I had a hole in the pipe under my kitchen sink. Edwin was polite and seems to have done good and timely work (just completed). I do feel like roto rooter charged a lot for the presumptive price (is labor really $440/hr?) and it was necessary to haggle to get the price down, which I didn’t enjoy. Edwin agreed to a quite significant price reduction, though in the end I still think it was quite expensive. Why does it have to be this way with plumbing work?

I gave the 5 stars for the job done but the hourly rate of over $400 plus is insanely expensive in addition to almost $700 dollars in parts cost. I did not expect to spend almost $2,200 dollars to just replace the pipes for two sinks and a disposal installation. I have friends in Portland had the same work done for merely $300, given this is New York and I expected the cost be double but never would see it to be 7 times more expensive, it hurts. I would definitely sort for more bids in the future for sure. Very unreasonable pricing for jobs like this.

A leaking valve, which connects a water supplying pipe with the toilet was accidentally discovered in our bathroom on Sunday, and this issue required an immediate repair. Edwin did a great job - the repair work was done very neatly, he clearly communicated about his findings throughout the process and took his time to make sure that the issue has been fully resolved. You want to talk about 5 star service… within 45 minutes of my phone call, roto rooter was at my home, FORTY FIVE MINUTES!! The gentleman plumber Sal… and I say gentlemen because he was very respectful, informative and knowledgeable of the issues that were in hand. I had one of the most amazing experiences today. My main sewer line keeps on clogging. Every few years we have someone come out to clean and clear it. In all my time I never had an experience as good as I had today. A knowledgeable plumber Vincent came out he was so patient and thorough. He spent a total of 4 hours at my place. Ive never seen someone so dedicated to his trade. In the end he recommended we get a camera to make sure we fix the problem properly. He called another crew and they came within 15 minutes. Amet and his colleague with the camera (Didnt catch his name) found one more clog and together they made sure every last clog was cleaned. They didnt leave till we tested and made sure everything was clean.The team was truly something amazing!! Highly recommend.

A night call was made to plumbing Roto- Rooter because we had a water back up comming out of shower floor drain pipe located in the main floor. The phone representative told us that a technician would be there at our home within the two hour window. In less than 20 minutes a service technician named Mr. Oleksill Kovalov 7025 arrived and conducted a free estimate. He was very professional and explained that repairs would be $700 and that he would offer us a discount of a $100 and that the total cost would be $600 to clean the sewer lines which was clogged. Since it was late and people needed to use the bathroom in the house we decided to proceed. We asked him to please use appropiate equipment and to take care in not destroying our sewer pipes because we only had two main cloggs since we purchased this home in 2000. We tried our best in caring and preventing these incidents. The Technitian found some few tissue cloth wipes which caused the problem. He cleaned it and gave us 6 months warranty. May the lord Jesus bless and keep him and his entire family safe. We have decided to give him and his entire company 5 stars for beyond Excellent Customer Service and workmanship. The technician was very helful, patient and he explained the entire process.. I also believe people have to be more careful with cleaning or baby wipes. It can cause serious plumbing issues for homeowners and the environment.
