    I was unsure about how to complete my project and had him quote it one way and ended up going a completely different direction. He was extremely flexible and able to do whatever I need. Wanted a retaining wall put in and he proposed just grading it, even took a little extra time to cut a section to allow me to visualize what he was talking about. In the end far exceeded our expectations. I added on a few smaller tasks last min which he was able to knock out also without question. Highly Recommend.

    I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Josh from Straightedge Contracting. Josh personally came out and quoted the job right away. He was straight forward with his recommendations and advice. He even made recommendations that could save us money. He was never pushy or trying to make a sale, he was honest and confident. We decided to use Straightedge Contracting not because they were the lowest bid, but because we liked Josh and he gave us the most detail in what to expect if we went with him. Despite weeks of heavy rain, our job started and completed exactly on time. I understand there is a National shortage of block and concrete, despite this, Josh is well connected and was able to secure materials for our project. The crew showed up early and worked until the job was done. The crew was pleasant and friendly. No one smoked or used foul language and all were very respectful of our property. Josh is more than a business owner, he is a craftsman who takes pride in his work. At the end of the job he spent the better part of an hour cleaning up small pieces of gravel out of the grass, which goes well above and beyond what I expected from a contractor. If you are “on the fence” trying to decide to go with Josh or any other contractor, I strongly urge you to go with Straightedge Contracting, you will not regret it!

    Very professional. Prepped yard for a 24ft pool install which turned out excellent (Kids love it). A couple months afterwards I called and talked with Josh about a patio to go with our pool. He came back and installed the concrete patio with built in fireplace as well as a small wall because of my sloped yard which really just made everything come together. Josh and his crew were excellent and I will definitely use Straightedge Contracting for any future yard work needs.

    Gave me a very detailed quote. Was very quick and responsive with contact. Helped me plan out the whole job and exactly what I wanted along with bearing electrical and water. I would recommend him to anybody that needs concrete done. After doing a bit of research, he came in about 4,000 less than what the job should have been.Overall, the vibe I got was he treated it as if he was pouring concrete on his own property

    Josh and his crew did a fantastic job constructing a 400sqft covered patio for our home including a vaulted beadboard ceiling and cobblestone paver flooring. Excellent attention to detail, excellent finish carpentry, excellent communication and listening skills from planning to completion. Also did great job re-grading, leveling, and landscaping our backyard and installing an artificial turf play pad for a future children’s playset. Entire project was completed very efficiently. We couldn’t be happier! Highly, highly recommend!

They did demo, framing, took down and reinstalled a portion of our fence, and build a step to join the new patio they poured to our existing wood patio. We will use these guys again.     Josh and his very hard working crew are amazing! They completely transformed our steep ridged, erosion plagued property into a functional multi-tier graded property complete with underground French drains, block retaining walls topped off with jute supported mulch and truck loads of egg rock. Did I mentioned the concrete driveway extension? Straightedge Contracting exceeded our expectations in every way and would recommend them over all the others!

    Straightedge Contracting is the only contracting company we will use! We had the great fortune of meeting Josh when he was installing outdoor lights for us. He was the contractor used by the company we hired. We were so impressed with the job he did that we got all his information for future work we wanted done with lights and water features. We saw work he had done and we were blown away. When we called him to look at a project for us, we found out he also did erosion control, dry creek beds, and any other job we needed as he was a general contractor. We hired him for a much needed erosion control project. Josh was prompt, professional, responsible and, without a doubt, the best general contractor we have ever worked with. We then hired him to build a dry creek bed down a slope on our property. He gives the most pertinent input and guided us through these essential projects. Not only did he show up promptly, he stayed and worked until completion, despite the 105 degree real feel temperatures! Straightedge is our go to contractor and we have already let him know that we have several other jobs for him. If you want a reliable, highly qualified professional, Josh is the only one we would recommend. It is so difficult to find someone of his caliber. We are so grateful that we did!!     Straightedge Contracting was amazing! Josh, the owner was in constant contact with us about any concerns he had. They were also very prompt, on time, and efficient. They were such hardworkers, despite the extremely high temps they worked from sunrise until evening to get the job done in a timely way only taking a small lunch break everyday. They fixed the concrete around our pool that was cracked and sinking into the ground. They also built a diverting ditch with river stone to divert the rain water from our pool, and its beautiful. They cleaned up any debris, not leaving a mess in our yard, and they even planted grass seed where the grading was done. They take a lot of pride in their work and how it looks when they are done and how it will look later on. They do great work that looks amazing and are extremely professional, hardworking, and honest. Its great to find a great company that you can truly trust!
