    Bryan from Able Plumbing was on time, assessed what needed to be done which was the two pipes under kitchen sink had come apart, fixed the problem, cleaned up after himself. Noticed my water pressure was low and tried to find the valve to open it further, and since my home is over 20 years old talked to me about the water tank replacement giving me cost quotes. He was thorough, very personable, very knowledgeable, and a courteous man. Very good experience. If needed, I will use him again.

    Able was my second call for assistance changing out some old shutoff valves for my house. I didnt necessarily like the first approach, and when Trevor came by with Able I thought he had a better plan and their quote was a bit more reasonable. Trevor was very thorough, and didnt cut corners even as the rain started to pour down. He also didnt mind me asking all sorts of questions which is always appreciated.Able and Trevor will definitely be my first call next time something comes up plumbing related Im not confident tackling.Before and after photos.

    We needed a new water heater which is rarely a planned expense. I called Abel plumbing and there was a sticker on our old water heater.(which we had not purchased. When the technician Jonathan. T. Arrived he was quick to confirm what we already thought and took the time to explain what was going on to me.He also took the time to go over the options we had available. The water heater went into a rather small closet and he was able to make the new water heater fit well with just a few minor adjustments. He was very professional and left the space clean when he was done.

    Jonathan and Fisher did a great job. Service was quick and they were thorough and make sure everything was work properly before they left. They cleaned up after they were done and even vacuumed up cobwebs behind the water heater that were probably older than they are!

    I’m new to Chico coming from Southern California I purchased a mobile home on the outside of Chico and was having pump plumbing problems.By chance, I got a hold of Abel plumbing and they sent out Christian and he was the most knowledgeable Plummer surprisingly for his age and his helper Dakota were amazing workers not only did they resolve all the problems, but I will be using them again in the future for other things that I want to do as I can afford to do them. I will be recommending him to everybody in this mobile home park. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have somebody want to work and and know what they’re doing very skilled very intelligent very thoughtful and I am so happy I’m over the moon.     Update: we had a stoppage...and Trevor to the rescue! He checked everything and let us know what to watch for if it happens again...yes! We mentioned that we were planning to install bidets...so he did that too...but said we would have to give it a test drive... 😉 🤭 🫣 so funny...always a pleasure to chat with him...fabulous job 👍🙏👏👌🫶Update: the shower is still working fine! I asked Trevor to come back to descale my waterheater...he did another great job👏👏👏💯💯💯Trevor worked a miracle on a weird blockage in my tub plumbing. He worked very hard in problem solving, researched the possible solutions and fixed it so that it is better than before it was broken. He was friendly the whole time. Not once did he try to up sell to a bigger more expensive solution. First time that ever happen to us. First honest plumber we have met in 20 years, thank you so very much!

    Chris was an absolute gem that we will be calling again for any home plumbing as well as needs at our familys business! Ive had probably about 15 or so plumbers for various jobs home & business, and he is by far the best weve had! Though this particular job didnt end up requiring as much skilled labor as I first thought (we just ended up snaking the drain, something I could have saved myself a nice little bill), I trust that his skilled work is on par with his knowledge and expertise.He is personable, informative, and took his time, not rushing through any aspect of the job. He assessed our situation, wrote up a thorough explanation of our options moving forward, and was very knowledgeable.     UPDATE: This year 2024, our very old house in Linda needed a lot of plumbing issues to take care of. We needed a toilet seal replaced, kitchen sink unclogged, bathroom sink unclogged, our shower drain was badly clogged. ABLE had to go under the house, replace & redirect the piping. ABLE replaced our garbage disposal that died, Plus, fix a leaky kitchen faucet. Im a DIY kind of guy, but all of these issues were over my capabilities. I called ABLE of course. They are always Great! Fast, Friendly, Professional, Knowledgeable, and Affordable. Our special thanks to everyone at ABLE to come to our hours of need. Special thanks to Christina, Alex, Trevor, & especially Christian G. He was out to our house the most!!! We thank of ABLE not only as Plumbers, but also our friends. Thanks again Kim & Irene.I have had great service from Able Plumbing & Electrical. I have used them 4 times in the past year. Each time they were great! They installed a new toilet, unclogged a sewer line, cleaned, and got my @ 5 year old water heater back working, and most recently replaced an old shower valve (not the shower head) that no longer worked. Every plumber, especially Mike and Bryan are very professional and friendly. Able uses very experienced technicians. They were very informative with a number of options for me to consider.     My wife and I were having problems with our propane water heater. The great office staff scheduled us for the next day for a technician to come out and look at our issue. When ChrisGbbs Arrived on time he was the kind of guy that you’d liked right off the bat. he evaluated our issue and gave me many options and explained each and what the cost would be for a new water heater. Chris arrived after the weekend with a new 40 gallon propane water heater. Since this was a smaller and different type water heater, Chris had to make several modifications to the existing system. he explained everything to me and the job was done within three hours.     At the end of a construction project, I had an urgent need to get a water line in a wall moved. Able Plumbing responded almost immediately. I was impressed with the ingenuity of the plumber, as he figured out a way to fit the water line behind a new bathroom cabinet. He had the line cut, moved and put back together in about 15 minutes.     I had a leak from my kitchen sink. Trevor was very professional and competent in locating where the leak was coming and repairing the problem and explaining what he was going to do. He even noticed the calcium on my kitchen faucet-we have well water and noticed the flow was slow and after trying to fix it recommended getting a new faucet. Glad we got the new faucet works much better. Trevor is also very friendly and easy to talk about what was being done. If I have another problem I would not hesitate to ask for him.

