I spent many hours emailing and selling a variety of water main companies. We needed to install a new 3 combined water main to connect to a sprinkler system in a townhouse. I received quotes from 6 companies and there were others who, after repeated attempts to get a quote, I gave up on because the lack of any communication. The 6 quotes I got were all over the place in terms of a set price and conditions applied to the quote, IE, 7k if our road had to be closed, and 800 if we have to add a 90 degree bend. In a final attempt to get a quote, I contacted Empire Water Main & Sewer and given a quote within a day with no strings attached a soup to nuts quote. I hired them and a few weeks later, after pulling all the permits the work begun. The team were great and were very respectful of the neighbours as they had to dig up our pavement and open up the whole road to fit the new line (its a very dirty and messy job). I have worked with many subcontractors, and if you asked who was the best? I would say these guys. 10/10 and the price they quoted was at the lower end of the quotes I received and everything went to plan with no delays or problems. Its just rare to find a contractor who cares about their reputation and provides quality and not exorbitant prices.

Ray and George are the best! They called 20 minutes before they came to let me know that they were on their way! They came on time and they listened very intently to my problem. Called Empire and was able to get an appointment the next day. Ray and Jesse came right on time and even gave me a 30 minute courtesy call. They inspected the sewer drain with a camera and showed me that grease had built up and hardened. They were able to jet the sewer right then and showed me the inside of the pipes again afterwards. Ray and Jesse were very professional and knowledgeable and explained the process to me as they worked.

Im truly impressed with the attention and the quality of the work that was done with Empire! I found them on Home Advisor and chose them because of their good reviews and I was not disappointed! I scheduled an appt for the next day and called to confirm pricing. On the phone, they were able to move my appt to the same day and then even up to the next hour. When Ray arrived, he was super friendly and helpful! He kept me at ease by keeping me informed and laying out all of my options in a way that allowed me to make the best decision. He was invested in helping me solve the problem until it was fixed. Empire will definitely be my go-to moving fwd! Finding a plumber you can trust isnt easy, especially as a new homeowner. I just had the best experience with Empire Sewer and water. I had an unexpected leak I called Empire S&W I spoke with Diane who was so informative and kind. She explained the entire process, and was able to calm my anxiety. When the plumber Ray and his assistant arrived they we’re able to find the leak, they used care with opening my ceiling and fix the problem they was so nice and professional and was able to fix my problem. Empire is a responsive and professional sewer company. They were recommended by a good friend and Tony as a consultant very quickly responded to my emergency situation and explained all options. We initially believed the necessity of a partial sewer replacement but upon further assessment Empire showed video camera footage to ascertain the necessity of a full sewer pipe. Yep a lot of money but I’m challenging American Waters Supply to compensate. I’m happy with their work.

Empire Sewer and Water has provided me with solid, responsive service at a fair price. Heres my story. I own a townhouse in Brooklyn and last month the sewer started to back up into the downstairs basement (ahh!). I called several companies, including Empire. I spoke directly to one of the receptionist and explained my problem. They went over all of my options over the phone. They seemed very knowledgeable. They were able to give me a prompt appointment for within an hour of calling.Forty five minutes later a technician by the name of Pedro arrived at my door with him came a helper. I showed them where the problem was and they went over all of my options. Now i only know about traditional rooter removal with a traditional snake, but Pedro explained a different method called hydrojetting. Although a more costly option it came with a 1 year guarantee with reassurance that if anything were to happen they would come back free of charge and re clean the line. This was a great solution for me considering my townhouse has had many backups this past year alone.For peace of mind for another year and their appointment punctuality and ease of scheduling i give them 5 stars.

From start to finish, Empire Sewer & Water Inc. was nothing but professional, efficient and helpful. Contacting them out of emergency, they were there to assist every step of the way. Upon meeting the plumbers, they were very thorough and explained everything that needed to be done prior to any work commencing. With most companies, you sometimes get the impression that people are trying to overcharge or “get one over on you.” This definitely was not the case and I immediately felt at ease knowing they would handle my co-op plumbing needs.Working with co-ops/buildings can be problematic at times. My building indeed was not easy to work with and created some unnecessary barriers. Fortunately for me, Diana in the office advocated for me and ensured that things got done the way it needed to be! Simply put, I would not hesitate to recommend or refer Empire for anyone who has any type of plumbing needs. You won’t be disappointed!

