    I needed to fix my furnace. I called to see about a couple parts. Wyatt looked up the parts for me and also helped with troubleshooting the issue. Unfortunately,, after I got the new part, the old part was rusted and seized together. I called the next day for a whole housing assembly and Allen instructed me what to do and saved me at least 50% or more on not having to buy the whole assembly. These guys were honest and so very helpful. I definitely recommend them for any issues you have. I will be a loyal customer.

    I shopped around online for a while before calling Kearsley and found their pricing was about 20% cheaper.     My AC went out on a holiday week with temps over a 100 degrees and lows in the upper 70s. My home was so horribly hot!! Kearsley responded that day and determined that a part would need to be order from the Midwest. They ordered the part and personally drove to the warehouse to pick it up the next day. They installed the part in over 102 degrees on top of my roof. They made sure it was running even though it was after hours. I recommend this company to everyone! This was a crisis for me and my girls and they understood and quickly responded with knowledge and professionalism!!! Thank you so much!!!

    Had the toughest time finding a replacement stove knob online, and all I had to do the whole time was call this team and give them the serial number of my stove. They had it in within 2 days and made it super easy and convenient.Friendly, easy replacement parts for appliances! Will definitely go here first for future similar needs.

    My Theramador fridge had quit and Kearsleys were able to come up quicker then others that I had called and Im so glad it worked out that way. Adam was able to get my fridge up and running with a part he had in the truck but also pointed out the fan was not turning as it should. I had him order the new fan. As soon as it was in they called me to schedule a time. From the first call to scheduling & both visits with Adam it was a pleasure. He was very kind, extremely knowledgeable and quick. (He even listened to my cat rescue stories) Highly recommend!

    My Dad has been recommending this company for years. I completely understand why. The quality of service and professionalism shown by Adam while fixing my dishwasher was absolutely phenomenal. Adam was so patient with all my dumb questions. When my four year old told him that the dishwasher broke because she let in a bug and it went into the dishwasher and broke it. Adam said well thats too bad lets see what we can do to get that bug out. I cant stress what a great job he did.

    I cant say enough good things about this company and about Alan specifically!! He is so incredibly helpful no matter what issue were dealing with! Alan has helped us a lot throughout the years. Weve needed a water heater, an AC capacitor, and an AC fan motor. All of which Alan was able to help us get the right parts for and share his knowledge on how to do the work ourselves to save money. He is incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything and willing to share that knowledge so we dont fail during our DIY projects to save money. Weve saved so much money by being able to buy parts at a really great price, and do it ourselves with Alans instructions. So grateful to have someone like Alan to call and get the help we need for any issue were dealing with! Theres no other place Ill ever go! Highly recommend!!

    This place is amazing! They are ready to help you in any way. From getting the full service done by professionals to your DIY HVAC. Projects they are able to provide the knowledge and products you need to get it done! The staff is super warm and understanding of any skill level and help you to make a game plan. We needed to fix a break in our water line to the swamp cooler. They let me know the best quick fix and priced out a full line replacement. He never tried to upsell me and really seemed to care about me getting the Job done for the best price possible!

    Once again the best place ever to get appliance parts. I called to see if they had my dryer parts. I was explaining it in different terms “and then it has the little triangle thingys. And the spinning rod thing clips in” the guy on the phone knew what I was trying to explain. I was going to buy all the parts and change them out. He told me how to check a specific part. I took pictures and headed down from Brigham. It was worth the drive to get the right parts and the right customer service!

    Alan at the Clearfield location was super helpful. He confirmed that the A/C starting capacitor was faulty and sold me a new one that he had in stock. He spent time with me and answered all of my questions. Ill keep coming back to this store for appliance parts. It turned an expensive service call to a $40 home repair.

    Our furnace stopped working yesterday. We had another company come out and we were told that the part would be expensive and it would take 38 days to arrive. Of course, they offered to replace our aging furnace more quickly but it would cost thousands of dollars. Kearsley located the part for us in Richfield, Utah yesterday, but today when our repairman Roth came by he recognized that the part could be sourced locally today! He had us up and running in a couple of hours. He was wonderful! Great job guys.

