    Kevin was very thorough in his assessment of all needed items and delivered unpleasant news honestly and delicately about a couple things also, which I appreciated. He was very knowledgeable (think he said plumber for 16 yrs?) and i trust his feedback. He helped me understand how to maintain my water softener (new to us) and explained that and how adding a filter will benefit the health of our water and our family. He also helped me to figure out why my kitchen sink water pressure was so low, which we are VERY thankful for! I was very appreciative of his expertise and look forward to having him back to do some good work much needed at my house on those items we discussed. Thank you Kevin for being so awesome!     Called Thurgood first thing this morning and they had some out so quick without a hesitation . Kevin came out and had the issue figured out and fixed before we knew it. He was a great communicator and personable. Told us some other things to watch out for and other fixes we should get done but all around a great guy to help us out. We appreciate and will continue to use Thurgood for all our plumbing issues in the future.

    We had a great experience with Thurgood Plumbing & HVAC. Chuck was so helpful and accommodating. Due to an unexpected leak in a basement pipe emitting a fine spray that had left a significant amount of water in one area before we saw it, we were frantic to get it fixed immediately. Chuck made the necessary arrangements to get us service promptly and without hefty additional fees. Thurgood Plumbing is definitely on the top of our list for plumbing services :)

Kevin arrived promptly and not only replaced my garbage disposal efficiently but helped me with a couple of other issues I had.     This was a remarkable experience to have 3 large appliances ordered, and replaced in 2 days. After testing my furnace (finding a carbon monoxide leak) water heater (mis-functioning), and the air conditioner (out of order for several years) were all replaced with a service agreement for payoff. They discarded all the old equipment, installed the new appliances and left the house and stairwell clean and orderly.     They came in and replaced the main shutoff valve for my sprinkler system (a some or leaking spots) all while I was at work. Everything was back the way they found it (maybe even in better shape). If it wasn’t for the shiny new tubing leading to the valve you would never know any work was done.

    After having several quotes I finally went with Thurgood Plumbing and HVAC. Not only did they have the best price but they were the most knowledgeable about what I needed done. I had a gas line put in for a gas stove. They were very professional and efficient. Now 2 years later Im dealing with a water heater issue that Im trying to replace myself and I wasnt sure about the gas line calculations. So I called and asked if they had the information from my account, which they did, and then proceeded to ask them a ton of questions about how to do it myself and they talk to me on the phone for at least 30 minutes explaining everything I needed to do to bring it up to code and the best water heaters to buy as well as anything else they could think of to help me. This is definitely my go-to for plumbing and HVAC and I will highly recommend them to anyone all day everyday. Update. I finally decided that it would be too difficult and time-consuming to do the work myself and had Thurgood come and install a new water heater as well as a water softening system. Anthony Biven was the technician that did the work for me. He was absolutely awesome. Very professional and very knowledgeable. He explained everything that he did and showed me how everything worked before he left. Once again I will always go to Thurgood for all my plumbing needs.

    My sewer ejector pump broke. We couldnt shower, use the toilets or any type of plumbing. It was horrible. I called around and some of the other companies, after they saw the job, did not want to take it on because it is more complicated than your average sewer pump. I called Thurgood Plumbing and they got a plumber out the same day. They rearranged their schedules to fit me in and started the job the next afternoon. It was greatly appreciated because we didnt want to have to go several days without plumbing in the house. The job took way longer than expected and two other plumbers came to help get the job done! Shout out to Rocky, Kevin and Todd! They did an excellent job, were super friendly and stuck with the job until it was done at 9:30 p.m. on a Friday night! That is what I call dedication and great customer service! Thank you Thurgood Plumbing!!11/27/24Kevin came out and installed a new kitchen faucet, two new cartridges in my bathroom leaky faucets, a new 1/2 inch pex valve on a leaky valve in my garage, and did a flush on my tankless water heater.     Recently (5/29/24) I had a problem with my A/C unit. I checked reviews of a lot of HVAC Companies in my area. I was impressed by the consumer ratings that Thurgood received..I called and made an appointment. Anthony arrived at the appointed time. He was very pleasant to talk to and was very informative and asked me several times if I had any questions. . He when right to work and found my problem. I was very impressed with him and his work ethic.He did an evaluation on my unit to make sure it was in working shape. The price for this service I felt was very reasonable.     Had a water leak in my ceiling appear out of nowhere. Called Thurgood in the morning and it was fixed by 4:00 the same day. Kevin was our plumber and he was amazing. Hard working, respectful of my home, able to diagnose the problem quickly. Repair was made and Kevin explained and showed us what had happened (a pipe and fitting had failed). I also received bad health news about my dog while Kevin was here. He was so kind to express his concern and sympathy and spent time talking dogs with me. Was very comfortable having him in my home. Everyone from the scheduler to the supervisor to the plumber were professional, kind and concerned. Also changed out the expansion tank on my new water heater, that the previous plumber didnt do. Would hire them again.

    Kevin thoroughly checked under our sink for any leaks. He tightened any loose fittings and replaced the tubing for our RO system, so there would be no leaks. We were very pleased with how thorough he was. He even tested our water & Water pressure. He advised getting a specialized coconut carbon filter That has to be custom-made. He noted our TDS numbers in our water was high.

