    Carlos Garcia, the Home Heating tech, was phenomenal. He spent about 3 hours at our house troubleshooting a complicated boiler system malfunction. He was professional and courteous and explained the situation carefully to me. He has ordered a part and will return once it comes in. In short, Home Heating is everything I hope to have in a service company. I highly recommend them.

    Carlos was right on time and expeditiously reinstalled the dryer vent transition piece that was a challenge to get to, above a fire place and behind a wall. A safety note to other home owners, if you have your dryer vent cleaned by another contractor, verify that the vent is working after the cleaning, and not discharging lint in a space where it could catch your home on fire.

    This is my 1st time using Home Heating Service, Inc. Ill be using them for all of my home heating needs now. Cody arrived at the very beginning of a 2 hr window, which I really appreciated. He did a great job servicing my gas furnace and took photos of all the components. I love that he did this! Nobody has done it before. On his way out, he took a quick look at the water heater. Also, I need to replace my gas fireplace termination cap and asked if he would take a quick look at it, which he did. Thank you, Cody! I appreciate your time, professionalism, and great work today.

    I was so fortunately referred to this top notch company, Home Heating Service, by word of mouth from a friend. This company takes care of the customer from the first phone call to the follow up at the end. The office staff is most welcoming & pleasant when I call & schedules me for an appointment, answers a question, directs me to the proper person, or whatever I need. The service techs are exceptional & the tech that Ive grown fond of & request for my maintenance check each year is Eric. Upon arrival Eric always greets me by name with a friendly smile.     Hot water heater quit on Thursday night. I called HHS Friday morning before business hours and left a message. I got a call back before business hours and booked an appointment between 1:00 and 3:00. Kyle called me before 1:00 and on his way. He worked his magic got a coworker to help him to bring a new water heater asap and was out at 3:00. He left my house with happy customers. He did an amazing job and I found him very trustworthy and personable. Home Heating Service is awesome.

    Woke up to no heat and called Home Heating as soon as they opened as I have used them previously. The office staff was very friendly and professional and set up a 2 hr window for that same morning and Quentin arrived on time. He was very polite and courteous and diagnosed the problem as my igniter. He quickly replaced and informed me of everything he was doing. The price was very reasonable and I will certainly use this company again for any problems in the future and have recommended to friends.

    I’ve been using Home Heating Services for many years for all my furnace needs. They are excellent and very reasonably priced.     Jared was a knowledgeable technician. Ive had a few companies out here to look at the furnace, and this is the first one who gave me some constructive information to have it run better. Im unsure why other companies didnt suggest the same apparent fix, this inspection was more thorough (I have filters in the vents from when I purchased the house). I feel like he was more qualified and experienced. I will be calling them again.

    An outstanding job from start to finish on the installation of my two 50-gallon water heater system! The technician, Mr. Keiono, was a true professional! I was impressed with his knowledge and preparedness from the beginning. He had options ready for viewing and thoroughly explained the pros and cons with each option. I appreciated his honesty and insight. On the installation date, Keiono and his teammate, Kyle, showed up on time and completed the work fast! Noteworthy was how they took great care as to not soil or cause damage to my home during the installation.     AWESOME! EXCELLENT! GREAT! We could not of asked for better service! Eric is very knowledgeable. Took the time to ask questions before he got started on investigating. Called the home office to ask for advice/ opinions on what to do on our older unit.Our older furnace wouldnt kick-on the AC or heat. Eric investigated until he found our issue, a tiny piece of copper wire inside our thermostat wiring. Everything worked after that.Walked me through everything so we understood. Upfront & honest, no up-selling. Said our capacitor was running at 9.1 instead of 10. Said it was working fine & it was our choice on what to do. We chose to replace it on the spot. After everything we spent under $200.The other company we had come out couldnt/wouldnt/didnt investigate as deeply. They quoted us $7k-$10k for a new unit because they couldnt find the parts that the tech told us were broken.Catherine S.

    Luckily I said to myself call these guys to see if they work on water heaters! They do and then the next day we were back in business with hot water! They installed two new 50 gallon tanks and it took less than 4 hours.The new installation looks clean and professional. They do all my HVAC already and now I can use them for all my plumbing needs as well.

