I came downstairs to parents basement to find 3inches of water in it… I called Main Water and Sewer Repair they immediately got back to me told me they will be there in the morning….. the next day they had the surveyors marking out gas and cable a tow truck to move any cars in the way…. They showed up and started right away had the holes dug and the new water line installed within hours…. Once water line was replaced they patched the sidewalk perfectly then patched the asphalt cleaned up as if they were never there….. I highly recommend them!!!! …. they are no nonsense fast thorough and very professional the crew was run by David who had the men hustling to get the best job finished

Had a small but concerning water leak, near main water line before the water meter. They came out same day, assessed main water line needs to be replaced. Had a brand new copper water main line (existing was lead) installed the next day. It was a major job they had to dig the streets and repave. All was done in one day. I was very happy with the quick service. They left as if they were never here. Everything was left clean and tidy.

I was referred to this company to repair a water main that was leaking from the street into one of our building. The did the repair within 24 hours and made sure to communicate with our tenants why the water was shut off. They cleaned up all the debris left from the job and Scott did an amazing job of communicating with our company each step of the way. I would definitely use their company again.

After years of drinking bottled water and enduring sewage backups my wife and I decided to bite the bullet and replace our old clay sewer line and our lead water line as well as our deteriorated house trap. I shopped around and got 3 proposals from reputable plumbing companies and in the end we settled on Main Man and that turned out to be a good decision. Scott gave me a reasonable proposal in a short time and Main Man’s construction foreman David Reyes did a great on site job to knock off the large amount of work in two days. My old clay sewer line was in bad condition and packed with tree roots – the cast iron replacement piping should last for a long time. Although the work wasn’t cheap this is not the kind of project you want to hire a low ball contractor for. Main Man did a great job and finished the work more quickly than I expected.

Had a significant leak in our water main in Brooklyn. Main Man was assigned to the job by American water resource insurance, which covered the costs completely. Eli dealt directly with them so it was completely painless for us. Work was scheduled the day after the leak diagnosed. They arrived promptly at 8:30, moved parked cars to dig into the street, with a second hole in our sidewalk. Work was done quickly and efficiently, cleaning as they went, and wrapped up by 3:00. Asphalt and concrete repairs were well done. They even fixed the cement job after the most oblivious woman in the world walked right through the wet cement!Consider ourselves lucky that these guys were contracted for the job and would easily hire them back if the need arises.

TLDR: Job=replace lead water main residential, Quick response to inquiry, Fast and safe work, great communication, VERY clean, competitive price for a big job (which they make look so easy)After searching for a plumber to replace my water main because of a notice from DEP I found Main Man Water Works. (After calling several different companies which came and wanted to either do a partial quick fix or the one company that literally said our prices start at $32K 😳) I was hesitant at first because Scott initiated the estimate through text messages and requested photos (I’m used to having the plumber come to the house and give a quote). I sent him the photos, he gave me a price but before I paid any deposit I told him I wanted to talk on the phone first. We spoke on the phone and he explained the whole process from start to finish. He gets the permits from DEP and DOT (once he has them he sends you the copies) I send the deposit. Then he schedules the guys to come out. He said it would take 2 days, they finished in 1 day. The entire crew was about 7 guys they arrived earlier than expected and went straight to work. I stayed to watch and the supervisor David answered all of my questions throughout the work. Afterwards we checked the water, no leaks, everything was working. They filled in both holes, repaved the street, cemented the sewer trap where the new line comes in, and even put the bricks for my garden back (looks better than before). David is the best foreman who made all super success!They performed drain connection repair in middle of W 4th street here in Brooklyn,repairing a city issued mandated work.They excavated nine feet deep trench in the middle of the street, using excavator, multiple trucks, multiple plumbers present and laborers.They cleared out parked cars, performed work, coordinated with city inspector to inspect repaired connection before filling that nine foot deep excavated trench and restored complete road surface as before, putting cones to protect from traffic until it properly sets.They also took pictures, videos and documentation provided for my insurance reimbursement.This company performed monumental job super smooth and seamless AND at a the best price. They are amazing and highly recommend!

DEP came out to fix our Water Meter and indicated we had to clean up the Sewer Pit as there was a leak and lots of bugs. Scotts team came out and confirmed we had a hole in our sewer line and an old configuration of the sewer line going out. We also had a consistent bad smell in the basement for years. Scott gave us a quote (which was reasonable for the work required) and had someone out in 2 days to complete the repair.Work was done well though I did ask them to come out the next day to clean up some of the cement work. Scott had someone out immediately to do the clean up.After a few months, DEP finally came out to re-inspect and we passed! Very easy working with Main Man for the repairs and they made a stressful issue go away!Photos Before - you can see all the dirt in the bottom of the pit, gaps in bricks where bugs were living, and constant water in bottom of pit.Photo After - Main Man repaired the leak and put in the appropriate cover/configuration, coated the bricks with cement and closed the gaps. No more bugs and smell!

Professional good quality work at a good value!! After having sewer back ups for sometime and finding out that the Insurance we were paying thru the DEP was a waste of time and money we decided we really didnt have much choice but to replace the sewer. I initially dealt with Scott (the owner) and he was very responsive, courteous and not pushy or aggressive in trying to sell his services. He was very transparent about the estimate to replace about 10 of sewer pipe and other factors that could come into play that may require additional repairs. When his crew (Ed & David) showed up, they went right to work and fixed the problem. David showed me where the issue was with the broken pipe after they dug up the ground. I really appreciated the fact he took the time to explain what caused the waste pipe to separate in the first place (old rock weighing over 500 lbs abutting against the pipe!) and what the job to repair/replace existing pipe would be.The job was completed in less than 3 hours and the crew did a good job putting the dirt back, saving my sidewalk and front stoop and not leaving a mess! My next door neighbor complimented how organized and efficient they were and I agreed 100%.I highly recommend speaking with Scott and team should anyone ever need to address their water main and sewer line issues. They are bonded, insured and pulled the proper permits with DOT as evidenced by copies provided to me by Scott before the job was started. Thank you Scott and team! Good job!

I contracted Main Man Water Works & Sewer Service the right before the 4th of July weekend. I already had a celebration organized and was very nervous to see my water main was leaking out in the street and my water pressure inside was very low.I thought it was something the DEP was responsible for so I dialed 311, they sent an inspector over and advised me that this was my responsibility and that I had to call a plumber. They gave me only 3 days to fix it...I found Mr. Keritys website over google and checked out his Facebook page to make sure he was legitimate. After reading all the positive reviews, I gave them a call. When I called he was very professional and came out within the hour to give a free estimate.From signing the contract to restoration of the street and sidewalk, everything was handled with such courtesy and attentiveness to the deadline of my upcoming holiday celebration. The men arrived on time, professional, well spoken, and hard working, with none of the nonsense that you often see with plumbing or construction workers hanging out at job sites standing around doing nothing. They came in clean uniform and left filthy from all of the extensive work that was done, and always with a smile when they came to discuss updates.I have recommended these guys to my entire family. They service Queens and Brooklyn, Im not exactly sure about the other boroughs but it wont hurt to call and ask.My mother has also used them to repair her sewer that collapsed due to the tree roots breaking through her old clay sewer, they replaced it with a type of cast iron.
