He was able to clear the pipes and was thorough in making sure everything was in working order before he left. We have a 6 month warranty. I am very satisfied with the service. I am not sure if the cost is fair. It was about $1000 to remove a toilet and clear the pipes after our septic tank was emptied.

I’m honestly shocked @ how quickly the turn around was to get someone like Leo to come next day and solve my drainage issue (I booked @ 2:45 AM) and received a text @ 8 AM on the dot saying Leo was on his way. While the cost exceeds the averages quoted through my research, I needed this tended to immediately and I do not regret my decision. The price is worth my peace of mind and being able to comfortably shower in my tub.

The roto-rooter plumber, Mark, came out in a very timely fashion after I put in a request online. He quickly diagnosed the multiple problems I was having with my bathroom sink drain and both toilets. Clearly the water pressure being generated when I flushed was very weak and he diagnosed that where other plumbers who have come out did not. Hopefully it will be smooth flushing from here and I was very happy with the service.

Turns out the pipe from the house to the street was rotted. It was a big and expensive job. I asked if they took payment plans and as it turns out, they do! I was approved for credit and they came out the next day (Monday) and spent the day fixing it. I was so pleasantly surprised. And the people who did the work were so nice and helpful. I was expecting a full-on nightmare and it turned out to be a blessing. Thank you so much for the great service. Plus it was not as expensive as I had expected. I thought because they kind of had me over a barrel, they would do what other companies do and overcharge me but they did not.

The two gentleman that came out were fantastic. They werent able to fix the problem the first day but came back the second day with different equipment and really helped us out. Expensive but the service you get is relatively quick, top notch, and guaranteed. Only thing I would have changed would have been to camera the sewage line leaving the house to ensure the blockage was fully cleared after two days of them fighting it. Both servicemen recommended it but their supervisor shut it down. Overall would definitely recommend just make sure you have everything you wanted done before they leave.

They sent a service technician midday for a warrantied visit. All parties I had contact with were polite and informative. Tony, the technician, was knowledgeable and skilled at dealing with and solving all the problems with the job. He was welcoming as I watched him do his work. Overall, I would say that today’s experience is what any homeowner would want with a problem like this. Before he left he showed me the video of the cleared pipe. Ive had at least three visits from this Roto-Rooter throughout the last several years. Every time we had a clogged drain, we always had to use the basement toilet to access the main line and clean things out. Trap was allegedly nowhere to be found, and past techs indicated that the trap was likely buried or in a different area in the basement that was supposedly inaccessible.But for this visit, Leio (#8170) went above and beyond. Using sound judgment and instincts, he took the time to survey our basement, and with a little bit of effort, found our trap! Turns out it was buried under years of construction dust and dirt, literally staring us in the face all along.Leio deserves a raise or at least a bonus.

They brought a field inspector out to take a look and assess whether we would need restoration services and he told us the damage was minimal enough that just a few days of fanning the wood would suffice, and then we can replace the sheetrock with our contractor once its all dried up.

They responded to my non-emergency call and quickly came, inspected, advised then I had them change one toilet. The plumber was polite, helpful and efficient. I would have given 5 stars but the toilet was crooked and he didnt put any caulking around the base. He said the screws on the floor were not installed straight & the floor would need to be removed. (Hmm yet the old toilet appeared straight.) I think he was tired & didnt want to redo it. Also, I was told by the initial customer contact the plumber would have a COI with him which he did not. I will call them to follow up. (I called and they are returning.) FYI the job cost almost $1000 to change the toilet. Too expensive. Overall they got the job done fast. TY (FYI the follow up plumber corrected the previous issues and everything is fine.) Great job!

Just wanted to edit my review because I somehow missed the section where I could leave a comment. We live in an old house and have roots that get into our sewer line causing a backup. After a regular plumber sent by my home warranty company was not able to fix the issue we called Roto Rooter since apparently the home warranty does not cover this issue. Everything about my experience was top notch from the sweetest and funniest customer service rep (Jasyn with a Y) to the professional technician that came to our house, to the field rep that came by to check on him to the supervisor that came by later that day to run a video through our sewer line. The technician (sorry I forgot his name) did an excellent and thorough job and cleaned up later. I appreciated the video diagnosis from the supervision Mario later. It was very informative and though we are not going to opt for the $10,000 sewer lining he suggested I appreciated his candor. Roto Rooter are absolute pros and I will definitely call them for all jobs that are not covered by my home warranty. By the way. I called Roto Rooter in Nanuet not the Bronx, but maybe it is the same company.

Last night, our 5 year old electric water heater was venting through the temperature & pressure relief valve (T&P).The scheduler got us an appointment first thing this morning.Dispatch let us know when to expect the technician and informed us in a timely manner when he encountered a slight delay.Our technician, Henry provided friendly and professional service from start to finish. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a malfunctioning pressure reduction valve (prv) that was sending 140 psig into the house. The prv is down in a crawl space under a closet near the main shutoff valve.We’re older now, so while he was down in the crawl space replacing the prv, we had him raise the main line shutoff valve so we can reach it without going down into the crawl space.

Service Call #1,Had a terrible septic back-up into my home. I scheduled via the web-site that night for next day service. I received a call first thing that a Technician would be arriving with in an hour.The Technician (Ernesto) was polite, clean, and thorough. He was able to craw under the house into the Craw space, locate my main trap (installed in 1920) and clean it out. He also showed me a live video feed of the condition of my existing sanitary line to my tank. It was in terrible shape. Since my line runs under a very expensive rock wall and 40 to the tank, I really did not want to dig it out. He was able to offer a solution of relining the existing clay pipe and offered a fifty year warranty on the repair.I will be having the RR Plumbing Roto-Rooter, 1111 Calhoun Ave perform the reline asap and will not hesitate to call them back for any reason.