    I was very happy with the outcome of my misfortune yesterday. I had a burst pipe in my attic that started leaking through the floors in my bathroom.     The worker was great knew exactly where to look, where to dig to cut and patch a pipe. Was a Cal-Water mess up. Only down side was cost, its a pretty simple fix, no real diagnostic, I could and have done myself if I wasnt disabled/injured veteran. But the cost was bordering a thousand dollars pretty ridiculous for a simple fix that anyone could technically do. But employee was nice, professional and it was fixed in the end. Was quoted 3-6 thousand to run a new simple exterior line in a straight line, wich is just digging a foot down for 30ft dropping in a new cheep pipe. Simple easy work for inflated prices.

    I moved to the area a few years ago and have hired Able previously for both plumbing and electrical work. I have seen my fair share of poor work and have dealt with flaky companies before so when I first hired Able they came through like a professional company should. Regarding my recent experience (sewer lateral replacement and new waste drainage configuration) I can not speak highly enough of Kyle Covello the lead plumbing technician. I have had other technicians from Able (which were excellent as well) but he goes above and beyond. He knew what needed to be done to fix the issues that previous plumbers had done very poorly and rectified it. Hes very conscientious and demonstrates the best the trades have to offer to any customer. Yes Able is pricey but its worth my peace of mind knowing the job is done right. Im a GC in the trades and know excellent work, and attitudes, when I see it. If youre in need of a plumbing company in the Willows/Chico area look no further than the excellent service Kyle Covello can provide through Able plumbing & Electrical.

    Thanks Bryan and Trevor!One of my rental units developed a leak under the house. This resulted in flooding under the house and the full perimeter into the back yard. I called my regular plumber on a Friday and they said the earliest they could come out was the following Monday afternoon. My only option was to turn off the water in the ally which meant two separate units where without service over the weekend. Monday afternoon my plumber called after assessing the situation and told me he had no interest in doing the job due to the standing water. I quickly reached out to Able Plumbing and explained the situation to them and they said they could come out on an emergency call, but if I could wait until Tuesday, they would have 2 technicians which would be an advantage considering the situation. I chose that option and met them there the next day. Bryan and Trever quickly evaluated the situation and were able to pump enough water away from the house to allow them to access the leak and replace the line. In less than 24 hours from the time my regular plumber told me he wouldn’t do the job, both units were back up and running. Bryan and Trever were nice, professional, and gave me a few different options with varying price-points with the pros and cons of each for remedying my situation.     I called Able Plumbing & Electrical for a quote on installing a few outdoor outlets added to my home. We set a day for them to come out and that morning they called and set an exact time. Dwain was right on time. We walked around my home together and he listen to what I was thinking and then he gave me his advice which I welcomed. We talked about the outlets, running cat5 and the cost of adding a backup generator. Dwain was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me 4 different outlet options to satisfy my needs along with pricing. I pick the option and he was able to complete the job the same day. The outlets will do exactly what I want them to do and are located in inconspicuous spots that we agreed on. Before Dwain left, he had recommended a generator and the cost of preparing the house for the generator. He also advised me on the cat5 cable. All of his advice had my best interest in mind.     Last week Dale helped us figure out a solution to the problem we were having with our kitchen faucet and the new design of the Pur water filters (it kept falling off our old faucet). He presented several options, and we selected the best one for our budget. Dale was very helpful, and I never felt that he was selling. He went above and beyond, and even caught a problem with our new hot water heater that Ramon (another excellent technician from Able!) installed last October. The water temperature sensor was not working, and Dale called the office (Thomas, -also VERY helpful!) and arranged for it to be fixed under warranty. I had no idea that there was a problem. Thats what I call service!!Dale came back today to install the new kitchen faucet. He was on time, friendly, clean, and did excellent work. He even put new silicone around my sink.I would give Dale a 5/5 (or 10/10) rating, it seems like a 3/3 doesnt say EXCELLENT as clearly. I HIGHLY recommend Able Plumbing. As long as they do business this way, and keep these excellent employees (Dale, Ramon, Thomas), we will be customers.