    I drive by this place all the time. I never needed to go there. If I had an issue I would call a technician or go to Lowes or Home Depot, and hope I can find the thing I needed. A friend of mine recommended I go here when my dryer was not heating properly. Alan not only told me what parts might be the issue, but he explained in great detail why it failed, and the other potential areas of failure. I brought in the parts that might be the culprit, he tested them, found the problem part, and had the new one in hand within minutes. The one time I ordered a part, it wasnt the right one & they were super helpful & took care of it immediately & they had a quick turnaround.The second interaction, I went & asked about a part for my washer.     We woke up to no heat on Saturday morning. We were unsure exactly what was wrong with our furnace, but after googling and different parts on three different trips to Kearsley our furnace is up and running. We called each time before just driving in and even though their system said they had the parts they double checked that they could put their hands on it before we drove in.     We had a great experience! I came in needing a specific part for my outdoor AC compressor. Even though the part that I brought in was mislabeled from the factory, they were able to quickly figure out what part it actually was, got it ordered and into their shop within 2 days.     Great response time and a technician that was knowledgeable and properly diagnosed my unit. He was able to get the replacement part and get it installed in a few hours which re established my heat. Thank you for the fast response and great service!Update 1-6-2022 - The business owner and his staff took the time on two different occasions to spend one on one time with me to go over a wiring schematic so I could properly install a new ignition control module for my furnace. The part had been superseded and required me to update it to a newer unit. I am very impressed that the business took the time to help me install my own unit which in return saved me money by allowing me to do it myself. Not only have they come to my house to service my furnace, they offered me assistance to do something I was able to do on my own.     ITS A HARDWARE STORE!! I had no idea! I always just thought they repaired appliances and sold diy parts. But they have EVERYTHING!! And their prices are extremely reasonable! They have calking, bulk nails, breakers, extension cords, drywall spackle, flashlights, ceramic heaters, decorative flags, vent covers, hand tools, yard tools, all the random little things you would find in a little Mom & Pop hardware store! And the guy working the counter was amazing! I gave him the model number of the appliance I was trying to fix and he found me just the right part and super quick too!     I called at least half a dozen companies looking for a thermal fuse for my dryer and nobody had it. Kearsley seems to have any and all appliance parts and the price was very reasonable. Great hardware store, I highly recommend them. He even helped me test the part to make sure it was indeed the fuse, which it was. Great service!

    I had to replace the belt and pulley kit for my dryer multiple times within a 3 month period. It would run great for a month and then start squeaking. These parts were not warrantied by the manufacturer nor were they manufactured by the same company my dryer was made by. Alan went out of his way to take care of me by giving me an original manufactured pulley and did not charge me for it. I was able to fix it after that. I have always experienced great customer service and will continue to go back.

    My review is based off of an estimate I had them do for me today 10/08/2014. (I will have them do two upcoming projects for me in the next four to six months) A technician named Steve arrived and walked me through several options to run vents in an unfinished basement as well as options to move a cold air return for a remodel Im doing. In addition he checked over my system and gave me several options on central air. I was very impressed with his insight, professionalism as well as his tips to help me save money. He really took the time to make sure I knew what was needed and what was not. He never seemed rushed or annoyed with my never ending questions. The price seemed very reasonable to me and I will have them run the vents in January and install my central air in April or May. Ive been buying parts for my swamp cooler from them for years. They always had what I needed and their staff was always great. This is the reason I called them to give an estimate for my project. I expect the work will match the service I received.

    One of the most honest businesses I’ve ever dealt with. They’ve probably save me $2000 by helping me to fix my appliances rather than replace them. Last week my chest freezer died we were looking to replace it would’ve been at a minimum 700 bucks 20 minutes at their store and $34 for a part later five minutes to install everything now works perfect recommend them to anybody.

    My A.C went out over pioneer weekend went to Kearsley Center the 25th of July. Alan at the front desk was super helpful,when I told him it may be my capacitor he told me to pull mine out and he would check it for me no problem. I came back 20 minutes later with the old part, and he confirmed that was the problem. If you are a little DIYer go talk to these guys before paying for a repair man. He was very knowledgeable on the workings of the machine, took the time to show me what the issue was and to explain to me how much the repair would be.     Cant say enough good things about this place or the people. Weeks ago we had issues with our own AC unit and I called in and recieved such care and compassion trying to answer all my questions.     My A/C went out on a Friday night, after a triple digit day. I replaced the capacitor 3 years ago, and it looked fine, so I figured the fan motor was bad. I went in ready to spend $$$ on a new motor, but Alan told me I had better check the capacitor, just in case. I drove home, pulled the capacitor, and drove back in. Alan tested the capacitor, and sure enough, it was dead. He gave me a discount on the new capacitor, even though I bought the old capacitor somewhere else. He said that it shouldn’t have gone out as soon as it did. 30 minutes later I’m sitting in my house, with the A/C on full blast. Honesty and integrity go a long way. Thanks!

