    Chapman Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is an awesome company. Last month I signed up to be a member of the comfort Club. Today I had a new AC and Furnace installed. Every one of the 6 men who came to do service, repair and instillation has been nice and polite. Even my dogs like them. Thank you Curt, Daniel, Gerald, Brayden, Andrew and Thad for your excellent customer service.

    Our experience with Chapman Heating Cooling and Plumbing has been wonderful. Terry came to our home and helped a great deal by answering the barrage of questions I presented. He was patient and helpful as he assisted me selecting the right furnace and heat pump for my needs. We were impressed with the installation process. The team was Ellis, Ryan, Gerald, and a couple others. My floors were protected from dirt and scratches. I stayed home while it was installed and witnessed the team in action. Very impressive how they worked together to insure that the installation was done correctly. The ductwork at the furnace is installed professionally and looks great. The heat pump is installed on a steep slope. Chapman put it on a wrought iron platform. To put it on the ground wouldā€™ve required digging a flat spot in the yard and putting a base down for it to sit on. The problem with putting it on the ground is , the ground settles and can cause the heat pump to sit uneven. As a bonus we will receive the results of the energy audit they conducted. Chapman is a top notch company that I will certainly highly recommend to anyone I know that needs an HVAC system or repairs to an existing one. I will evaluate the actual heat pump and furnace in the future after we have lived with it for a cooling and heating season. It sure is great looking and so quiet that you need to touch the heat pump to see if is running. I hear my neighbors a/c but I never hear ours.

    Outstanding professional service. The tech came in, introduced himself, and detailed everything he was going to be doing. Always asked for permission on individual tasks even though he didnā€™t need to do that but the added courtesy is appreciated.We have an older system so we are depended on routine maintenance/inspections and couldnā€™t ask for a better provider to do so. When its time to replace our whole system (soon) our first call will be to Chapman

    Nothing but positive things to say. Terry did the assessment for a new furnace and AC unit. He was communicative, informative and thorough without ever making us feel pressured. There was a small issue when the heating unit delivery but the Chapman team handled everything and even with the delay we went from expressing general interest to installation of the new system in under a month. The chapman team accommodated our work schedules for the installation without issue. The installation team of Daniel, Gerald, and Tony were wonderful. Polite, punctual and informative. I barely noticed the installation noice and was about to work while they installed. Every estimate from timing to pricing was accurate. They left every area of our home they worked in perfectly clean. Would 100% recommend and do business with them again.

    I have highest regard for Chapmanā€™s Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. Theyā€™ve taken excellent care of my home for 40 yrs. Today Dustin was able to come a day early and tackle my mystery water ā€˜leakā€™. His professionalism, knowledge, patience, and calm calmed me down as well. Dustin is a good teacher as well as plumbing expert! His expertise determined a technical issue and not a water leak at all and he explained his work to me from start to finish. Always excellence with everyone at Chapmanā€™s!

    Ive been using Chapman for years because of their local friendly feel and my confidence in their level of service. The service men actually remember details about my family and take extra time to show me cool things about my equipment... the front desk staff when you call the phone number are great and help me navigate issues... the comfort club comes in handy for services issues and discounts on buying quality filters rather than crappy filters that strain your system. Chapman is worth it!

    I have been a customer of Chapmans for decades, so it goes without saying that I trust them implicitly to take good care of me. In the past two years, I have replaced both my heating & air conditioning system and my hot water heater, and I was very impressed with the speed and efficiency of Chapmans technicians. Today, I had a relatively simple plumbing repair. Dustin Ferguson, the service technician that took the call, was polite and friendly as well as proficient and efficient. Once again, Chapmans has responded to my needs professionally, completely, and at a reasonable price.

    Dustin and Danny did a great job. They explained the issues well and answered all my questions. They were quick and professional! They also helped me get set up with additional Chapman services outside of their specialty. Scheduling also did a great job finding a solution when they had a call out.I also recently had Mike out to look at my AC. After his inspection, it was determined that my 38 year old AC had finally bitten the dust. Mike reviewed issues with coolant and EPA regulations and it was determined that a new unit was needed. After 38 years, my old one had more than done its hob. Thad came out less than an hour later to review models and pricing and was really helpful in the decision making process. The following week Ellis and Brayden came out for the install. Both were professional and the job was done quick!With so much work needing to be done, I am thankful that Chapman was a one stop shop. I also really appreciated that they gave recommendations for drywall repairs after the leaks as well.

