    I had an emergency at my 99year old mothers house. They offered me same day service at a cost but it was well worth it. They were able to get most of the work done in one day and came back and finished on the second day. This is an old house with a short they did an outstanding Job. I am sorry I did not remember the name of the tech doing the work, while he was young he was knowledgable and did everything needed to fix the problem.

    I have worked with about 6 different electricians in Brooklyn over the last few years and Daven is far and away the best. After submitting a request for a quote online I received a call within an hour confirming receipt of my request. Then I received an email confirmation and connection to the electrician doing the work. They were energetic, communicative, responsive, and kind. They understood the work, I got a full quote in a couple hours and they scheduled the job for a few days later. They were on time (8am in the rain - which is not my typical experience with other contractors/electricians), they completed the work, were trustworthy and kind, they were fast and cleaned everything up. I am the owner of multiple LARGE apartment buildings in Manhattan and the Daven Electric team has serviced all the buildings for the last 10 years from total service upgrades , new risers ,apartment panels , electric range circuits to building lighting and emergencies Daven has served us well . Pricing is far and within market range , they are not cheap however for critical systems such as light , heat and power there is no room for era and frankly they have NEVER let us down yet .     This is the first time I use the company. I was looking for someone to install an auxiliary contact in the elevator room. Jen who answer the phone kindly had me speak to the president of the firm David, and he then connected me to the supervisor Alex, who came to our site to check the situation on the next day. Jack who came to install the device was ontime (6:00 AM !!) and finished quickly. Everybody I spoke and met were very kind, friendly and professional. I will use Deven in the future and recommend the firm to my friend.

    Our nyc co-op hired Daven Electric to do a building wide electrical upgrade and Im so grateful that we were referred to him. From the first walk through David and his team took the time to explain the process and the schedule, and even hosted an in person Q&A for all of the buildings shareholders. He secured materials in a timely manner despite a shortage at the time and even made referrals for other trades. I have over 40 vendors from every trade for the past 25 years working for us in one capacity or another and no company has come to close to the overall value DAVEN bring to the table. It’s a get what you pay for scenario in that DAVEN electric is not the low priced company on the block however they are the reliable, responsible, accountable and high quality company that all others wished they were and for that I will pay up and I recommend you do the same.

    I am Ray I own and run a building management company for over 20 years in the NYC market and have well over 100 buildings in my portfolio . I started using DAVEN electric 10 years ago as one of my clients ( who owns 20 buildings ) uses them exclusively. In the beginning I started giving them on a limited basis to see if they could handle the work and clients happy . I soon was pleasantly surprised as 8 years ago I tuner all electrical work from small service calls , to full blown total building power outages to total service upgrades in large mixed use buildings .     I called DAVEN ELECTRIC for a quote on a small project on Monday and on Tuesday the superintendent Alex was at my location reviewing my thoughts and requirements with me in great detail, by Wednesday I had a formal quote laying out the entire scope of work as we had discussed on Tuesday. The price was higher then 2 quotes I received HOWEVER the professionalism was at a higher degree as well. I decided to check the reviews and ask for references which as far as the reviews are concerned they are a top notch company and when called the references ( provided by the office manager Jen ) I was given more then enough detail and comfort that DAVEN electric was worth more then the price quote. Let me be frank, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and that goes for hiring an electrician as it does for buying a car. I could be happier and feel more at piece knowing I had a NYC Licensed electrical contractor with proper insurance and highly skilled men which conducted themselves like a military operation with gentleman like manners preform my project. In short when it comes to electrical work which is life safety I do not mess around with fly by night unlicensed, uninsured, unreliable companies and you should not either. CALL DAVEN electric and let them impress you as they impressed me.

    I called daven electric for a large apartment ( 150 units ) building in queens which needs a new larger electrical service , all new 100amp risers , new panels and new electric range circuits ( we are getting rid of gas in the units ) and they were on-site in 2 days to review the project and I had a price in 3 days . A Few things I noticed right away the owner Dave and the superintendent Alex knew exactly what to do once I mentioned were losing gas service and needed electric ranges. They offered up 20 buildings of similar size that they had completed and /or are in middle of doing the exact same project in , the gave me the owners names and numbers to call . I called the contacts and reviews were great , I went to 2 buildings to look at the work and the work was on point and I spoke 3 tenants in the same buildings and they but nothing nice things to say about the daven team . Pricing was right in the middle of 2 other electrical contactors who had bad attitudes and poor reviews. You get what you pay for and I am going with DAVEN ELECTRIC on this project and anything electrical period

    I own a 3 family house in Brooklyn on Friday I lost partial power to the building itlsef, I call CONED and they insisted I call a licensed electrician and as I don’t know any I simply wen ton google and key in licensed electrician. I called a few of them on the first page and either they didn’t answer, treated me like I was the enemy or were out right nasty. The forth call I made was to DAVEN ELECTRIC in which I go Jen S the office manager and she treated me like a human being. I explained the situation and she put me on hold for a brief moment and Dave the owner picked up and explained to me what he felt it was and that he would dispatch this ticket to the field superintendent which is Alex S. Alex S called me in 5 minutes and he to felt what Dave had said was the issue was accurate. Alex S explained that daven electric is not emergency service company for new clients BUT when I mentioned that I have a tenant with children in the house and my mother lives here as well and is aged. Alex being a caring individual explained the fee structure and had a truck on-site in 2 hours, the staff member pinpointed the issue, temporarily e-wired the building and called con ed. Con ed showed up in 2 hours and permanently corrected the matter as it was an issue in the man hole on there end. The daven team saved the day and I haven’t seen that in long time, my hats off to DAVEN ELECTRIC

    Having known David Lavender for a number of years, I asked the Daven team to take over a project from a previous electrical firm. From their initial dealings with the DOB Electrical Division to arranging and attending inspections, then getting the necessary sign-offs, they were diligent and responsive throughout the process. Their analysis of the existing conditions as well as their knowledge of and adherence to the correct electrical codes made working with them stress-free.     My experience with David was amazing . I spoke to him about my building violations . We met at my property. During our time together David surprisingly shocked me with all his documented research stating I didnt need any work done . He stated it was a filing issue. His staff helped me thru the process removing these headaches , not to mention the HONESTY that Daven Electric has shown me ! Didnt charge me a dime !     I have small retail shop in Tribeca and last week we had an issue with lights flickering. I called DAVEN electric and explained the matter to the office manager who took all my info and listening carefully to my issue, She in turn directed me to wait 30 minutes and a field supervisor would call me back. 10 Minutes later Alex form DAVEN called and 20 minutes later he was in my shop. He diagnosed the matter, quoted the cost of repairs and the very next day a truck showed up with 2 uniformed, badged members of DAVEN field staff, they were polite, clean, well mannered and understanding that my store is a retail establishment and should be treated like it’s the most important place in the world. They corrected mattered , I paid the bill on line and they were on there way, GREAT JOB by DAVEN!!!. No issue 3 weeks later and I also had a follow up from Jen the office manager ( the first person I spoke to ) and then Dave ( the owner ) took the call as well to ensure my overall experience was satisfactory. AGAIN great job, great experience, great product, this obviously a VERY well-run company.