    I highly recommend Todd Snyder for any plumbing work you need done. My toilet was leaking into my basement and I did not have a functioning shut-off valve in my house. First of all Todd came across as an excellent communicator and very personable. He gave me HONEST and detailed descriptions of the things that needed to be done. He had good dexterity as he was working in small, tight spaces, (my crawl space), which would be difficult and uncomfortable for most people, but Todd did it with ease. Also, a big part of the job was being able to multitask, which seemed to come easily for Todd. I was amazed at his problem-solving skills and how he helped me trim the cost down while not skimping on excellent quality service. I was also impressed at his ability and desire to go the extra mile. He unclogged my faucets for free and gave me good advice on ways to keep the waterworks in my house running properly.     Our service guy came out for a clogged sink and also noted that our water heater was really old (we just purchased this house). We talked about getting the heater replaced and the costs for doing both jobs and had everything done super quickly!     I observed Todd Snider, with Thurgood Plumbing, using the camera the check the neighbors sewer line for obstructions. Our drains have started to to slow a bit so I had them come check our main sewer drain line. The camera showed finger sized roots in our drain. Todd was able to use the proper tools to clean them out and also checked and cleared all of our interior drains.Everything drains great now!!Todd did a great professional job.     Paul showed up on time to diagnose our water heater issue and we had a repair estimate before he left. We also obtained an estimate for a tankless WH and after researching the brand, type and model they were going to install we decided to spend the extra money so we never run out of hot water.     At least five stars and maybe 10⭐️!!!!TODD SNIDER has been doing an amazing plumbing job on a very disastrous rental home next door to me. This neglected home had a failed sewer main in the crawlspace and sewage has filled the it. A sump pump in the crawlspace has been discharging sewage into the yard for sometime now. When Thurgood Plumbing was called out by the management company, they came and assessed the situation and said it was a hazmat problem to start with.Bingham restoration was the disaster cleanup company that came. They did the huge job of trying to remove the sewage from the crawlspace. They worked on it for days. The water had been shut off, but the occupants in the home continued to obtain water and use the sewage system. They had also been told to leave and stay elsewhere because of the toxic fumes. All of the good work had been for not. It was finally cleaned out enough and chemically treated so that Thurgood plumbing could go into the crawl space and make the needed repairs. Now, 2 weeks later, with amazing effort from Todd, the full extent of remediation has been identified. The home has been posted “NO OCCUPANCY”. The project is now on hold waiting for the “out of state” owner to agree to bring the house into compliance.Thank you, Thurgood Plumbing and Todd Snider for your professionalism in a very difficult situation.Waiting for the next chapter….

    Wow! They set a high standard for service. From Shawnell kindly answering my questions to Roger doing a great job at fixing things. They gave me their cell phone numbers and responded to texts. We had a major issue with a broken fitting out at the street. Three people gave me pricing: one for $3-5000, another for $11,000 and Roger did the job for less than $2,000! He recommended that I use American Leak Detection to make sure, which I did and gladly paid $335 to know for sure. They sold me only what I needed. What makes this story all the more amazing was that this happened right around Christmas. I signed the contract the Saturday before, they had it Blue Staked and did the work the day after Christmas. I am sure that they had lots of other people to help, and family to spend time with. For my family, they were a lifesaver. Oh, I almost forgot. They provided a key to turn the water on and off as needed until they could get the work done. I am very grateful for them.

    These Guys and Gal are the BEST! I promise that Shawnell, Roger, Andy, Jake and Jace will take care of you. I manage rental properties and they all have saved me many times. You can trust them, and they are hard working. Shawnell is the Houdini of scheduling. She does a great job of triaging calls and if its an emergency she is going to work out a schedule if it is possible. I have worked with Shawnell, Roger, Andy, Jake and Jace on many occasions and they have always taken care of me. Trust me, I call the plumber more times then most people, it is always hare to vet a company but I have been able to do this more quickly because of the frequency of things going wrong with rentals. Again, they do great work! They are reasonably priced and there customer service is amazing! You could choose some of the other big companies but trust me you will not get any where near the specialized attention that Thurgood Plumbing provides in everything they do!     Very responsive and professional. They got the job done quickly with solid communication. My one point of feedback is they quoted me $600 for 5 bags of water softener salt. That’s a crazy markup for both the supplies and labor.

    We LOVE thurgood plumbing!!! In the last few months theyve roughed and finished all the plumbing in our basement bathroom and kitchenette and they added a sump pump for us. They are very helpful and do a great job. We will hire them for all our plumbing needs!!

    Have used thurgood plumbing for a long time and have recommended to other because it was always done well at a reasonable price this time i thought the job was well done but was very disappointed to be charged nearly $300 for a gas line sediment trap that was only 1 half inch tee 1 6 inch nipple and one half inch cap

    Rocky, our plumber, was very friendly, helpful, & exceeded our expectations. He explained what he was going to do before he started working. He asked me to watch the camera with him so we understood what was going on inside the pipes that created the clog.The manager called & made sure the scheduled time was convenient for us.He got all the details for the project before the plumber came. He called again later with options to accomplish the work & with the pricing.The clogged pipe was cleaned out quickly. The experience was great!A few days later, Anthony came to check on the AC. He gave the same outstanding service and exceeded expectations yet again! This company is a keeper!
