Nick and his team are amazing. This is the third time I have used them. It is so hard to find someone that you can trust and not feel like they are going to take advantage of you and charge you an arm and a leg. I have used a few plumbers in the past and decided to try Nick out with the 1st installing of a brand new hot water heater. Thank God I went with my gut because they exceed my expectations. Nick and his team were extremely professional from the moment I spoke with them to the time they left my house. They even took the time to show me how the hot water heater works. They were so clean. It was like they were never here. His staff was amazing. This time I had them install a new heating element in my child’s room of no heat coming from that element ( that element was from the original plumber I used prior to calling Nick for the hot water heater). As usual they were professional and clean as a whistle. His prices were amazing. Thank you again Nick and your staff. You have a customer for life.

We hired Apple to take a look at our steam boiler because the automatic water feeder wasnt working. The technician located the problem right away and discovered it was a bad sensor. We also told him the boiler was leaking water from time to time. He removed the front and noticed a large crack - which means a whole new boiler:(. Apple was extremely accommodating with the severity and urgency of needing an emergency boiler in December. They rearranged their schedule and installed our new boiler in a few days (price & installation was very fair). Rachel at the office was extremely helpful & kind throughout the process, and owner Nick, as well as Anthony the technician, were both very professional and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend & thank you!

I cant knock the work that was performed. But as a business owner of a trade when I perform a service call I notify the owner of my findings and I let them know of the services being performed and price before I even start...I wasnt given that opportunity. I’d like to leave this positive review for Nick! I don’t typically leave reviews but I was very wowed by his efficient service to help me remove a DOB violation on my boiler. He was very thorough on what the process entailed and made sure it happened expediently before a certain due date. He solely focused on having the DOB Violation removed which I very much appreciated since there was no upselling or being told I’d have to spend more money fixing other things that aren’t needed at hand. I recommend his services to all! Very kind and willing to help get the job done!

Used them for 2 major jobs. first a few years ago for a full steam heating and water heater replacement. followed by using them again a two family split air conditioning whole house installation. Both couldnt have gone better. just the nicest smartest most respectful guys. They always come back until the job is perfect. Hire them!Im adding to this post now in 2020 -- I had trouble with debris in my chimney, Called them at 7:30am -- they were there by 8:45. Diagnosed the problem, cleaned it out, restarted my boiler. Such a great company!!!

Big Apple Plumbing is the best plumbing companies I have worked with. The completed my oil to natural gas conversion is just a few short days. The handled all the paper work with National Grid (NYC Natural Gas provider), including submitting for rebate when the job was done. They scheduled follow up appointment with NYC inspectors and made sure the job pasted inspection. However, after inspection one of the tenants complained of a loud rattling noise coming a few radiators. Nick one of the plumbers came by to assess and fix the problem it took him multiple hours. He was completely patient with my elderly father and tenant he fixed the issue without additional charge. This company has earned themselves a costumer for life!

Excellent service! I hired Big Apple when I had an issue with my low water cutoff coming on frequently. They always answer the phone and are very responsive. They scheduled me right away and show up on time. Their quotes are accurate, no surprise charges. They replaced my low water cutoff unit and returned on a second visit to clean the system at no charge. After using many different competitors in Brooklyn I am saving them into my phone contacts for any future needs.

If I could give 10 stars I would. From start to finish Nick and his ENTIRE crew were nothing short of amazing! They did a gas conversion (best thing you could do) and everything went smoothly. They removed the old boiler and oil tank, dropped off the new boiler and water heater, and installed everything within 2 days. They didn’t even leave a mess. I will always recommend my neighbors and friends to them. Top notch A++++++

Fantastic company. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner , Nick, is very friendly, professional, honest and he stands by his work. His assistant, Jessica, is also very friendly and helpful and always goes out of her way to answer questions and to help in whatever way that she can. The workers, especially Tony, is also so knowledgeable , patient and friendly. I am so satisfied with the quality of work that was done and more importantly, the company stands by their work!!

In my opinion, plumbers are the new superheroes. BIG APPLE, the new Justice League. The plumbers/electricians Harry, Anthony and Hugh proved themselves to possess superpowers beyond that of mere mortal technicians. Responsive, talented, efficient, hardworking and knowledgable beyond, this team lead by Nick and Jessica exceeded expectations on every level.Their courtesy and professionalism turned what is the quintessential homeowner nightmare (boiler & heater failure in winter), into a pain-free and quite positive experience. From initial site visit/estimate through city inspection and rebate filing, they had our (mine and my 94-year-old dads) backs.Bravo, BIG APPLE! And Thank You Again. National grid gas shut off due to header leak mid winter. Big Apple gave us a reasonable quote ($1300) to fix the leak next day. Other companies wanted to charge just to inspect before providing a quote. Realistically $1300 is still pretty expensive but they know we’re desperate the moment they hear “national grid shut off”. Otherwise they were professional and did a decent job.

THIS IS IT !!!BIG APPLE INSTALLATIONS is like no other.Not often do you meet a company that treats you like a family member and see your boiler completion to the fullest extent. I am elated with Nick and Jessica’s team of excellent boiler installers. Big Apple Installations took care and found the best quality of a boiler to fit my budget and needs. Never ever have I experienced installation team of professionals who took out my old boiler , cleaned up with not a trace of a things in site. My home now has the top quality boiler and I have told all of my neighbors and other block associates in my neighborhood. I cannot say enough good things about Big Apple Installations! After DOB shut off my gas, I spent months getting misinformation from various plumbers, engineers, etc. I also got high price quotes and quotes for work that didnt even need to be done! It was a relief to start working with Big Apple. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, super responsive (always emailed and called me back quickly) and gave a very fair price. His team was professional and friendly. They saw me through the whole project from beginning to end. I highly recommend Big Apple!!!

Great Plumbers! 👍🏻👍🏻Nick is a good guy - very responsive and easy to communicate with.I needed a new water heater and some repairs done to my boiler - everything came out great. Clean installation, no garbage left behind.I especially like the fact that they used quality components from brands like Viega, Watts, Caleffi, etc. Most plumbers just use generic junk and walk away!

I called Big Apple Installations to have them come and check out my boiler before the start of heating season. Last year my tenants were complaining that they didnt have enough heat. Big Apple sent 2 nice young men over who looked over my boiler and showed me what could be done to make it more efficient. They gave the boiler a cleaning. They went throughout the house and made sure all my radiators were working properly and changed a few broken air valves. This is not the first time Ive used Big Apple and every time I call them they impress me more and more.
