Joel is the most patient plumber Ive ever worked with. The two problems Ive had didnt have straight forward fixes and I had multiple plumbers out for both of those problems. Both times Joel showed me what I could do on my part to diagnose the issue. I was in mild panic both times and being able to take action myself kind of put my mind at ease.The first problem, a copper pipe leaking underground, was eventually fixed by a plumber of theirs named Ryan. It didnt look like an easy fix. I was scared he wasnt going to be able to fix it. But Ryan made it look like a piece of cake.The other problem he helped with is still a work in progress. Joel (and a few other plumbers) attempted to solve the issue and no one has so thats no strike against him. I thought Joel was giving me a good deal for the attempted fix. Then Is saw what other plumbers charged for doing the same thing he does (easily twice as much) and realized I got a great deal.

Today, Joel and Justin from CPS Drain and Plumbing completed the job of removing the blockage from my pipes and drains that they had diagnosed earlier. Their work was quick, efficient, and successful! They encountered an additional blockage and also took care of removing that one, as well. The cost was reasonable and the work superb.I recommend CPS Drain and Plumbing to everyone. Their expertise is first rate, as is their efficiency. Plus they are genuinely nice folks to work with. You cant beat that combination.Joel and Robert from CPS Drain and Plumbing came back and began the evaluation of my drain problem. Within an hour, they had found the problem with a tree root in my main house line and explained to me what was going on in terms that I could clearly understand. Arrangements were made to have the needed work done in a few days.As always, I appreciate the professionalism, courtesy, and expert competence of CPS folks. I highly recommend them to anyone who is having a plumbing or drainage issue. They are reasonable in charges and explain everything thoroughly. Best of all, their work is great.I noticed a leak in my basement and called CPS Plumbing. Colleen, the office manager, was friendly, professional, and helpful, as always. She immediately took all my information and quickly passed it along to Joel, who was here within an hour to check to see what was going on. He did a quick investigation and determined the source of the leak. Because I will be out of town for the next few days, he determined that the leak would not increase and would not be a problem during my absence and at my request, he scheduled a time to come upon my return home to fix the problem quickly.As always, Joel was highly knowledgeable and extremely professional and explained to me exactly how the pipes worked and what the probable source of the problem is. He took time to answer all my questions at length and explained the problem in a manner that I could understand completely.I have had the opportunity to enjoy the services of CPS Plumbing on two previous occasions and found the work to be exemplary. I recommend them most highly to anyone who needs plumbing and drain work done. They are the best.IJustin did a fine job replacing the components of my toilet and in explaining exactly what my problem was and what he was going to do to fix it. I have a bathroom sink that has faucets coming out of the wall. The faucet was dripping. Underneath the sink there was no way to turn the hot or cold off. We had terra cotta sewage line that needed to be replaced. His people worked tirelessly to dig up and replace the pipe, cleaning up before leaving. In the process they had to dig up a large shrub. They replanted it before leaving. Once again, we are grateful for their good work and pleasant, courteous demeanor.Again, we called for help with a toilet that was rocking. Robert showed up early and worked all day without a lunch break on multiple odd problems posed by a 100 year old house.Plumbers from the vendors of the dishwasher were unhappy about my neighborhood. Upon arrival and inspection they rolled their eyes, slapped their foreheads, made derogatory comments about the original installation, then said it would take around 3 grand to install the dishwasher. After they left I called CPS who I have used before. Robert got the dishwasher installed, addressed the concerns the other plumbers raised in his repairs and was professional. All at a fraction of the cost of the first estimate.

There were one or two issues unrelated to the job we called him in on and he cheerfully corrected those while he was with us - over and above the call of duty. Finally, the jobsite was left in an orderly fashion, everything as it was before the problem began, rare these days, in my experience. I highly recommend CPS for this sort of work.

We have used CPS Plumbing for three different problems in our home. They have also done work in my father’s house and at my in-laws home.After Joel’s first visit, I knew I wasn’t going to use anyone else. We had a huge back up and flooding in both our downstairs bathrooms. We were quoted by a well known commercial Company fifteen to twenty thousand to fix it and they were going to dig up our drive way. Joel came the next morning to look at our situation. He explained to me step by step why the problem was happening. His plan was a much less aggressive and simple to fix the problem. The cost was not anywhere close to 15 thousand dollars, of fact, IT WAS A LOT LESS and there was no digging up the driveway. I can promise you… when you have sewage coming into your home, you will do almost anything to get it fixed. It is so important to have someone like Joel that is trustworthy and knowledgeable . Joel and Colleen are HIGHLY Recommend by us.

There are plumbers and then, there are people who say they are plumbers. I now have found a Super Plumber! After searching for plumber recommendations from neighbors and Google, I found Joel Weed, CPS Drain & Plumbing! From the moment I made that first call and spoke with Colleen, I knew I was in good hands! I had a pipe burst under my home tied to an outdoor spigot. It was pooling in my crawlspace. Next, enter Joel Weed, Plumber Extradionaire and his employee, Toshi! Within minutes, the reason for the issue was identified and they went into action. While replacing the ancient pipe, I was able to have them replace old pipes with new pipes that expand as I had some old cast iron piping that led to that particular outdoor spigot. They even checked other plumbing under the house. Not only was my experience with everyone there professional and friendly, their work was focused, impeccable, great cleanup, fairly priced, and left me with peace in my heart that my castle was much better than before! Its a great feeling to find folks that are honest and do great work...they are now my go to company!