    I love this service center! I use it because it is the best service center for do-it-yourselfers. I have gone in many times and gotten parts for appliances and also gotten tips from them on how to install those specific parts.I have to say this week when I went in, I was most grateful. I talked to Greg (but there have been 2-3 others Ive worked with that were fantastic too), and told him I was fixing a 50 year old dryer for a very elderly lady. They dont make parts for those, and youtube doesnt have specific videos on those either. He quickly found me the parts I would need and walked me thru some tricky steps to get it installed. He even patiently let me video his instructions, which is sooo helpful. He said he used to fix 3 of these everyday. And he was very knowledgeable. Bless him!As a female, whenever Ive gone in, they have always been very respectful, they dont talk down to me - which I appreciate.     I broke the flame sensor on my furnace last night at 11pm. Had to go through the night without heat. Nobody else around town had the part i needed to fix it myself.     14 years ago my furnace quit working and I didnt know what to do. I called around and every company wanted to send a technician and charge me for a service call. I could read the codes on the furnaces motherboard, just needed someone to tell me what they meant but no one would. A friend recommended Dick Kearsley. I gave them a call and they helped me trouble shoot the problem. Turned out the motherboard was bad, a common problem with my model of furnace. They had a replacement and I, being somewhat capable of figuring things out, installed it myself. No service charge! A short while later the ignitor went out. They had a replacement in stock and told me everything I needed to know to replace it. Fast forward to this morning and the ignitor went out again. I made a call and yep, they had them in stock. I was pleased to see they are as friendly and helpful today as they were 14 years ago. I am a customer for life and I would encourage everyone to give them a call.

    Josh did an amazing job getting the furnace lite for my friend. She is a single lady that needed help to get her house warmed up, I tried to help her light it with no success a friend of mine referred me to Kearsley so we gave them a call. They came the same day.     I contacted these guys when my A/C wouldnt cool. Despite originally being told it owuld be 2 days before a technician could come out, they called back to say they felt they had an opening if I would be available. I was and the technician was here within 2 hours. He even called first, as I requested. Problem was diagnosed within 5 minutes. Part had to be ordered despite the technician and someone in the office making several calls to try to locate one locally. Again, I was told it would be 2 days before they caould get the part and get back to my house. Again, they called the next morning to say the part had arrived and theyd have the technician come by as soon as possible to install it. Again, he arrived in less than 2 hours. A/C was running again in less than 5 minutes. In the end the final cost was even less than they quoted and very fair.In short, despite other reviews, I had an outstanding experience with Dick Kearsley Service Center. They were prompt, flexible, fair and very communicative. Granted, I had a relatively minor problem but I would definitely use them again.

    I have never been to this place before but the help that these guys gave me was indispensable! I called and got a piece put on hold that I wasnt even sure they would have.     I went to Dick Kearsley in Clearfield when my dryer stopped working. Allen was there and carefully explained to me what the likely issues were. He told me how to remove the heating element and recommended that I bring it back in so he could test it. I did so, Allen tested it and we found out that it was broken. So i bought a new one, and Allen clearly described to me how to reinstall it myself. I did, and it now works beautifully. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.     After 10 years the flame sensor in my furnace finally went out last night. After going to two other locations and being told they couldnt sell me the parts because I am not a contractor I finally found my way here. I was able to walk in, buy the part that I needed at the counter. the gentleman who sold me the park named Greg kindly explained a few other little things for me to check while Im in there fixing my flame sensor and I was out the door to go home and restore heat for my family. These guys are all class acts, treat people with kindness and respect and they are true professionals and gentlemen.     My mother in law always had John come to her home as a service technician. He has serviced everything from her furnace and a/c to 3 or 4 different appliances. We were a little disappointed to find out he had moved into a different position, and wouldnt be doing service work anymore.     Inducer motor was failing in my Mother-in-laws 20 year old PAYNE furnace. We knew it was failing due to the terrible noise it was making but it worked up until the middle of January. When it did fail we called someone to come look at it and they checked everything. Recommended a new unit due to age. I decided to change the part myself and looked up intructions. I called several places to find most only sell to contractors. Another business suggested Dick Kearsley in Clearfield. I ran right down hoping to have them order the part before they closed. They instead had the part in stock! I was surprised as I was learning most places dont want to work on a PAYNE furnace. They also had some very helpful advice for installing the new part.     I had tech (McKay) come over to my home on 5/26/17 to summarize my swamp cooler. Everything was going according to plan until he informed me there was a part he needed but did not have on his truck. He also told me that he would not be able to obtain the part until the Tuesday due to the Memorial Day weekend, everything was closed. I was sad, because it was going to be a hot weekend, however; I told him okay. He left and ten minutes after he left , he called me asking me if I would be home (next day) Saturday morning, as the tech on call for the holidays would come over with (Mckay) and they have a part to do the job.     I have used these people ever since moving to Utah 14 years ago and have always been satisfied with their service. They do not manufacture the parts or units only install and repair them. I have replaced my hot water tank three times and it is caused by the high mineral content in our water, not the installer. If the tank is under warranty you get a new one. You will most likely have to pay for it to be installed but that in the nature of the beast. Put down the manufacture not the servicemen and who they work for.