    Today Chapman installed a new air conditioner and furnace. Staff were very professional and knowledgeable. Any questions I had were welcomed and answered. Clean up was exceptional. All installers were mindful of not letting my pets get out when doors were open. A city employee visited with Chapman staff and observed the work at one point regarding requirements for re-bates. Also, Chapman is doing the paperwork for me for re-bates and warranties, which is greatly appreciated.I mentioned to staff that since I have lived in this home I have noticed that the concrete slab holding the outdoor equipment did not appear level. It was immediately measured and found to not be level. It was corrected immediately.I have been a customer for at least 20 years in 2 different homes. Staff have always been friendly and helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and responsive to heating and cooling needs.

    We use Chapman for our AC and furnace. Furnace was not working for beginning of fall. Called Tuesday and they were here the next day right at scheduled time. (Mike) service technician quickly diagnosed problem and had their team bring the parts. Pricing was less than expected since one of the parts was under warranty. This team is fair and run an efficient business. I really appreciate Chapman and their staff. Highly recommend others to use them too.

    Weve been Chapman customers for years and have always been extremely pleased with their HVAC service and product installations so we were pretty excited when we heard they were adding plumbing services. We have used them for several plumbing jobs now and we are always thoroughly satisfied customers. Weve had plumbing work done by Corey, Josh B. and Josh T. and all of them were a pleasure to work with, knowledgeable, and extremely patient with any of our questions or concerns. If we ask about upgrades or new fixtures, they are happy to provide information without any pressure. Anytime we need plumbing or HVAC service we dont hesitate to call Chapman and recommend them to friends and neighbors.

    First off, I appreciate that techs will put on boot covers. My unit is in basement, with concrete floor, so I tell them not to worry about it. Second, Iā€™ve had several techs come out and all are very nice and professional. They let me know what theyā€™ve done, offer suggestions on improving system or equipment. They donā€™t force anything on you, they offer things up that may help improve performance or protect systems. As a Chapman member, you get discounts on equipment. More than pays for itself.

    Service Technician, Sam, and Tony Hall, Service Manager with Chapmans were awesome! They did a thorough job of inspecting and testing our system. They showed us Chapmans new products, that we could research and get back with them if interested - no sales pressure!     Ive been using Chapman since they installed our new HVAC a few years ago. Theyve always been great to work with and today was no different. Our technician Samuel worked on a winter tune up for us and did a great job inspecting all of our equipment, replacing our filter and getting us ready for the winter.

    In our basement a large portion of our air duct collapsed. It was about 15 feet! The holidays were coming fast and we needed quick service. We called on Sunday and left a message. On Monday morning, we got a call and someone from Chapman came to our house to take a look at the air duct. Tuesday, Gerald came out and fixed. It was a huge job, he handled it great. Gerald was professional, careful coming thru our house with his equipment and cleaned up the area when he was done. It was a relief to get such thorough and speedy service. Thank you.

    I have a maintenance contract with Chapman for bi-annual visits, and this time, I had the pleasure of meeting Tony Hall, the Service Manager, along with their new trainee, Sam. Sam conducted an outstanding, thorough maintenance, supervised by Tony, of the heating equipment and furnace. He made recommendations based on his observation and my needs without making it a ā€œsales pitchā€. Both were cordial, pleasant, and respectful throughout the visit and left a lasting impression. Chapman is lucky to have such knowledgeable and caring Service Manager, Tony and Service Tech, Sam. Thank you, Tony, Sam for a great job and taking good care of our furnace.

    We have recently been using the comfort club and we like it. They stop by twice a year and inspect and clean your heating and AC system. It is like getting your oil changed on your car. Routine maintenance to ensure it works and you do not have large expenses down the road. Christian stopped by today and showed me a few things I could do on our split unit to keep it running at optimum efficiency. He is just one of the great people they have at cChapman. I highly recommend them. Chapman put in our main heating/AC unit about 10 years ago and we want to keep it running as long as we can.

    Chapman provided me with amazing service today! My thermostat and heat were not working. When a tech named Rick finished up an appointment early, Chapman had Rick come to my house, all within an hour of me calling with a problem. Rick quickly fixed my thermostat and got my heat up and running. He was kind and understanding about my small dog jumping on him a bit and was incredibly professional throughout the entire visit.     We had a service call for water leaking on the floor under the furnace & it turned out to be for the worst reason - water was leaking into the secondary heat exchanger. Our technician, Christian & his supervisor, Tony both took the necessary steps to be certain of the diagnosis, explained it (documented with pictures ) and offered two solutions along with their thoughts on the best choice & why.     Amazing experience! Dylan installed a new boiler and water heater system and replaced a ton of old galvanized pipes. He promised me he would arrive at 8am each day and be done in two days. We have children and spend 7-8am rushing to get out the door. Dylan called me each day to update me on the work and was done exactly when promised. Each day they left my house clean and orderly. Dylan was phenomenal to work with and I barely noticed his team of about 10 guys were there doing such a large project. Absolutely will use Chapman again.