He also gave me an estimate to replace the old main.     Jonathan T and Able Plumbing deserve the highest praise! We had a nightmare plumbing issue when the water main under our driveway started gushing water. After American Leak Detection pinpointed the location of the break, Jonathan cut a small piece out of the driveway, dug about four feet down (!) to locate the pipe, climbed in and repaired a tricky water joint. Problem solved...until that night when our home water pressure was strangely low and our automatic landscape sprinklers would not shut off. Jonathan returned to go over our whole house—sinks, tubs, toilets—to clean out debris that had gotten into our system during the pipe break. He spent hours here and the company did not charge us for the extra day. From start to finish, we appreciated the professionalism, responsiveness and kindness. Truly above and beyond service.     Im very very very pleased with Able Plumbing and Electric. Im a local realtor and very picky about who I contract services with. I used Able on my home to upgrade our panel and trench a 220v for a hot tub.     I remodeled my shower changing plumbing from double handles to single handle and replacing shower fixtures. Unfortunately, much to my distress, the single handle shower mixer was set too deep after tiling completed, rendering the shower un functional. Trevor worked magic in a very small space extending the handle. There was concern sheetrock would need to be removed to fix setting, however Trevor work miracles working in the small space, sparing sheetrock destruction. He was honest, professional and empathetic to my distress. I really appreciate his good work, which was really difficult.     After realizing our home was spared, we also found our refrigerator needed to be dumped. Turned on water for the first time and discovered a water leak from the water valve in the refrigerator cove. Called several plumbers but Able was the only one still in business to respond. There was a waiting list, however Kyle was in the area for another job, but had a delay. He came over to our place and assessed the leaky valve. Original one has leaked before, so he replaced the complete setup making it look like the brand new inset valve in newer homes. Kyle was very sweet, professional, and did a great job considering there was no heat or light in the kitchen area.     The crew at Able Plumbing are AMAZING!!! We needed to switch our house from septic to city sewer. Bryan came out and got the ball rolling the same day I called Able. There were so many things to coordinate to assure the job went smoothly. Every person I spoke with at Able knew what was happening on this job; it was so nice not having to bring someone up to speed conversation to conversation. Like I said, there was a lot to coordinate with the city of Chico permits, fees to be paid, and disabling the septic system, etc Team Able walked us through everything so there were no surprises.     All of my drains were blocked at he same time so Trevor immediately knew that there must be a problem with the city sewer line. With his rooter machine he found a tangle of roots and then used the camera to look further down the line and make sure it was clear. He then treated the root area and marked the location. He gave me a quote for possible future excavation and I was thankful that our lines were now clear. Trevor is very professional with multiple quotes before working so you always feel that you are the one making the decisions. Good work on a complex job.

We called the. company to replace old galvanized plumbing. in our 1950s home. While he was here he for the major work he. also fixed little things as he found them all round the h ouse. Fixed our garbage disposal, installed a new shower valve, found leaks and fixed them. Amazing. 11 out of 10!
