    Had a gas leak which required national grid to come shut the gas off. My tenants WENT CRAZY! We didn’t know what to do. Nationwide plumbers sent over a QUAL 87 certified master plumber to make the repair on the header THE NEXT MORNING!!! I couldn’t believe it. Within 24 hours , repair made, gas turned back on, problem solved. Highly recommend nationwide plumbers for gas repairs. They are so knowledgeable, so professional, over qualified, and super punctual! 👏 thank you guys for everything!!

    I desperately needed a leak from my kitchen faucet fixed. Not only were they available same day but they show up in the time frame told to me and were courteous, quick, and efficient.     Krista and Yohan were great with setting up the appointment and getting the docs I needed to satisfy the co-op rules. Kevin and John arrived on time and installed the gas stove and toilet I had purchased. Both were very friendly and cordial.     We were initially going to use another company and I did not feel comfortable with request for pre-payment and Im so glad I decided to search again to find Nationwide. First contact with David and he was responsive and helpful with questions. Now seeing other reviews and I was not aware he is the Pres/Owner. Impressed that he went out of his way as if he was someone in customer service. Responded after hours as well. Krista was also beyond helpful with questions and she has extensive knowledge in how to work with co-op buildings which is what we needed. I would not hesitate to recommend and contact them again.

    I dont usually write reviews, but, in light of the extraordinary service that was provided me at a reasonable price by Nationwide Plumbers, I feel I must recognize the great job they did and let others know about it. Krysta, the manager, who answers the phone when you call their number, was superb--professional, pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The plumbers/technicians were highly skilled and explained the details of what they were doing. And they solved the problem quickly. (Shout out to Orjan B. and his able assistant Joe! Many thanks, guys!) I should add that I get an appointment the following day after I called. The plumbers determined that I needed a new pump, which they installed the next day. Im extremely appreciate of the wonderful service and care I received from Nationwide Plumbers. I highly recommend them.

    I am very grateful to the Nationwide Plumbers for resolving my complicated problems. After the earthquake in NYC on April 5th I had a gas leak in the basement of my 100-year old house in Manhattan. ConEdison shut down gas and gave me a long list of violations. It was terrifying. I interviewed three companies, talked to a lot of people and read a lot of reviews. I chose Nationwide Plumbers. They were recommended as very honest, experienced and fully bonded and insured. Estimate was of course, a factor, but I really appreciated the way the treated me. I needed to understand what happened and what needs to be done to get gas back on. Project manager Yohan spent a lot of time patiently explaining what needs to be done step by step and in every detail. I was impressed with his knowledge and experience. I had to replace the boiler, hot water heater, all the piping and other gas equipment, all electrical wiring, remove asbestos, fireproof the boiler room, go electric in the kitchen, obtain all permits, work with chimney engineer, work with the Department of Buildings, etc. it was overwhelming. Fortunately Yohan knows everything and works with specialists outside his company who he recommended. I met other outstanding people of the Nationwide Plumbers: foreman John, master plumber Anthony and Krista, who helped me navigate paperwork and answered a lot of my questions. She is definitely the softer side of the business and gave me a lot of support. After five months of hard work I passed inspections with the DOB and ConEdison. Nationwide Plumbers are in good standing with ConEdison and it helps a lot! Everything was done right the first time. Today ConEdison turned gas back on and installed new meters. I am in a celebratory mood and I can’t be more grateful to the Nationwide Plumbers. They are master plumbers indeed! I have full confidence in their integrity and ability to resolve complex problems. Today I signed maintenance agreement with them, it will give me peace of mind after everything I’ve been through. Also, I am very pleased with myself: I made the right choice!

    We had a main line blockage and the toilet and shower in our basement were backing up. Starting with Johan, who calmed me down in the late Saturday evening hours when I called, and then made his company available to us at any time we wanted, to the technicians who arrived at our door ahead of time on Monday morning I was pleased!     Because of the new gas inspection regulation, we had to find a gas line inspector who would confirm we were up to par.After calling 4 other places, I came across Nationwide Plumbers and spoke with David. He knew exactly what regulation I was referring to and after taking some information, was able to access what zone I was in and the deadline for the certification. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and very accommodating in terms of appointments. They send text messages to confirm your upcoming appointment, which is usually a window of a few hours. They’re also very responsive whenever you call with questions.David was the one to actually come and do the inspection and after less than an hour, he was done. He took pictures of pipes/meters and overall area pictures as well as potential minor issues. He also used a gas meter wand (not sure the formal term for the instrument) and checked all the pipes for leaks as well as doorways of apartments.He was on time, professional and respectful. And eco-friendly as he arrived on a scooter 🛵 but considering gas prices these days….also very smart!!They also weren’t as pricey as I thought it would be (thankfully 😁), which includes sending certification to the city agency… only to do this again in 4 years 🤦🏻‍♀️.Overall good experience with them and would recommend their expertise!!

