We had a clog right during a weekend where the house was full. It was a Sunday so many shops were closed. Luckily, Optimus was open and able to rush over within 2 hours.The plumber was very nice and immediately put on shoe covers to keep the house clean. I really appreciated how considerate this was. He was quick and professional, helping us fish out the cap that fell in. I will definitely keep his number for any future plumbing needs.

Last Sunday, my hot water tank started to leak. I started to look for a plumbing company to replace it because it was flooding my basement.After a few failed calls to different companies I found out that nobody worked on Sunday. The plumbers were nice guys who really done the job very well.Other plumbers spoke about needing scaffolding and cutting through my ceiling when they didnt.The downsides were the took a little longer than anticipated and they didnt use any sheets on my floor but as they were decent guys and I would ask for them again if I had problems with my boiler.

Moms house was having plumbing issues: toilet, shower backing up...no buenoWith mom stressing that her house is falling apart and slowly getting anxious by the minute I was extremely fortunate to find Optimus Plumbing . Called at 8:30 am, told them about the situation and the owner, He rearranged their schedule to fit me in the next hour. Unbelievable!Alex and Vadim came over and were super friendly, courteous, professional and kept me informed what was being done. I thought it would be a simple snaking to clear the clog but ended up having to replace an extremely corroded section of galvanized piping. Ugh! (mom stressing more!) Fortunately, they were able to rearrange their schedule (again) to ensure it could be done today. I spoke with Viorel at Optimus Plumbing and he credited the second visit to better clean the line. I can understand the issues with a short warranty on clearing clogs (including old plumbing and continued customer misuse). At the same time, it wasnt out of line for us to expect a better job cleaning our newer drain line.I vacillated between four and five stars, with four due to taking two tries to clean the line, but as I commented earlier, everyone I dealt with there was professional. They were able to respond quickly and their price wasnt out of line so Im going with five stars this time. I would consider using them again in the future, particularly for a larger job.

Called after 10PM on a cold, rainy night and Viorel was at my house 20 mins. later. A new water heater was required and he was back at 8AM the next day with the new heater and did the install. He also took the time to look at the boiler and made sure that was running at 100% as well. He worked very hard, was kind enough to explain everything I asked about, and he was very patient and put up with my terrible hearing, a great guy.Had to call him back 4 days later for an unrelated problem and he came after spending the day somewhere else. Definitely recommend if you need anything done quickly and esp. on an emergency basis- which is usually the case. Will use again.
