We recently had Pikesville Remodeling renovate our basement and completely redo our basement bathroom, and we couldnt be happier with the results! To preface this review — we live in a 91 year old home that came with a lot of “quirks.”From start to finish, Ariel and Ivan were an absolute pleasure to work with. Ariel walked us through the intricacies of our project, and was always transparent with cost and timeline.The team was incredibly courteous, always mindful of our space, and kept everything clean throughout the entire project.Their attention to detail was impeccable. Ariel Goodman and Pikesville Remodeling are a rare find...extremely professional, knowledgeable, dependable and much, much more! We recently needed his services to repair damages incurred when water backed up into part of our finished basement. Ariel assured me he and his crew would make the time in between current jobs...work on Sundays and after hours - to restore our basement to better than new. And he kept his word. He doesnt just make promises...he keeps them. He goes the extra mile. His employees are competent, courteous, professional and perform their various jobs expertly. They are always on time and leave the work area very clean and orderly. And the sub-contractors Ariel brings to the job are also professional and competent. We had an excellent experience with Pikesville Remodeling who remodeled our entire basement. Ariel and his team were prompt, diligent, and meticulous in finishing every last detail of the project. Communication throughout the project was exceptional, as we were informed what time the crew would arrive and which area of the project they would work on each day. Communication between designers and vendors was also wonderful, and Ariel worked seamlessly with all vendors to ensure a smooth project.Great attention and detail was placed on every element - from the closets, to the doors, painting, flooring, molding, and tile work. Ariel even went above and beyond to help with furniture layout and other small tasks to ensure the overall project was done to our complete sanctification. I have personally worked with Pikesville Remodeling. Ariel himself is the nicest guy you could ever imagine. He goes out of his way to ensure your needs are met EXACTLY as you want them performed. He specifically does not take on super-large jobs so that he can provide excellent customer service to all of his clients.I had him do several things in my home including a storm door installation, a remodel, and a fireplace buildout. The fireplace looks like it was done by a master woodworking artisan. He really takes pride in his work and it shows.I have used and will continue to use him, and highly recommend that you use his services.

I highly recommend Ariel and his team for home remodeling projects. I started working with Ariel a few years ago and he has successfully completed the installation of a new full bathroom (all plumbing, tile, fixtures, etc...), repaired extensive termite damage to ~40 sq feet of floor joists, remodeled a powered room, and most recently put our family room ceiling and walls back together (insulation, dry wall, painting and trim moldings) after a roof leak issue. Ariel is professional in his approach and great to work with; he is on top of communication (never leaves you hanging or wondering whats going on, which is common with contractors in my experience). His team is hard working, polite and professional. The quality of work is always outstanding and impressive. I look forward to continuing to work with Ariel and his team in the future.

Quality of work: Ariel and his assistant replaced a door to the basement of a house built ca 1900. The house had settled, and he had to measure a door that would fit the existing door frame. He made the correct measurements, and ordered the perfect fit...well, actually he and his assistant had to make the perfect fit, which is more important. Also, he adjusted the existing alarm sensors. Finally, he showed me the details of what he did. This is important for me, the homeowner, to know exactly the work that was done.Just as important was Ariels communication! He kept me informed of the status of ordering materials, the time-line of delivery, and when we could arrange to get the job done.Finally, to me, this is important: Ariel respects his workers as much as he respects his clients.

Pikesville remodeling demoed a bar in our kids playroom and built a custom closet to our specifications in its place. The quality of work is simply outstanding. The owner took his time to ensure we not only got what we thought we wanted but also to provide input as to what would best suit us, which very much exceeded what we had in mind. He is a dream to work with and me (and my wife especially) couldnt be happier with the outcome. To put this in context, I work in commercial construction and am familiar with how often project closeout is painful due to details not being addressed. That did not happen with Pikesville Remodeling in any fashion. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and someone who is great to work with.
