    Wow - where to even begin! Jared and his entire crew were amazing from start to finish. I own my parents old home and am currently renting it out. I had to replace an old (40+ years) gas heater in this house which was built in 1790. Jared quoted me an extremely reasonable price, ordered the heater and had it installed within a week. However, within an hour after they left, the pilot went out and would not stay lit. Someone came out the next day and fixed it, but the same thing happened again. After the next try, they decided I needed a new chimney liner and arranged for a same day crew. Still an issue. Finally, on the 4th post installation visit, they were able to get someone at the manufacturers tech support to suggest something new to try. It worked! Throughout this entire saga, Jared and his crew were prompt, professional, and friendly. They stuck with the job until it was done. I highly recommend Foster, and plan to use them exclusively in the future.

    Very prompt response when I needed an oil boiler replaced.Installation team did very good work and were very careful in removing the old boiler and bringing in the new one through finished living areas. Had the proper equipment (electric stair climbing hand truck) to take the heavy boilers up and down finished oak stairs with no damage.Helpful use of automated text messaging to confirm schedules and to let me know when they were enroute.Replaced and reconfigured zone control system as part of the installation and clearly explained the changes and improvements.Not the lowest quote that I received but very good service overall.

    Our boiler installation went very smoothly and efficiently. Everyone, from the plumbers to the younger assistants, was very pleasant and approachable.     Ive been a customer for several years and thats because they are easy to work with and offer reasonable pricing. Most recently, I hired Eric C. Foster to check on a sump pump. They sent Mark and his colleague, I think his name is Robert, who arrived earlier than expected but that worked out perfectly for me. Mark did some previous work at my house before so I was familiar with him. I described the issue to them and they were quick to fix it and ensure that the pump is still in good condition.     Foster Plumbing Co did all the original plumbing and heating work on our house when we built it in 2012 and theyve done all the plumbing work on our house since then.     Got home from a long trip and found our water heater had failed. Called Eric C Foster mid afternoon. They asked me to send a picture of the water heater label. I wasnt sure why, but did it anyway. Turned out they were able to check the warranty status and find out it was still under warranty. Cut the replacement cost in half. Plumbers arrived at 7:30 the next morning and had the new water heater installed and operational by 8:30. Office staff was super helpful and plumbers were super efficient.

    Called Foster on a Monday morning after finding a wash machine flood while we’d been away- despite both washer shutoff and the input shutoff to our whole house water filter bring closed. They sent techs Peter and Evan out that afternoon. They performed several diagnostic experiments including listening to the pipes and valves using a screwdriver as a kind of stethoscope! I’m calling them the Pipe Whisperers. They traced the problem to trifecta of failures - the washer inlet valve, the washer shutoff valve, and a bypass valve for the whole house filter, were all passing some water when closed. They replaced the shutoff and bypass valves and verified zero flow when the new ones were closed. I rush ordered an inlet valve and replaced that the next day.In addition they carefully got the master shutoff for the house unfrozen and worked it repeatedly to break up deposits on the valve seat and get it to close functionally.These folks are able to analyze complicated problems, explain what they are doing, and lay out solution options. They also really listen to the homeowner and work as neatly as possible. Well worth their rates and I have more non-emergency work scheduled with them.

    Couldnt get the pilot to light after many attempts and no hot water.Called in the morning - they gave me a time and they notified me to say they were on their way - right on time.!     We recently moved to this area looking to replace and modernize the utilities of our new home. Reaching out to some fellow neighbors, we were recommended to give Eric Foster Plumbing a call.We were thrilled with the installation of both a tankless water heater and new steam furnace performed by Chad and Kyle from Foster.  The level of professionalism, high level of craftsmanship, and attention to detail were quite refreshing compared to where we came from before. The utility area is so much cleaner and more organized because of how the guys installed each pipe and wire compared to the hot mess of the old water heater and furnace left by the past owner of our house. In numerous conversations with Chad, he stressed the emphasis of pride in work and this is how I would want it in my own home. Hearing this, I completely trusted the guys and allow them to do their work without worrying. They were both on time every day and kept us in the loop of the progress of the work. After the installation, Chad walked me thru the furnace and water heater and the annual maintenance.And we are also very grateful for Drew from Foster helping us limp along with the old steam furnace for the month of November just enough to get by before the new furnace was installed. Jared Foster, manager, kept us in the loop with everything giving us a clear plan and time frame of when things would be performed. He came by daily during the installation reassuring everything was going smoothly.We also appreciate that all the guys wore masks which again showed attention to detail especially during this pandemic status. We will continue to use Eric Foster Plumbing for our needs with confidence things will be done right on the first go.

