Arrived quickly after I called. Quickly identified the problem & got parts. Once the issue was resolved, Tom made sure everything was working properly before he left. Office staff called before he arrived to confirm address and gave me their name & number if I had any issue. It was a great experience overall!

I called RTR Electric at 4PM on a Friday with a ceiling fan issue. Tom didn’t hesitate in coming to my rescue. He came and diagnosed the issue and then corrected the problem. RTR Electric went above and beyond the call of duty for me. It was after hours and I got in touch with Tom at RTR. He was on his way home but was nice enough to stop by to help me. I had an electrical wire hot and on the ground in my yard. He was able to resolve the problem in no time. I would definitely call RTR again.

The electrician (Alex) showed extreme attention to detail when installing my kitchen pendant light. He did everything he could to avoid having to put holes in the drywall, and made sure I approved all of the other related things, like height of the light, centering, and how the chain and wire were interwoven.

Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Called for service the week before Easter and was scheduled for the following week. After a little pleading, they fit me in the day before Easter!! Such great people. Did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it! Hard to find companies like this anymore. They even cleaned up the very small amount of dust they made. 10 out of 10 all the way around. You won’t be disappointed.

RTR came out quickly after I called in my issue to their office. The problem was correctly diagnosed. We arranged for work to be done which was completed several days later. The technicians working on the problem were professional and courteous. They discovered that part of the quote was unnecessary as an electrical component was present but buried under the ground. So, they fixed our problem below the initial estimate, and the work was completed quickly. I would highly recommend this company and well use them in the future.

Came to give a free estimate, got a timely professional estimate, they set up a time and date, they showed up on the scheduled time and did a professional repair. They kept us informed with text, emails and phone calls of changes. The electrician was courteous and did a great job. Edit to add that we missed an oversight on our bill which was immediately caught by the owner. He called us and came the next day to return our overpayment. Honesty goes a long way.

Tom goes WELL above and beyond for his clients! When I arrived at our shop yesterday to find a downed power pole with a line on our building, I called Tom (after calling Alabama Power) to see if our building was safe to touch. Tom arrived at the shop within 15 minutes and stayed all the way through Alabama Power’s arrival. He even helped save the lives of two men by flagging down and stopping a large metal waste truck headed straight into the downed live electrical line (before emergency crews had arrived on the scene). Not only does Tom do great work…he goes WELL above and beyond! Do NOT hesitate to call Tom for all of your electrical needs!

Tree limb fell on the power line leading to the meter box ripping the power line out of the box Sunday afternoon.called Tom he was there in 45 mine looked things over and said he would be back Monday morning it eight.they had to replace the box on the outside as well as the fuse box inside.they had everything back up and ready by about five .before the power co. had the power back going.very happy with the service and would highly recommend these guys

We had an issue that required quick attention. My neighbor had used RTR for the exact same issue and they came through for us. They were quick to get started and covered all bases, including getting an inspector out so we could get power back on quickly.Tom came by after a storm hit our area and said he would return at 8:30am the next morning. At 8:30 Tom and his crew were working to get us and my neighbor back in service. I would recommend RTR Electric to anyone needing an honest and dependable electrician.Our circuits/electrical outlets were stretched pretty thin so we had RTR give us an estimate and subsequently do the work. The technician completed the job in a timely manner and left everything just as it was when he arrived. It’s nice to have someone clean up after their work. I recommend RTR for any electrical work you need.
