My first encounter with Superior Plumbing was with Tammy. I was contacting several potential plumbing providers for sewer repair but found Tammy to be helpful and patient with my time schedule--simply connecting by phone is difficult due to my business. After having our situation examined by the plumber, Levi, we found his solution to be the most plausible considering our nearly 100-year-old house and the fact that the sewer comes out the back and to the front under the garage and driveway. Although there were several solutions offered by others, the technique offered by Levi was called Pipe Bursting, which after studying a great deal and contemplating the information I had researched combined with Levi’s obvious expertise we chose this avenue for completion of our sewer replacement. The work ethic and the knowledge of Levi was definitely old school—he would not quit until everything was just right. We are not easy to please but we found this experience to be one that is worthy of posting this review.

We had a complex plumbing issue that impacted our water pressure that had been misdiagnosed by two prior plumbing companies. I called Superior Plumbing based on the reviews on Google, and I’m so glad that I did. Although they had not done work for us in the past, they nevertheless made us a priority and were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly in the middle of the holiday season. Their customer service, technicians, expertise, quality of work, and pricing are by far the best I’ve encountered in Kansas City.

We had a sewer gas smell coming from a basement bathroom and Lee came out and worked on the tub drain finding a large hairball as well as did a total reconstruction on our toilet. After removing the toilet to reset it, he found that the flange was too low, broken and had nothing to hold onto. He spent the necessary time to get the job done right and caulked it for safe keeping. Professional and perfect service. Thanks Superior!

These are my go-to plumbers, from now on! Professional, flexible, courteous, and good ol fashion hardworking! They installed our hot/cold water lines with a drain for our washer. We thought they had to go through our foundation, but they found a work-around that made the job easier. Highly recommend, and we will be using them again!

I discovered a leak in a copper valve and I did not have the experience to repair myself. I called Superior Plumbing and within an hour they worked me in and I had an expert here at my home. Superior Plumbing is amazing and I will be a lifelong customer! A previous plumber could not figure out my problem with my water heater. With one phone call, Caleb had the issue narrowed down to 2 possibilities. Elijah came out and ran some testing and was able to find and fix my issues. Not only is my water heater fixed but my water pressure is amazing now! Elijah was friendly and knowledgeable and he even took the time to talk to my home warrenty company so I could be reimbursed for the charge, something he didnt have to do but I very much appreciate that he did. I also want to add that Elijah cleaned everything up so well that I couldnt even tell he was there. He did a great job!

We have used Superior Plumbing twice in the past month. We were very impressed by the technicians, they were professional, courteous and fully explained our issues and what needed to be done. The prices were reasonable, and the work was “superior”. We were further impressed when the owner followed up each time with a phone call making sure we were satisfied by the work that was completed. We will use them from now on out!!

I called Superior Plumbing on March 12th after noon with a concern about a possible leak. Caleb was extremely professional and scheduled me for as soon as possible the next day. A couple hours later he had an opening in the schedule, and called me to see if I would prefer they come that same day. I was out of the house, so they kept my appointment for the next morning. Elijah was at my house the next day at 11am. He was extremely competent and had excellent manners, and solved my problem in no time at all. Superior Plumbing had someone at my home less than 24 hours after I called them, and I paid exactly the price that I was quoted the day before. I am extremely impressed with their service, and will go to Superior for all my future plumbing and heating needs.

Caleb and his team are honest, fair, reasonable, have a spirit of helping and informing. Reliable, and knowledgeable. They do excellent work, on time and in budget. Cant recommend more highly. Theyve done several jobs for our home, and have always done excellent work. I trust them and their work completely, and have had only perfect experiences, consistently. Dont ever hesitate to call them with any plumbing or gas project or need.

Not only are their technicians extremely knowledgeable, but theyre also very helpful! They just installed a new water heater and also happened to improve the water pressure issue we have been having. I highly recommend their services to anyone who doesnt want to overpay but still have Superior, quality work done!

This company is the best plumbing company around the metro. Very polite and very knowledgeable professionals. I called Caleb a few years to come fix my kitchen sink plumbing that was originally installed wrong.... he stayed until like 9pm at night to get it all done right! Also just had an issue with a clog in my piping and garbage disposal leaking and called Caleb and he helped me out with some much needed info in fixing my issues which saved me money from having them come out! Thanks Caleb and Superior Plumbing ... you all are a top notch outfit.

Superior was great to work with during such a busy season. Although we were not scheduled until January, they were trying to fit more customers in before Christmas which I really appreciated. The tech they sent was friendly and very professional. They also beat our other quote by almost half so I could not be happier. Our fireplace and blower fan is working again, just in time for colder weather to move back in. I am so happy we found Superior on a Google search!

Great guys. The technician was able to fix a shower fixture from inside the shower the owner of Elite Plumbing said would require cutting a hole in drywall. I was booked a week later than the day of service due to winter demands but they had a cancelation and promptly called to see if we were available. He also flushed my hot water system to prevent further clogs.... another step Elite didnt think of or offer to do.

I am so thankful for this company. I am a business owner with a very expensive piece of equipment that had a leak that NO ONE could seem to fix. Wish I could give 10 stars to this company!! We had an awful sewage smell coming through and had other companies check, couldnt find the source. Elijah with Superior Plumbing & Gas was AMAZING!! Troubleshooted and FOUND the abandoned floor drain that was the cause of the awful smell. We are beyond grateful.

Superior Plumbing not only spent time at the house as the water was getting turned on to make sure nothing burst, but they put in new frost proof spigots, new valves and ran my gas line for my stove. So,I had a burst pipe on Monday morning,called on Tuesday as soon as they open,the gentleman on the phone said that they were booked up but he was going to try to get me taken care of,(come to know my Daughter had called them too regarding my situation and she got a very good impression of this place and his employees) no more than 45 minutes had gone by when a guy named Elijah called and said he would be over to see what was the problem, he was here in no more than 10 minutes, he did the work in less time than I expected and was very nice, respectful and professional.thank you soooo much!! Caleb and his team bailed us out again! Working on a bathroom remodel in a rental property and got stuck on the right way to install a new acrylic tub. We couldnt seem to get it level. Caleb came out in a couple hours, installed the tub, supporting it with a bed of concrete, After 24 hours for the concrete to set the new tubs sits straight and level and feels more solid than the cast iron tub it replaced.

Caleb talked me through some things to check; from the water heater to my main valve to troubleshoot low pressure issue. All without charging me. When I got to the valve and it wouldnt shut all the way, he had two of his guys at my house the next morning. They replaced my main valve and added a spigot just after the valve and found out the city pressure was the issue. New construction across the street must have crimped the line. Caleb and his workers were very knowledgeable and thorough and helped to quickly identify my plumbing issues and were more affordable than other quotes I got for a main valve and spigot replacement. Wow, Caleb just called to let me know to take pictures of citys repairs and verify city inspector approves the work, so if it fails 5 years down the road and it wasnt done right, I wont be liable for charges to fix it. A+++

They are honest, professional, and know what they are doing. Will use them again and again.

I hadnt used my fireplace for over six years. Elijah came out and cleaned it all up, removed the logs, cleaned them, cleaned the pilot light and the main burner. It is running perfectly and is beautiful! Caleb got me scheduled within 1 1/2 weeks when all other companies I called were 4-6 weeks out. Now, I have my fireplace working for Christmas! Plus, they were almost half the price of what other companies were charging. Elijah was clean, friendly, and informative.