    After doing ALOT of research on heating and cooling systems, including taking advantage of expert advice from free heating/cooling coaches in our town, a MassSave audit, and receiving information and quotes from many other companies regarding heat pumps, boilers, and HVAC systems, I highly recommend Eric C. Foster Plumbing and Heating. The customer service from the time of taking my first call to the final install was top notch. Not only were all my questions answered when Todd Foster did the home visit, but he took the time to email me very detailed responses to the multiple follow-up questions I had regarding the system.  I was out of town during the install, but my family gave the team extremely high marks for professionalism, cleanliness, attention to detail, and pride in their own work.  My family even sent a picture of the final result while I was on the road!  To be specific, we replaced a 30+ year old American Standard boiler and 10 year old hot water heater with a Veissmann 95% Efficient Wall hung boiler plus self mixing indirect storage tank for our hot water.  I didnt know getting a boiler could actually be a pleasant experience!

    Eric C Foster plumbing and heating has done a lot of work at our house. Fixing spring leaks in water pipes, patching a slow leak gas pipe, installing a mini-split, replacing some cast iron piping, and most recently replacing our sump pump and outlet tubing. They always arrive on time, work quickly, explain the work that is being done, ask feedback when needed, and clean up when they are finished.     Ive now had Eric Foster Plumbing service my home twice, and both times were extremely fairly priced, especially compared to competitors who also provided quotes. The service is great and reliable, too.Over the summer, they fixed my central air unit for ~$500 or so. They were my fourth quote, and each other company only offered to replace and reconstruct the entire heating and cooling system in my house — a project worth upwards of ~$25,000. Eric Fosters plumbers assessed the real issue, fixed it, and didnt try and sell me a larger, unnecessary project.Recently, they replaces multiple parts of a leaking toilet and bathroom supply line. The price was about a quarter of what I paid last year from another company for similar work in a different bathroom of the house.I dont write many reviews, and this was completely unprompted or requested. I just wanted to repay the favor for good, fair service. I highly recommend Eric Foster Plumbing!

    Contacted Fosters for a minor leak that overnight turned serious. From the ladies in the office (Deb and Linda) to the technicians they sent to our home (Kyle and Kevin) they were AMAZING! The ladies got me on the schedule for the minor leak within a couple of days but as quickly as I contacted them to advise it had gotten worse the plumbers were here (within the hour) absolutely awesome customer service guys! Anyone with an older home knows that once you open things up for one repair other things may also be found, just to be expected. These guys found issues that I was completely unaware of (leaks in another bathroom) and addressed them while here, completely unexpected and so very appreciated, saving me additional damages and in my opinion money since they could have waited for me to call for the other bath in a few weeks when Im sure I would have noticed the leak.     Just had Tyler do a fall furnace check on my furnace and we talked about what do to about the condensate neutralizer hanging off the side of the furnace.     We have used Eric C Foster Plumbing several times. They have connected our gas range, replaced an old hot water heater and replaced a leaking thermal expansion tank. Each time was the perfect experience. They were extremely responsive when our basement filled with water from the leaking thermal expansion tank. Just what you want when your basement has been flooded and you have no water because you had to shut it off to stop the leaking.Every time they have come to the house, all the technicians were pleasant and polite. They have always been extremely diligent and competent in the details of their work. They are professional and neat in the execution of the tasks they have performed. They also cleanup completely, with the work area being returned to the condition it was like before whatever the issue was that brought them in for service. Actually, the work spaces were left in better shape than what they found when they arrived.Their pricing has always been a good value for the product and service received. They are the only plumbing company I use. You really need to give them a call if you want quality plumbing services.

    We had an a good experience with Eric Foster Plumbing & Heating. We have used them for a few things over the years and never had any issues. We recently bought a house in Hollis and knew the possibility of losing power was good. Not only was the entire process of getting a generator setup and installed, their crew was great.     Woke up to no heat no hot water 5:30 am. Put in a Facebook service request describing an F4 Fault Code on my system. Got an appointment scheduled and an estimate within hours. They arrived promptly on the scheduled time set. Fosters did the original install of my Viessmann Heating System about 8 yesrs ago. They keyed right into the suspected issue as estimated in parts, service cleaning and labor to within a dollar goven and had my system repaired amd ack up and running in an hours time. Very pleased and I highly recommend E. Fosters Plumbing. Communications, Service and Repair was all very professional and completed in reasonable time and cost.     We have had a problem reliably heating on of our five bedrooms for 20 years. Zack, of Foster Plumbing & Heating, figured out the problem within an hour after inspecting our situation. Within a week, as promised, he showed up with all the parts necessary to fix the problem, and installed it in less time than estimated. And it works!!! Zach, and Foster Plumbing, were able to fix something that half a dozen other vendors were unable to do. Cant recommend Zack or Foster highly enough!
