This company is right on time and very professional they sent 2 guys Dave & Duane I think . ( Very Nice Guys )I did not spend much time chatting them up they came here and asked which way and location of water heater.They knew what to do and look for and right away to testing the components and found the problem within a couple minutes and concluded the Control Module was bad and got to it right away replacing it .They had the control module replaced and hooked back up within I would say about 20 minutes and then proceeded to fire up the heater and it fired the first time they tried it and everything is working great.Its July 24, 2020 and everything is good.I would Highly recommend this company if you need some Warranty work done they cover most brands

This review was revised because the situation was handled appropriately in regards to payment in my specific case where there was no issue with the boiler.I called Authorized heating because they are 1:2 of the only companies listed that gives certified service for the AO smith combi boiler.When I called, they were very nice and tried to get me an appointment right away and explained that billing for service is POR with a certain amount for the first hour and an amount for every hour thereafter, which of course is fine. They were accommodating in getting me an appointment quickly, as with most. The service men that came were polite and knowledgeable; however there was nothing wrong with my boiler and they advised me to seek a plumber. This process took no longer than 15-20 mins if that.I would definitely recommend this company if there is an issue with your boiler.

It was the off-season and AH had stopped doing service for pool heaters, but re-loaded their truck with the appropriate equipment and came by to help. Far above and beyond the call of duty. Marc was also incredibly helpful on the phone, and always available for good advice. A+ service, A+ company-- would work with them any day. Mark and his employees were able to diagnose our pool heater problem and followed through with the repair quickly and thoroughly. Other people looked at our pool heater, which would intermittently fail, but they were the only ones who figured out the problem and were able to repair it quickly.

I spoke to Kevin from the office on Monday and he sent one of his best technicians David & Daniel to inspect my Takagi ductless water heater on Tuesday morning. They were very professional and explained to me why the water heater didn’t have consistent hot water supply and showed me how to maintain it so I can service it myself (simply DIY, clean fuse/rod, water filter) and save from future service fees! The initial charge was $190 for the first hour and $125 each hour after. But usually diagnosis is made on first hour, and if parts are needed usually comes in within 1 - 2 days. But it would be another $125 to put on the parts, and Takagi has 6 years warranty on parts, and you would just pay the shipping fee if within warranty. Authorized Heating also provide a 6 month guaranteed on the work they do which is another plus! Great experience with this company, very knowledgeable and professional, and would recommend to everyone!

We have a Baxi Luna 3 Comfort on demand water heater which was in our home when we purchased it back in 2016. Problem...hot water but NO HEAT. After many failed attempts to find someone who could help us get the heat working, we finally got lucky. We were referred to Marc the owner of Authorized Heating (Brooklyn) by his good friend Phil. Phil is the owner of Phil’s Air Conditioning & Heating Corp. By the way, Phil’s business is located on Staten Island which is where our home is. I left a message on the AH machine on Friday evening, because everyone knows things always happen on the weekend. But enough... I called and spoke to Marc (AH) at 8:05 Monday morning. He was on the phone with another customer but he called me right back. Marc immediately knew who I was (his friend had texted him). Marc told me that he was familiar with our unit (no worries) and explained the service call charges. I asked when they could come to look at the unit and he said this morning before noon. That said, David (technician) was at our home a little after 10. He checked the thermostat first thing, no problem there. The problem was a faulty electrical connection. He fixed the connection and serviced the unit (box). But they did not leave immediately, David and his assistant stayed to be sure that the heat came up and that the water was up to temperature. Thanks to Authorized Heating and their knowledgeable technicians we now have a warm toasty home.

These guys are amazing and my new go-to plumbers. I have a tankless heater that was acting up. After spending over 2 hours on the phone with the manufactures tech support I gave up and called Authorized ( who are authorized techs for my unit ). The guys came even earlier than scheduled and diagnosed and fixed the issue in literally 20 minutes. I’ve called them again a few days before Christmas for a weird noise my heater was making. Again they were prompt, professional, and most importantly know what they are doing. If you need quality plumbing works dont hesitate to call Authorized, highly recommended

With the cold weather that we just had, I noticed that my heat was not working and that the motor on the furnace was running. My cousin recommended that I call Authorized Heating. I am so glad that I did!The furnace was from 1960 and I was positive that I was going to be told that I should replace it. I was very wrong !Kevin, a personable young man, came to take a look. My thought, this furnace is older than he is and he is not going to be familiar with it. Again, I was wrong! He was not only very adept at fixing it but did it in a timely manner! He takes pride in his work and really knew what he was doing.I most certainly will call this company again and will highly recommend it to friends who have a problem with their heat.Thank you.

I called up on a Tuesday afternoon, concerned about my hot water heater leaking water. I spoke to Marc on the phone. He was very nice and informative and told me there would be someone there within the hour. 30 minutes later a worker named Kevin showed up. He explained to me what the procedure was and how long it would take. He cleaned up the items around the hot water heater and the spilled water on the floor. After an hour of work the hot water heater was replaced. I would recommend and call them for future work.
