Air Waves has provided maintenance on our unit for many years. When it was finally time to replace our old air unit, we received excellent customer service from Mark and Steve. Mark talked with us about our options and made sure we were aware of everything needed to make the best decision on our new unit. Our technician Steve spent long hours working very hard to make sure everything was setup correctly. Highly recommend Air Waves!

After Hurricane Mathew came through last month, leaving us without electricity and running water for 5 days, we decided to purchase a whole-house generator. Air Waves was recommended by a friend who was very happy with the companys installation and service on her own whole-house generator. After obtaining a few quotes from area vendors I decided to go with Air Waves. Their price was comparable to the other vendors but the unit they quoted, a Kohler model, had higher ratings on Consumer Reports than what the other vendors offered. We could not be happier with Air Waves. The entire staff at Air Waves is friendly, courteous and prompt. Our generator was ordered, shipped and ready to install in less than a week. The owner, Mark Baker, personally supervised all aspects of the installation, including where to best place the unit and dealing with some electrical issues unique to our house. It took just two days to get the generator installed and running. We are very happy with every aspect of our experience with Air waves and feel confident in their 24/7 service should we ever need it. Highly recommended!

I was EXTREMELY PLEASED ....the technician Mark Minor is a treasure...he was professional, and very thorough. I could understand his assessment and I was very impressed with his knowledge. He gave me clear information and what I felt was very reasonable rates for parts and labor with the option to wait or get it done now. No pressure or gouging. I like that he also did not make me wait all day in this heat before coming to check my problem. He was very Honest and I really felt like my AC issue was his priority. Cant say enough...definitely using them again and recommending to friends and family.

Our air conditioner stopped working about 6:00 pm on Memorial Day. We placed a call to air waves. Within a few minutes the owner called and said he would come soon. He diagnosed the problem and said he would get the part the next day. He offered to bring a window unit. He returned with parts to fix the problem. Soon we back in business. Over the next couple of days he ordered the original part that was under warranty. In about a week one of his technicians came to install the new part. We have been happy customers for a couple decades.

When my air conditioner stopped working, Air Waves Heating & Air was by far the most professional of the three companies I contacted. They showed up on time and the technician diagnosed the problem very quickly. The compressor on my A/C unit had gone out and they were able to fix it the same day. It was over 100 degrees in the house and we were suffering from the heat so getting the problem fixed fast was very important to us. The other two companies I called couldnt get the part the same day and Air Waves not only had the part but worked late and got us going so we were able to sleep comfortably. I would highly recommend Air Waves Heating & Air for any problems you are having with your A/C or furnace. They know what they are doing, they care about the customer and they get it done fast!

It is true that a good sleep will keep your life happy and focused. We had been in a nightmare with our air conditioning unit issue for three weeks. Once the problem started, we called the company that was on top of Google search. The agent came and charged $100 per hour and additional $20 for every 15 minutes. We paid around $180. We live in a very large home and keep the house clean and beautiful. He said the units are no good to serve this size of the home and need to replace everything. It would cost us $20,000. We could not believe what we heard. It is a year and half old house.We decided to take a second opinion and called Air Waves Heating and Air. I spoke to the agent and briefly explained my situation. He setup an appointment the same day. Mr. Jim Rimer, the technician came in at 5:30 pm and worked around the system until 7:00 to identify the issue. He finally pin pointed the issue and had to come back the next day to fix it as he had to get the part. Luckily we had that in warranty.We just had to pay the labor and within 24 hours me contacting Air Waves Heating and Air, my AC unit is working fine.Just to add that not only Mr. Rimer the technician was professional, but also, understood our needs and seemed like he bent backward to help us resolve the issue.I would recommend Air Waves Heating and Air to anyone that needs professional hear and air unit repairs with a price that is affordable and reasonable.Home owner: Vamshi RudrapatiTechnician: Mr. Jim Rimer

Mark and his staff are great! I have been using them 20 years ( I think ) and they have always been on time and provided great service and I have always been pleased. I just had to have a new system put in the house and while we were making plans to move forward with it we decided that we would replace ALL the 40 year old duct work so needless to say this was quite a job. Steve came in (takes his shoes off every time) and we talked about locating some vents to other areas to make the best use of the new system and he was very knowledgeable about placement and took great pains to not damage the new flooring that had just been installed. long story short I own a small business and I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and I feel I have been provided with a great product. thank you Mark and Steve.

Eric repaired a Rinnai tankless water heater after a couple of glitches in delivery of uninterrupted hot water. He did a thorough service and Mark was able to get Rinnai to send a blower motor assembly free of charge! Eric and Mark were terrific to work with and we are extremely satisfied. I have used Air Waves for years. I have used both their annual maintenance plan and once, when lightning struck and took out the mother board on the heat pump. They have always called to tell me when they would be there and they were there on time, every time. The technician showed and explained the problem along with the cost to repair and when I gave my approval, they fixed my unit very quickly.I recommend them to all my friends. I havent heard any complaints from my friends that also use them.

I just cant say enough good things about the helpful and professional staff at Air Waves Heatig & Air. Several weeks ago the Harriet Hancock LGBT Center was struck by lightening which knocked out our AC and messed up our electrical system. We were in the midst of a heat wave and already had functions planned at the center. We called Mark Baker at Airwaves and told him of our plight and they came right away. The compressor had been hit and would have to be replaced and I knew it would cost a lot for the new unit and also the labor. HHC is a (501 (c) 3 charity organization and we depend on grants and donations to keep us going and our funds were really low. Mark called an electrician friend of his and got her out there immediately along with SCE&G and they went to work. Knowing what position were in financially, Mark got the Compressor donated and he donated all of Airwaves labor. By the end of the day the AC had a new compressor and the wiring was fixed. We only had to pay a small amount for the electrican (thanks to Mark). Air Waves donated their labor everything needed to fix the AC. The Air Waves crew knows what they are doing, they are efficient and they do great work. Our AC works wonderfully! Many thanks to Mark and his crew coming to or aid so quickly and for and their generocity.