    Very, very satisfied. These guys were amazingly helpful and saved me a pile of $$$. My a/c outdoor blower unit went out and I wanted to try a DIY fix before calling for an HVAC repair. The service guys at Dick Kearsley tested my capacitor, said it was ok, and gave me some simple diagnostic steps. Based on that 3 minute discussion I went home, tested some components, and found a dead earwig that had sizzled itself inside the contactor. I removed the dead bug and my a/c fired up like new. I didnt buy anything that day but I will be back to Dick Kearsley next time.

I called many different local companies and most were more expensive to even come out and diagnose the problem, so I decided to go with a name that I knew and I called Kearsley service. They came out the next morning. The repair tech Laren J. was amazing. He went above and beyond with my dryer. He cleaned out the entire machine, changed the heating element, and even cleaned out my duct work. No one wants to have to have work done on their dryer, but I am so glad that Laren came out to work on my machine. He really went the extra mile (without the extra expense).

    Went in to Dick Kearsley for a washing machine part with instructions from my husband not to embarrass my self. Well I dont listen well. So I went in and told Alan I needed a goobery gobber that hooks to a thingy on my agitator. Alan looked at the part I brought in an said I know exactly what you need. They were like little claw like things on the outside of the ring. Alan and the gentleman behind me laughed but I dont care I got a working washer again for 7$.     My oven broke a week before Thanksgiving. I had two appt. scheduled with GE and they didnt show either time. I called Dick Kearsley and they came the next day, had a part overnighted from California and Mark came and fixed it the day before Thanksgiving, even though he was trying to get out of town for the holiday himself. After removing the very heavy double oven from the wall, he found that the part didnt need to be replace only tightened, so he fixed it and I didnt have to pay for a part I didnt need and I was able to host thirty people for Thanksgiving.     I called to inquire about a part I was thinking I needed for my furnace and the parts guy asked what was going on, so after explaining what was happening he told me that the part I thought I needed was most likely not my problem.     My AC had not worked since the middle of last summer and I was told by a so called pro repair tech that the inside coils were freezing up due to low Freon. He said that I probably had a leak in the system and that he would have to replace the entire Unit all the way to the out side. Since my basement is now totally finished the cost was outrageous! We turned on some fans and suffered threw it. This year after several weeks of debilitating heat a good friend told me to call Kersleys to get their advice. They asked a few questions and gave me some things to try before taring up sheet rock and paying for an entire new one. Three weeks ago today Alan sent me home with a can of coil cleaning spray for inside and a capacitor for my Fan unit outside. Today and every day since that day my system has been operating FLAWLESSLY. My home is 72 degrees day and night and the cost was about $80. Kersleys is Awesome and if you think your getting told a line of BS, Get some answers from thees guys!!!!!

    I DIYd it with the help of Allan at the Parts desk. He answered all my questions.It was a blower motor replacement. Id never done one before but was able to pick up the right parts at noon and have it working again by dinner. I saved at least $170 from what I was quoted from service experts and that was under warranty. Not any harder than wiring a light switch or changing the alternator in your car. The blower slides out after loosening two and removing another two screws, switched out the motor, cleaned things up, wire nuts, plugged it into the board and turned it back on. This is valued by my service contract company at about $300 bucks labor and the replacement motor another $300. I didnt pay that much because I talked to Allan at the parts counter over the phone and did it my self. I cant speak about the service end of Dicks biz but I can tell you that the company I have used charges up the yin yang and does dippity doo. These other reviewers would reconsider their reviews if they went with Service Experts.

    I have used DK for several DIY repairs to my HVAC system. They have been knowledgeable and helpful each time. They have always had the parts in stock that I need and they sell to me which I cant get any store in Ogden to do since Im not a contractor. Nice to still have a local store to help local people.     My dryer broke down. I called store. The lady I spoke to was knowledgeable . She answered my questions and pulled the part I needed.     Great service and they understand AC. Didn’t try and sell me a new AC unit, told me what typically fails and try a new motor starting capacitor first and he had the part for my 22 year old AC unit in stock and American made.

    I would recommend this place to anybody I spoke with Greg over the phone who by the way is an amazing guy very friendly funny and very knowledgeable my dryer was not putting out any heat he walk me through an explain to me what I need to do after doing what he told me to do I brought the parts down he checked in figured out what was wrong and got me the right parts great job Greg thank you very much
