8/23/24 - I left a review 2 years ago, and the quality, responsiveness and professionalism is still great! 2 weeks ago Chris came to fix a leak that was coming from the first floor bathroom down to the basement. Today I had to call them again to install a new valve to connect the water line to my new fridge because the old fridge died suddenly. Shoutout to Mackenzie for squeezing me in today! Thank you to all for such great customer service!Jerry and Chris are great! Super quick reply after I filled out their form online - so quick I was shocked. Excellent communication if they were running late. I appreciate how Jerry stood in my kitchen as he contemplated how to fix my leaking stack pipe problem without having to break through the entire wall. He gave me the best case scenario and the worst case scenario and I asked him the prices for both. Turns out once he made a cut in the wall behind my dishwasher, he could fix the problem with the best case scenario, and to my delight he even charged me less than hed originally told me. (I had gotten a previous quote from another plumber, who recommended busting the wall in my kitchen to get to the pipe and I saved twice the amount of $$$ by hiring Jerry and Chris instead). They also finished the job sooner than was expected - they returned from picking up the supplies needed at 8:30pm, replaced the old pipe with a new one and were done and walking out of my door at 10pm. I highly recommend them and would ABSOLUTELY use them again.

Jerry and CID were a breath of fresh air after I was unable to get responses from not one but two plumbers that came recommended. He was responsive, efficient and asked good questions. My hats off as hes obviously out there working hard- his estimate was sent over after 9pm. On the day of the job, his brother Chris came over to get things going and the guys did the tasks as promised (installed shutoff valves, installed kitchen faucet, hooked up a dishwasher). Everything looks and works great! In my case, we knew we would have to shut the building water off, and everything went to plan i.e. they gave an estimate on how long the water would need to be off, and they met that estimate. They definitely have a well take care of you vibe. And CID is certainly living up to its all 5 star reviews- as they get one from me. Gotta love the hustle of a small business owner.

I sent him a few pictures and a video and he was able to tell quickly what the issue was and provided some options with estimates. We ended up going with replacing the toilet because it was already very old. He came the very next day with the new toilet, removed the old one and installed the new toilet within 1.5 hours. Terrific job, very professional and left everything spotless. I highly recommend them if you need a plumber.

Jerry came out as soon as he could to take a look at our pipes and realized they were an unusual size he didnt have the right caps for.He immediately began searching stores nearby to find the right caps, but they werent in stock anywhere but one plumbing supply store on Staten Island (were in Brooklyn). Luckily, CID had a job on SI the next day, so they were able to pick those up before coming back for our rescheduled repair. Once here, they were in and out in a matter of minutes - not because they rushed, but because they know what theyre doing and theyre efficient at doing it.Before heading out, Jerry checked with me to make sure I was satisfied with the work, we arranged for the payment, and they were on their way to their next lucky customer.I rent, so I hope to never have to call my own plumber, but I know that in any situation that calls for one, CID will be my go-to.