    My backyard and basement was getting flooded every time it rained; lately even with 5 minute downpours. Two plumbers from different company had previously snaked the sewer line and gave me the bill. The problem was still there.I called Nationwide in Brooklyn. John and Chris showed up. After explaining the situation, they both opened up the drain in back of the house. To my surprise; There was an old Spaldine rubber ball just sitting there causing the backup.All I can say is....I was surprised. These two guys knew exactly what to do and how to do it.The price wasnt cheap, but the job was done good. They left after they cleaned everything up. I recommend Nationwide Plumbers, especially the Brooklyn office on 69 Street and 8 Avenue.

    We had a problem with the bathroom sink. The water would not go down. We tried liquid Drano and even a small snake. Nothing was working. I called Nationwide Plumbing and told them what the problem was. They asked if I wanted someone to come out today or tomorrow, gave me a flat fee and said it would take about an hour and there was a 90% chance of fixing it easily. Well, they were right. They were there 5 minutes early and fixed the problem quickly. Thank you.

    I waited (not so patiently) for 6 months for another plumber to come and fix the hot water heater at my job. Eventually I got sick of waiting and decided to call Nationwide. I am so happy that I did! I called them on Thursday and eight days later I have hot water. Scheduling was so easy! They offer flexible appointment times and are very responsive by phone and email.The technicians that came today, Michael and Kevin, were very professional, efficient and non-intrusive. Leaving the room as clean as they found it when they left.My only wish is that I called them six months ago!Highly recommend and will use again.

    Very pleased with Nationwide! I was at first hesitant due to their hourly rate, however decided to bite the bullet and give them a try over others that offered a much lower rate but in the past have proven to be deficient in work quality. The repair today by Nationwide is an example of that, they fixed the subpar work of an earlier “value” plumbing contractor! What the value contractor would have possibly stretched to 2 or more hours plus inflated parts pricing… Nationwide repaired in just under an hour and had decent prices… I’m sure higher than the local big box store… but not obscenely so. I’m very happy with Nationwide.

    Our hot water heater exploded on a Friday leaving us/our tenants without hot water. Krista from Nationwide tracked down a new hot water heater and accommodated us Friday afternoon to ensure we had hot water for the weekend.     Our building in Park Slope had a leak in one of the sewage pipes on a Sunday night. They called first thing on Monday morning and it was fixed by mid-afternoon. They were responsible and used quality parts. A bit expensive, but our experience has been finding a good plumber is not easy.

    I spoke with Debbie at Nationwide Plumbing this afternoon around 2:20 pm. She was very professional and put my mind at ease. She said that an employee would be at my house between 3 and 6 pm. At 3:13, I received a text from Dennis Giron that said he was on his way. When he arrived shortly after with one of his co-workers he was able to get to the problem immediately. Within 15 minutes the problem was fixed. He and his co-worker were efficient and well mannered. They explained what they were doing and the job was done perfectly. They cleaned up after themselves and I will definitely use Nationwide Plumbers again.

    When I called another sewer company at 10am, they told me they would send a crew no later than 12pm; at 2pm no one arrives yet so I called back and was told sorry we are full and cannot come.I then found Nationwide Plumbers, Yohan answered the phone and said he has a crew in my area and will be there within the hour, I didn’t believe it but gave it a try. Sure enough, less than 40 min later Nationwide showed up, professional, quickly showed me grease build up in the sewer trap and proceeded to unclogged the sewer. I will be calling back Nationwide Plumbing for any future plumbing or sewer repairs - thank you Yohan !

    I am so happy with John from Nationwide Plumbers-- If I ever need a plumber for anything, Ill be calling him. The pipes in my apartment are old and corroded, but I was having this problem where the waste water from the washing machine was backing up into the kitchen sink. At first he thought we might have to replace the pipes.But he realized the solution was much simpler and had to due with the placement of the hose going from the machine to the sink; it was placed too high, and so he repositioned it.My point is John from Nationwide Plumbers is smart and knows what hes doing. He can accurately figure out what the problem is. And he wont try to overcharge you by recommending something you dont need.     John and Martin came to my house to clear a backed up drain running from my basement bathroom, they arrived within 3 hours of my call. They were not only professional and polite, but they knew exactly what needed to be done. They cleared the drain and fixed another problem they noticed and then cleaned up after themselves. But before they could start, they realized that they would need to get to the main trap which was behind a number of storage bins, I was at work, so they moved the bins for my wife so they could fix the problem that day.