    Christian did another excellent job checking and maintaining our Heating and Air-conditioning system. He showed me that the filter on our main system needed replacement, serviced and cleaned our heat pump and confirmed that each unit was good to go. Thanks again.Weve used Chapman for over 15 years. Two service visits a year. Always prompt and neat. Always make a comprehensive assessment of our system. A few years ago just before the holidays when it was very cold, we detected a gas leak outside the house at the meter. Gas had to be shut off and meter replaced so our furnace was disabled. Chapman came and ensured that our heat pump would stay on to keep us warm until the gas was restored and an our furnace was functional again. Great crew!

    Im a loyal Chapman customer because they are so much more thorough than other HVAC companies Ive used. I switched to them after I had an AC unit that would freeze up every couple of years and require charging. When I finally called Chapman they not only did a more thorough service than any of the other companies, they found the leak and repaired it. Never had a problem after that and I became a loyal customer.With my new home, I am again using Chapman and signed up for the Comfort Club. A small monthly fee provides twice a year preventative maintenance and discounts on service calls should they be needed. While they may seem more expensive than the other guys, you truly get what you pay for and the Comfort Club makes it more affordable.Today I had Christian out for the first furnace maintenance on my new home. He was incredibly patient with me on all my questions on the HVAC and gave options for improving the performance of the unit and comfort of my new home.I highly recommend Christian and the team from Chapman.

    Greetings on the phone are polite and professional manner, also knowledgeable able to set up an appointment today. Rick is knowledgeable, explained everything and showed me parts and photos of what is happening.     We recently used Chapman to improve the insulation in our attic. They were prompt, efficient, and professional during the whole process. Part of our initial reason for using Chapman was to take advantage of City of Columbia and federal tax credits for energy efficiency. Chapman handled the initial City of Columbia mandated energy audit, all of the city paperwork, and helped us maximize our federal tax credit. All in all, we enjoyed having Chapman perform the work and would highly recommend them for those looking to take advantage of the City of Columbias Home Performance Rebates for energy efficiency.

    Exceptional customer service! Had a thermostat issue with my iComfort system and I called after hours. They stated that someone would call me the next morning. Not too cold out yet and I was fine with that. Less than an hour later I received a phone call from a tech asking me what was wrong. We spoke about the issue and it had started working again. He said to keep an eye on it and let them know if the issues continued. Wow! So nice to see a company go above and beyond.

    Chapman Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing have always been my go to company if Iā€™ve had any kind of work that needed to be done in the three years since I moved to Missouri. I live in Fulton and we have a couple of companies that are here closer, but I prefer Chapman all the way. They donā€™t make you wait a long time for appointments, they show up on time, their technicians have always been very friendly, they wear shoe protectors even if they donā€™t need to, they are quick with their jobs, and they donā€™t overcharge or make things up that are wrong. Yesterday morning I had an issue come up that was not an emergency. I was able to get a next day appointment, although Sierra in the office attempted to get me a same day appointment, even though it was late in the day, we settled for next day, She is another person that has always been very friendly and polite anytime Iā€™ve talked with her. Dillon was on time as always, and fixed the error code I was receiving on my water softener. Dylan has been here a couple of different times and is one of their best technicians. He was in and out in like 35 minutes. I wasnā€™t even watching the clock, but I know that it was no real time at all. Donā€™t hesitate to ask for him!