    Had Keiono show up promptly to assess/repair 2 outdoor faucets. He explained what the issue was and the cost.     From my work with Habitat for Humanity (great organization) I learned about blower door tests which test how well your house is sealed. I did some research and found out that Home Heating Service performs home energy audits for about $600. We had them come out and check out our home. Eric and Cody showed up and spend hours analyzing our house and making recommendations on how we could improve our energy efficiency. The coolest part was the blower door test where they seal your door with a door insert that has an integrated fan. The fan blew air to the outside thus decreasing the inside house pressure. Then they walked around the house with a thermal camera and could show me where all of the warmer outside air was leaking into the house. I have some work to do before winter gets here! Most impressive part in my opinion was INTEGRITY. They were very clear that they worked on an hourly rate and weren’t there to sell me anything. What a refreshing change.

He then also addressed a second problem and carefully checked the likely cause and quickly corrected it. He then checked both the heating and cooling cycles, and cleaned up the working space.     Brandon has been my service tech since last fall (2023), and his cleaning and maintenance of my furnace last year and repair and service of my A/C this year have both been professionally and thoroughly carried out. Brandon explains everything he’s doing, offers tips to keep my energy costs down, and best of all, is very patient and kind with my rescue shepherd who is a little leary of the male of the species! Rates for both maintenance and repairs seem fair and reasonable, and I haven’t had to wait much longer than a day to schedule an appointment time. I am happy to know who to call when hearing or cooling issues come up.     Wow! I called at approximately 8:05 AM. The phone was answered by an actual person named Derek who was polite and professional. He scheduled an appt to have my AC checked, a mini split checked, and my water heater drained. He also gave me a flat rate cost for each.Carlos Garcia was the technician sent. He called me and gave his ETA. He arrived on time and very early in my possible appointment window.Carlos was very courteous and efficient. He made great use of his time, and mine, by doing several things at once. My main AC was an easy fix, so yay for that. Carlos not only explained what had happened, but showed me how to take care of it myself next time. He drained my water heater while he was figuring out the AC issue. While water heater was finishing up, Carlos headed to the mini split I have in a storeroom at the back of the garage. It was simply low on refrigerant and he promptly filled it up to the correct amount.Amazing service from this company and these two people. Carlos was impressive as heck and obviously knew his job.     From the initial phone call, to the final hand shake, this company was professional, easy to work with, contentious technicians, good problem solvers, and were carful around our property. I’m just frustrated I hadn’t known about them earlier (as many of the problems they were fixing were a result of the last HVAC company I had). This company has my highest marks and although you don’t know me, that’s saying something as my standards are high and it would have been easy not to write a review.We live in Black Forest and have mini splits for our ductless house. First, mini splits are fantastic and Home Heating can install them and service them. We will use them exclusively in the future for all our HVAC needs.For this particular project we had a hail-damage claim for our roof. We upgraded the flat roof to EPDM and needed an HVAC company to disconnect, stow, reconnect and test our mini-split condenser. We need more trades run like this company. If you need something done well, right, and with care, give them a call.

