    Phillip arrived exactly at the time he said. Very personable, with a great sense of humor. He found our leak immediately, took a video and marked exactly where the plumber would need to make the repair. Having to hire a specialist to detect the whereabouts of a leak is in itself a bit nerve racking, but what a pleasure to encounter such a nice technician who knows his trade. Thank you!

    Outstanding service, Phillip Eddy called and gave us an estimated time of arrival, he arrived on time. He greeted us in a respectful and professional manner. He then explained the process he would be using to find the water leak. I was concerned that the leak was in the concrete slab, after checking he determined it to be a drain leak. He explained ways a plumber could repair the leak. Again Phillip Eddy was a professional and pleasant to have help us during this time. Thank you Phillip.

    Started off a bit rough. No one called and no one showed on appointment day. Found out the next day they had the wrong phone number for me. Rescheduled for two days later. Got a call from the tech to confirm so I knew things were good. He called me a little later, asking for my address as he was Not finding my house. Turns out they had the wrong house number listed as well. Numbers just off by a few. Anyway, once Jay got here He did a wonderful job of finding the issue and explaining what it was doing and how it happened. He was very patient and complete in his descriptions of what he found. I have a much clearer picture now of what I need to do to fix this. Thank you for the help. And yes, I would use this company again if needed.

    Brian Thurow did a wonderful job. He called ahead to let us know his arrival time, and then showed up as expected. More importantly he found a very small leak, which at first I could not see until he pointed it out. With 3 waterfalls and 8 jets in our pool, it was like finding a needle in a haystack, but Brian did it. In addition to Brian being courteous and professional, he was laid back and put our minds to ease on finding the leak. He explained each part of the pool and showed me a few drops of water leaking from a piece of our salt equipment. After showing me the leak that caused my pool water to drop weekly, he gave me two ways to fix the problem. I chose one way and in 30 minutes he had it fixed. I was very impressed with Brian and his skills. I am not related and have never met him, he just did that good of a job. Thank you Brian!

    We had a big leak and our well qualified plumber could not find it. He immediately recommended Sleuth and after a four day wait and lots of anxiety Phillip Eddy came and did his sleuthing. Clearly our leak was more difficult to find than most. Phillip was able to narrow down three possible places for access. He began outside with the hope to avoid any damage inside, and was close, but had to keep searching inside. The sound of his sledge hammer through themaster bedroom floor was a little unnerving but entirely worth it.Because Phillip persevered, our plumber was able to make a complete repair. Phillip left an arrow to the exact place where the pipe was broken. He was also very considerate in explaining what he was doing and why, andleft everything as clean and neat as possible.     Bobby and his trainee (I apologize for forgetting his name) were very polite and professional. Bobby called in the morning to let me know what time he would be arriving and then called again to let me know he was on his way. They worked quickly and found the leak underneath the concrete in a bedroom and didnt have to rip up the whole floor to temporarily fix it. Everything was explained ahead of time and he politely answered all my questions. I called 2 plumbers prior to calling them and both plumbers had recommended their services.

    Sleuth was excellent. They showed up on time and completed the job under 1 1/2 hours. They were incredibly thorough, checking everywhere in the house to not overlook anything. These guys were courteous and considerate of me and my belongings; that is to say they were respectful of my house. Their technology was impressive.     Phillip was awesome he arrived on time , listened to my description of the water leak problem, then went to work with his detection equipment ….it was not easy to locate the leak (in my opinion) but his thoroughness paid off and he made his mark on the floor where he likely thought the leak was coming from . He offered to save the tile and break the concrete slab under the carpet and further identify the exactLocation and possible repair it temporarily … he broke up the slab and was able to find the leak physically and then placed a temporaryPatch on the pipe so I could still inhabit my house he left marking and talked meThrough the location so I could let the plumber know tomorrow where the leak was for a quick fix … slueth and Phillip are highly recommended

    Christina in the office was extremely helpful in explaining to me Sleuth’s leak detection procedure. Field Technician Kyle Roberts called a couple hours later and went to work pinpointing the area of the leak under the slab in our food pantry. He then excavated the floor with care and kept things extremely neat while applying a temporary patch so that we could restore water service to the church complex. The price was fair and the service impeccable. I would recommend Sleuth to everyone and I very much appreciate Christina and Kyle!

