on top of contacting me about dates/timings. They showed up as scheduled - right date and on time. Professional. Did a high quality job and left the place cleaned up afterwards. Right from the start, I felt confident in their abilities and trusted I was getting the servicing I was paying for. And just very friendly as well! All around great experience!! Will definitely use Rapid Service for my future plumbing needs.

Rapid Service is the only company we turn to for our electrical and plumbing needs, whether it is an emergency or a planned visit. Most recently Andy handled the replacement of our electrical panel which involved interior and exterior work. This work was completed in one day! They also handled contacting CL+P and the town building inspector to set up the necessary follow up appointments. (The building inspector raved about the quality of the work that was done and said he wished all inspections could go so smoothly.) Our most recent plumbing work, exterior frost-free hose faucet, bathroom faucet and under the counter/basement pipes replacement, was handled by Ozzie and his son. These folks at Rapid Service are very professional and we have gotten to know them very well over the years. They have been there for us during some big time emergencies. Our water heater was leaking all over the basement and Andy came right over and get this - had a replacement water heater on his truck, so the repair was handled same day and we could get on with the clean up. There was also another time where we woke up to smoke in the basement coming from our well pump. As luck would have it, it was snowing that day and travel was really bad. Even though it wasnt safe for the trucks to go out, Ozzie still took his personal vehicle and came out to help us identify the problem, which ended up being a problem with the main line at the pole outside. We contacted CL+P and the issue was resolved that same evening. I could go on and on, but take my word, you get what you pay for with these folks and more. I cannot tell you how comforting it is to know that if an electrical or plumbing problem comes up, I dont have to worry. I dont have to scour the yellow pages or internet lists looking for help, I just have to make one call to trusted old friends.

Rapid Service is outstanding - they have done work on our house many times in the past several years, including replacing water tank, furnace, septic pump. Most recently, this past year Andy and his team replaced our 40+ year old furnace and oil tank. At the beginning of the furnace job, Andy told us he could install it within two days. There were multiple unexpected complications during the job, but he and his team worked late into the evening both days to get it done on time. He also limited the time we went without water to less than a day. A month or so later, Rapid Service responded very quickly to our call about water leaking into the basement, and worked closely with our insurance company during the evaluation and did a fantastic job replacing and painting the walls and ceiling. He and the Rapid Service team are always friendly and very professional, and do great work - we wouldnt hesitate to contact them again!

Andy usually responds to our calls and he has been nothing short of a miracle worker on our 1800s house with all its quirks and challenges. Rapid Service is well priced, honest, transparent, and quick. Every technician that has been to our home (Ozzy, Ryan, and Andy) has been kind, professional, and up front about current needs and anything we should watch out for in the future. Because of the information Ozzie provided to me years ago, I was able to know when my well pump was falling apart and would need replacement instead of the situation becoming an emergency. We have used Rapid Service on our previous home and our new home. They have done plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen appliances and bathroom tile. The work they perform is explained in advance, the costs are explained in advance and the results always exceed our expectations. For the bathroom tile they had to re-build to create straight and level conditions and it took the technician a while before he was satisfied with his own work before even starting the tile. They are always courteous and take the time to explain to non professionals. And the office is always pleasant and will make things right. I recommend Rapid Service for any home task. They are fair and honest and will not try to get you to do more than you need. You may find someone cheaper to do the work, but for the highest quality and positive service choose Rapid. We recently had a tree fall on our electrical lines during one of the past rain/wind storms, ripping the lines almost all the way off the house. The same night it happened I called Rapid Service(around 11pm) to see if I could leave a message for someone to come out the next day(since I couldnt get power until that was fixed). Andy answered the phone(to my surprise) and took my info and said theyd most likely get me in the next day and that I would hear from them between 8-830am. Sure enough I was able to get an appt with Andy to come do a temporary fix on the lines so that when the electric company came out to fix their end I would have power and I made an appt with him to come back the following week to do the permanent install. He is friendly & knowledgable. The new install looks great and I couldnt be happier with the service I received.-Amanda Price

I had Rapid Service out last year to do a repair under my kitchen sink and I was very impressed with how professional the plumber was. So when I noticed that my water heater was getting rusty, I knew would be calling them again. I also had issues with a couple of my outlets and an issue with my tub spout leaking. I was told they have people on staff that could help with all of it. Its nice to know that I dont have to hunt down and make a bunch of calls to different people to get things done. The office calls when their guy is on the way and my home is left clean after the repairs are done. Everyone that Ive dealt with is friendly and they make things clear for the average Joe to understand. A+ for customer service and timely repairs.