My Air Conditioner was 17 years old and not getting the job done. It needed replacing. I got three bids and Home Heating and A/C was priced in the middle. I opted to pay more to use them to replace my A/C unit. Derrick Rose is the Manager and he is the one I dealt with regarding the bid. He is excellent! This is the first time I dealt with Derrick and the reason I went with Home Heating and A/C was twofold. First, Derricks solution to my A/C problems made the most sense out of all the bids. Second, I have used them over the years for heating and have had nothing but excellent service, especially the follow-up.They just finished the installation and did a perfect job installing and explaining how to use it. It was a very smooth process and there were no surprises! Scott, the installer and his assistant were very meticulous in the installation and are real problem solvers.I would highly recommend Home Heating and A/C for both heating and air conditioning issues.     I have been using Home Heating since I purchased my home five years ago and the service is always excellent. They replaced my furnace two years ago and I havent had any issues. Two weeks ago, on a Sunday, my water heater was leaking all over the laundry room. I called the after hours service, and Jake came out. My water heater was 22 years old and irreparable. Jake was friendly, polite, professional, and helpful. On Tuesday, he came back out with another technician (dont know his name, sorry)!But they did an excellent job putting in the new water heater.     Late last night my ancient furnace all of a sudden made terribly loud noises (not usual for the unit) when it was cycling on. It scared the heck out of me so I shut the furnace down for the night, fearing something serious might be wrong. I called Home Heating first thing this morning and the lovely lady who took my call (I apologize for not remembering her name) set me up with an appointment right away. Jared showed up a couple of hours later to check out the furnace. After opening everything up and checking out the entire unit he couldn’t find any issue and the noise wasn’t happening today either. He vacuumed out some dusty areas and replaced the filters and turned the unit off and on several times to make sure he wasn’t missing anything. I was so glad nothing was seriously wrong and now I have peace of mind regarding my furnace that is as old as my mobile home.     My boiler did not come on, the first time I had turned it on this fall. I called Home Heating, who has serviced it and kept it running for years. Brady Mix came out this afternoon, went down in the crawl space, and got it up and running in just a few minutes. Seems like some air got into the lines, and it cut itself off as a safety feature.     Great job installing new furnace!! Ive been feeling out Home Heating for several months... they replaced my hot water heater and water pressure valve. They were reasonably priced (not the cheapest or most expensive)... they did what they said they would do and ensured the job was done right! With that history, I used them for replacing my furnace.     Home Heating Service was incredible from getting a quote, to scheduling, to the actual service. They offered military, cash, and combined discounts for a furnace and A/C install. They are responsive, professional, and efficient. They did great work quickly. Derrick, the sales specialist, was phenomenal. And Marcus, and others, who did the install were stellar. I cant recommend them enough. They were thoughtful about my work from home and my dog who struggles with strangers, were crazy polite and very personable, and walked me through everything before leaving.

    Dusty was the nicest technician I have met. He was polite. Always called to follow up on the part order ETA. Kept me informed on pricing. I had a previous company do the repairs on my tankless water heater. They barely would speak to me via phone, always had to call back 24-48 hours later but never repaired the unit after waiting 9 days for repairs. Dusty made sure everything was working and all issues were taken care of before leaving. He made 3 visits to my house, along with a rush order on the part. Took less than 7 days to get everything fixed with shipping and part shortages. Prior company charged $200 every time they showed up while quoting an $85 service call fee. Home Heating charged their service call fee the first visit. Charged zero the second and charged the final bill on the last visit and it was only a few dollars more than the prior company billed. They did a great job.

    Dusty J. came out to do an annual AC check and maintenance today. Home Heating staff had provided a 2-hour window for the service call, and Dusty showed up smack in the middle of the window. He also gave us the courtesy to call and let us know his ETA, which is was really helpful. He was able to perform the check-up and maintenance in a very efficient manner. While I was pretty convinced we would need a refrigerant recharge, he assured me that the coolant levels seemed fine, thereby saving us a ton of money. I appreciate such honesty. Thats why were long-time customers of Home Heating and will continue to use them. I highly recommend them! 5 stars all the way.

    Overall my experience with this company was pretty good. The guys who came to do the actual install were polite, kind, and informative. They did an awesome job. My issue is with the sales end of the company. We ran into many issues. 2 days prior to install was told my unit that I ordered (Lenox) was back ordered and I’d have to go with a different brand or wait 2-4 more weeks. Then to be told it actually had arrived . Just seemed very unorganized & then upon arrival the techs were not informed they were installing a thermostat well apparently they were back ordered for at least a month on the thermostat the sales tech sold me. So they had to run a temporary thermostat that had to put a new hole in my wall. Over all pretty displeased with that aspect of the company but happy with the install and so far the merchandise that was installed.

    Starting with my call to make the service appointment, I am always impressed with the friendly and courteous ladies who answer the phone. Chelsea and Jasmine are both excellent representatives for Home Heating Service.The technician, Max, showed up promptly and got right to work inspecting our HVAC system. I stayed and observed him during his entire visit. He was obviously very well trained and knowledgeable about what he was doing and we had a very nice conversation and information exchange during his time here. I hadnt had the opportunity to meet Max until then, but he was thorough and professional from start to finish.