    John Snyder did a most thorough job, examining every aspect of the pool, the inlets and outlets, and all the pump mechanism and valves - and even did an in-water inspection.     10 STARS... Kyle came out the same day we called. He is extremely knowledgeable, very kind and very professional. He found EXACTLY where the leak was, under our tile floor, and carefully took the exact tile out. He escavated under the slab and clamped the leak off so that we can use our water until the plumber is able to come make the full repair. Then he cleaned everything up so neatly and didnt make a mess at all. Im actually surprised at how exact and precise he was in finding the pin-point spot of the leak. We are just so pleased with Sleuth Inc. and so thankful that they have such a wonderful, knowledgeable young man as Kyle Roberts working for their company.     We received a water bill that was outrageous after the meter was read and we were told that we used 40,000 gallons of water in a month!     Philip Eddy of sleuth leak detection spent a long time checking all possibilities and explaining and demonstrating to me that there was no leak consistent with what a plumber had indicated. He checked and double-checked all scenarios and found that there had been an outside faucet that was open and probably making it appear that there was a slab leak. The problem was actually with aging shut off valves. This saved me thousands of dollars in repairs that I had been led to believe were necessary.

    Kyle, walked in the front door an said I see where the leak is.It behind the kitchen wall. I said no, Its in the bedroom under the carpet there is a large wet spot. Thank god he ignored me. He got down with a stethoscope and listened to the kitchen wall, opened it up and found a copper pipe had a pin hole spraying water that was running on the concrete slab and under my bedroom carpet 15 feet away. Keep in mind this was also a very busy time for them given the severity of what happened in Manatee and Sarasota County. The appointment was scheduled in a timely fashion and Ryan called the morning of the appointment to let me know my time frame and his energetic attitude was a very welcome interaction.     What can I say, Phillip was awesome! He came over to our house at 9:45pm to find a leak that was under our slab. He was very professional, friendly, funny and just a swell person. Haha.     A field technician named Randy came twice to look at our flooding/leak. The first time he did not find the solution, but he told us to rip up our floors, fix our bathtub, and fix an outside faucet that had a leak.     Let me start by saying we had another company come to assess our leak. We were not really comfortable with his plan , which turned out to be totally wrong. We read reviews and your company stood out. Your technician Tyler was professional and personable which gave us confidence with his work. Not only did he quickly and accurately identify the issue, he patiently explained things to me and walked through all kinds of ways to prevent water usage and leaks. he broke down how water usage is computed by the county and ran some tests and experiments to show me why my bill is so high. Turns out I have a shady landscaper who is being vindictive and setting my irrigation timers to an outrageous amount of minutes per month! Very very helpful!     Cant thank Sleuth enough. I discovered mildew and standing water under my tile during a renovation. He ruled out other causes quickly and provided tons of important info on water vapor, products to stop it etc. He charged a small fee and was in his way. I followed his advice and did my own research on vapor barriers and this solved the issue. Not to mention I saved thousands on additional work that wouldnt have fixed my problem. Thank you!!!     I had a large underground leak at an apartment complex our company manages and I needed a leak locator before I could call a plumber. Jay, the technician they sent out was great. He listened to the all the details I had regarding the problem, explained what had to be done and methodically went through the process until we located the exact area where the problem was. As someone who has first hand experience with other leak locators, if you want it done right the first time, want someone who clearly knows what they are doing and want any questions you have answered then call Sleuth. Better yet call them and ask for them to send Jay…problem solved. There’s no substitute for experience and you get what you pay for.