    I have been a customer of Chapmans for a long time, but never in this capacity. One of my cats got spooked and jumped up into one of the floor tunnels to hide and got herself wedged between the heat run and the wooden floor dividers. Neither one of us got any sleep that night as I was trying to coax her out in every way I could think of but she was stuck in there and did not have room to navigate as the way out was narrower than the section further back in where she was. I called Chapmans early the next morning to see if they had any suggestions and within 30 minutes one of the technicians was in my basement figuring out how to go about this rescue all the while talking calmly to my poor cat. He deciding on disconnecting the heat run from the whole trunk line and moving it over to allow her more space to exit and he said for me to call him when she came out and he would come back and reconnect everything. After about 2 hours she got brave enough to come to the entrance where I could lift her out. The receptionist that took my calls and the technician were so very nice about it all and very caring about the whole ordeal. Babykitty and I are extremely appreciative!     We have used Chapman for almost 30 years. At first, they were just the name on the sticker on the HVAC in the first (and only) house we bought. Over the years, we called on them for occasional maintenance--because, again, they were the name on the sticker. They solved our problems punctually, effectively, and economically, as well as demonstrating great customer relations.Then, the inevitable happened: we accidentally (but fortunately) discovered our water heater vent had rusted open, and called Chapman. We also discovered that, due to revised city codes, we couldnt simply have the vent replaced; a new vent needed to be installed, and it was time for a new heating and AC system. Chapmans crew was fantastic: Thad explained and linked us with the excellent city energy efficiency program, which provides rebates on the replacements, helped us choose the right system, and was patient with all of my stupid questions; Tony conducted the necessary efficiency tests, blew new insulation into our attic (we hadnt realized we barely had any), and made intelligent, interesting, and educational conversation; and Ellis, Rob, and Noah installed the new system in cold, blowing rain, solved a tricky problem our eccentric house presented that they could have left to us, and were patient, hard- and quick-working, and friendly. This was a process wed feared, and it was actually almost enjoyable--definitely a relief. And the system is terrific!Well always use Chapman. You should, too.

    Wonderful company to work with! Their pricing is reasonable, theyre thorough, honest, and provide quick turn around when you need it. Weve been working with them for going on four years and when we recently need to replace our entire HVAC system, no one in town could beat their pricing and responsiveness. Our techs (Daniel, Chris, and Ryan) worked so quickly and were very polite and mindful of our busy household. We were very happy with their work, and the work of everyone weve ever interacted with at Chapman.

    First time working with Chapman, and Im amazed at their professional, knowledgeable staff. First we had Rick come out to help me figure out what the heck was going on with my HVAC. We worked with Thad who helped me understand all of my options for new equipment. It was only a couple weeks we had to wait for Ellis, Ryan, Brayden, and Chase to come install a whole new system. During that same visit they offered us a free plumbing evaluation and two days later we worked with Josh to diagnose our plumbing ills. Not only was every single one of these gents easy to work with, friendly, and respectful, but they all provided top notch services. Im so impressed I had to leave a review. Ill be loyal to Chapman for years to come.

    Chapman comes out twice a year to check our cooling and heating systems, respectively. When repairs are necessary, they are efficient and thorough. When they are not, there is no charge as part of being a Comfort Club member. Would highly recommend for maintenance and/or repairs.

    We were taken care of 2 days prior to our scheduled appointment by David P. David did a thorough check of my HVAC system and took the time to educate me about my system and on my options. Itā€™s a very old system and the fix wasnā€™t a guarantee. After he finished servicing my AC, we finally feel comfortable in our own home for the first time since buying it last May. My husband has an illness and he needs to be kept comfortable. David Poole let us know exactly what time he would be here.     Our heat went out in the middle of the night and the temperature was pretty cold in our house. I called Chapman and got a hold of someone right away in the early morning before their main store was open. She was super nice! We had someone contact us back within 30 minutes of my first call to schedule a diagnostic visit. The technician, Paul, was super friendly and efficient and got the issue fixed right away. He seemed very experienced and knowledgeable about the heater unit. Chapman was super understanding about my family having recently had Covid and some of them still on quarantine. They were able to work with us safely, doing the work while my family members in a sepera part of the house and they exercised great safety protocols in that regard. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Found and fixed a little tapping noise that I thought maybe I was the only one who could hear, faster than it took me to write this!     Been part of the Comfort Club for about a year. Have known our systems were older and likely due for replacement. They provide great service and explain everything in detail for any and all issues. At most recent HVAC inspection was informed of how my older system wasnā€™t functioning to code and replacement was necessary. Team came out and provided a bid for full system replacement and allowed me to shop around. While they werenā€™t the cheapest, they then competed and based on their tenure in the community and nothing but positive reviews given by my friends and family we opted to stick with Chapman. It was the right call! The install was seamless! Systems functioning as expected and I know if thereā€™s ever an issue Chapman will be by ASAP to handle any concerns. The comfort in your own home should your priority and they made my homeā€™s comfort their priority, too. Worth every penny and theyā€™ll likely have a member for as long as I remain in their service area. Iā€™ll recommend them to any and all who ask for referrals in the heating, cooling, and plumbing industry! Donā€™t do yourself a disservice by NOT contacting Chapman.