They performed a video line inspection, provided me with clear video showing the cracks in the pipes, offered a proposal with pricing and expert advise on what will happen if the repairs are not done. They were very thorough and I learned a thing or two to arm myself to battle my the condo management company. I would recommend their services. The condo management company has not moved to make the repairs yet but...I have all the info I need as I move to the next step to force an action.

I had an emergency with my sewer main line in my basement and it was causing a flood on Sunday afternoon, after trying other companies, empire sewer and water were the only ones who answered my phone call. They inform me they could have someone out in a hour. They explained to me that there would be a $85 charge for coming out, which would be applied toward the work cost if agreed upon doing the work with them. Moments later I get a call from Wattz saying he will be in my home within half an hour. Wattz gets here and he’s very professional. I take him to the basement where the issue was and he explains to me that my line is extremely clogged and most likely need a high velocity water jet to clear it but he would try to run the line with an electronic snake first to see if that resolves the issue. He tried to snake it twice and nothing worked. The line was still backing up. He gave me a complimentary video inspection and I saw how badly that clog was. He also told me I had root intrusion. I went ahead and told him to go ahead and do the water jet. He water jet the line and the line finally open and flowing properly! He gave me another free video inspection to show me the line and it was completely working. I was so happy! They were able to fix my issue within 2 hours! I was very happy with the work and how reliable they were. I was given a 1 year guarantee on any backups. They also have a new promotion which started this year for 10 percent off the next visit! I would recommend this company to anyone who is having issues with sewer lines. 5 stars! 5 stars!

Empire Sewer & Water came to snake a clogged line in my condo. My upstairs neighbors sink was draining into mine and was causing a huge mess in my kitchen.The technician came and before he walked in he made sure he wiped his boots on the outside mat before entering, I appreciated that. Rey had me take everything from under my sink. Then he made sure he had a bucket to catch any water that couldve fell when removing the pipe. In a zip, the pipe was clear. Afterwards, Rey made sure the pipe wasnt leaking.This is one of the best companies Ive dealt with, very fast service, i definitely recommend them and i put their number in my phone. Have to say, Empire saved the day for me!I had a horrible odor coming from my basement and noticed my toilet and slop sink were overflowing and had no idea what to do.I called root rooter first and they came and looked for 2 seconds and said yea you need to flush out your line with a water jet they quoted me 2300$ , I quickly gave them the boot they were so unprofessional!!! Telling me they know it and didnt even try to snake it!I looked on line and called Empire sewer and they came within 1 hour and I met Pedro.He was real nice and told me all I needed was a snaking of my sewer trap.He was done after 30 minutes and all the sewage went down! Im so grateful I didnt cave to the first company, 2300$ such a big difference , will definitely use them again.

Amazing and professional work done by Jesse and Randy. I have been having a sluggish main waste line for months and other plumbers would simply snake it as a temporary fix. However, Jesse determined after giving snaking a shot, that Hydro-Jetting would likely be the next step and surely enough, they were able to clear the line of thick gunk that would otherwise be impossible to remove! They even showed me the inside of the pipes with their special camera. These guys not only provide quick and professional service, but educational as well!

I had Empire to my house to clean main trap they advised of 2 other issues that I was not aware of explained the problem and solution in great detail and I decided to have them repair the problems. Ray and Watts are very pleasant, considerate and clean. I would definitely call upon Empire again for any future plumbing / emergency needs. When my sewer line collapsed (Approx 40ft) I almost died! I would not wish this job on anyone, but I am so happy with the work that Empire was able to provide for us. In 3 days, they were done! The guys are young, but they know their work and their worth. Very professional and knowledgeable. Frank is a great manager and I definitely plan to give them more work at another property I own. I love this company! I call them for all my sewer and plumbing problems. My most recent problem was that my toilet on the top floor was leaking. I called them and asked for Pedro and they told me he would get to me a soon as he could which was great. Hour later he calls me to tell me he is couple mins away. Pedro is always so fast and dependable. He looks at the toilet and tells me that I need patch work at the base. He gets to work and next thing I know my toilet is no longer leaking. This is why I always choose Empire sewer and water. Fast, reliable, on time, and get the work done!

Im so glad I found Empire Sewer and Water Inc through Home Advisor. I needed a sump pump replaced, I called them and within an hour Wattz and Rey came to my house. They are great. Took a look at my problem and told me what I needed done. They explained everything so that I could understand. They have wonderful personalities. They left to get the new pump, came back almost immediately, and installed it. They cleaned up after themselves and showed me how the new pump works. Its so much quieter than the old one I had. Empire Sewer and Water Inc are going to be my go to guys in the future. Wattz and Rey deserve a raise, theyre that good.
