I am so happy and blessed that a friend of mine referred me to Balos plumbing. We had an emergency with a leak from our washer machine hookups turning into a flood in our utility room. We tried to troubleshoot it but failed. We needed help right away because we had to shut off the hot water in the house. Robert the owner came within a couple hours of calling him, assessed the leaking problem and fixed it very quickly. He was kind and very informative, told me everything he did and why it was leaking. I would highly recommend and use them again for my future plumbing needs. Yesterday was full anxiety but today is filled with gratitude. Thank you Balos Plumbing. No more leaking or flooding!

After waking up at 4am to water leaking from my bedroom ceiling, we quickly discovered that our water heater on the floor above us was leaking. Balos Plumbing came out quickly to assess the situation and informed us that it was time for a new water heater. It was installed in no time saving us from the pain of no hot water during the winter. Balos plumbing saved the day! We had recently purchased our home a few weeks prior when we noticed a massive amount of water coming from the crawl space. Upon inspection, our well was leaking. Balos plumbing arrived within the hour of the call, assessed the situation, and quickly made the repair to the water line. While the plumber was below the house, he pointed out that my water heater was also on its last legs and showed me a leak from there as well. We decided to replace the water heater and that too was done on the same day. On a separate occasion we noticed a leak from under our sink and they came out and fixed that the same day as well. We will be calling Balos plumbing if we ever have any plumbing needs and will be referring them to anyone who needs a plumber as well.

One of the most knowledgeable and fair plumbers I’ve ever worked with.We had a leak in our water heater and needed it replaced. Rob came out the next day to check it out and replace it. He asked clarifying questions to get to the root of the problem and was able to explain to me the issue and replaced the water heater.He also helped diagnose what we thought was a clog but he was able to deduce it was a homeowner special we need to rectify by the previous homeowner.Every time I work with him he’s fair and knowledgeable, doing everything he can to do the best job.

Our water heater went out so we called Rob. He was great to work with! He came out the same day to assess the existing heater and gave us options before just telling us it needed to be replaced. He was mindful of our budget and detailed with the quote to replace. When we decided to just replace instead of repair he was able to get a new heater installed that evening. I highly recommend Balos plumbing!!! I had another company come in and tell me I needed to replace the pressure regulator as well and the expansion tank on my hot water heater because they were bad. I reached out to a brother of mine at church and he gave me Robert Balos information. He took time to discuss the concerns that I was told by other company even though he was on vacation. When he came to my house he explained what he was doing and why, as well as what things I should look for in the future. Turns out he was able to repair and fine tune the problems and didn’t need to replace anything. His love for his work and commitment to do it RIGHT has made him my go to for any future plumbing needs.

My drain pan wasnt seated properly causing the leak. He fixed my issues and I have not had any problems since. Great quick and fair! Called him with issues with an out side water bib. He stated he was booked for today and asked if I could wait till Monday. I told him my problem and he was on his way. He Didn’t hesitate one bit and came right over. Fixed my problem right away. Looks great and has one year warranty on his work. Would recommend to anyone for plumbing issues. No extra charge for coming right over just did what he thought was right to take care of a new customer.

Mr balos is incredibly friendly and honest and does not overcharge (which feels like a rarity in todays world). Will recommend the most cost effective solution to your issues. Devine Intervention Today around 6:30 am we awoke to half our kitchen floor with at least an inch of water. The water was coming from the drain pipe behind the washing machine; my son was taking a shower upstairs and water was just gushing out of the drain. We immediately grabbed every towel in the house and got to work trying to figure out the issue. My son has a full head of hair (as most teenagers do) and knew it had to be the cause. We exhausted every option we could think of how to avoid calling a plumber. We plunged, we Drano-ed, we snaked (w/ an inexpensive handheld device), we tried a heavy duty drain cleaner...then literally by Devine Intervention, we had a door hanger advertising Balos Plumbing...now listen to how and why this is devine intervention, not only because we were in the storm of fighting a plumbing issue BUT we live in a row house, so we only enter our home through the back door, but solicitors only leave door hangers at our front door, which we barely notice. Fortunately, this young man had never been to a neighborhood with row houses and called Robert asking why the houses had 2 doors, at which Robert informed him that using the back door is not the right door to place door hangers and by using the back door, its like youre entering that persons backyard lol...so my son just happen to see the hanger on the backdoor after my husband had went out that door only 30min prior. We were dumbfounded...how? When? What the heck? Are they watching us? So I called, and Robert answered, I explained our situation and we had a good surprising laugh on how the connection happened. We told Robert that we just poured the heavy duty drain cleaner and was waiting to see the results. He let us know that he was heading out of town for the holiday weekend but to give him a call by 2p today if it didnt work. We called around 1p and he was over by 2:30p, after an hour or so, our problem was resolved, with the combination of hair and wipes now cleared out we were able to use our showers and upstairs bathrooms again. Robert is so jovial, he was great to work with and very personalable. He even provided some much needed plumbing education that my husband found very helpful. We love that we used a small business company and Robert is who we dealt with from beginning to end. We definitely will be using Balos Plumbing as our personal go to for any future issues and/or recommend him to friends and family.

Rob removed our old, grey poly B plumbing and re-piped the whole house with Pex B including new 45 degree shutoff valves everywhere, new shower valve and trim kit in guest bathroom, new PRV at water supply entrance into crawl space, new hot water thermal expansion tank for water heater, as well as changing double vanity sink plumbing fom one wall to another in our master bath remodel. He did an excellent job at a fair price and has the customers best interest in mind as to what you truly need or dont need. Would hire him again for plumbing matters in a heartbeat.
