My recent experience with Henry and Jimmy of Milton Electric was a fantastic one! Knowledgeable, professional and pleasant both worked on providing quick, easy solutions to my problems with my hall ceiling light resulting in installation of an up to date LED dimmer switch and putting in LED bulbs. They replaced my flush mount ceiling fixture in my club room with a new one effortlessly, insulating old wiring. There were a few burned out outdoor floodlights, one very high they replaced with my bulbs as well. Henry and Jimmy provided a great experience representing Milton Electric a company I have used for many home improvements for almost 20 years

We recently contracted with Milton Electric for our new home in Baltimore to fix several issues identified in our inspection report, to install new outdoor external light fixtures, and to run a line to install an EV charger. Delano and Ryan of Milton Electric were the best technicians to work with. Delano, the veteran electrician, and Ryan, his apprentice, knew their stuff and talked us through how they would run a wire for the EV charger and how theyd do so in a way that would be clean, professional, and look good.If you hire Milton Electric, youll get good service. But, if you ask for Delano and Ryan, youll receive amazing service.

He was here for 3 days, and during the entire time, he explained everything he was doing, was professional, respectful of the house, and did everything that was asked for within the estimated time (actually, he finished a bit earlier than expected because of how good he and Tunji were at running the additional circuits all the way from the 3rd floor to the panel in the basement). Will happily use Milton again, and will request Delano again for sure.Also want to call out Tina and Mark. Tina was very helpful in finalizing the estimates and payment, and Mark, the estimator, was very knowledgeable, responsive, and came out several times to answer my questions and make sure everything was accounted for before the work started.

Our Milton electrician for todays visit was Delano, who was friendly, prompt and efficient. Arriving at the early part of our afternoon window, Delano proved a good listener when we showed him the areas where we needed lighting to be installed. He was flexible when we pointed out an additional problem with our outside lighting. His suggestions were helpful. Working with Milton Electric was a good experience from start to finish.After another electrician left me high and dry having only partially finished a job, I called up Milton to see if they could do a rewire on my second floor to remove the old electric wiring. Their estimator came out and gave me a fair estimate and I agreed to have the work done.Milton didnt give me any 4 hour windows of when their crew might show up - they told me they should be there between 8:30 and 9 am, and both days of the job, they were there right on time, no delays, and they got right to work.John T., Shawn and Greg did a great job rewiring my second floor. What couldve been a nightmare for me ended up being a pretty good experience. They had to make very few holes in my plaster walls - the few they did, they patched up nicely and left them ready for painting. John even got up into my attic crawlspace, something every other technician has said could not fit a person, to do this job, which is just absolute madness.In half the time and for about half the price, they fixed my electric up nicely, cleaned up after themselves, were courteous, kept me in the loop on what was going on every step of the way, were respectful of my home and my pets, and even finished the job up ahead of time. There were no extra charges and no surprises.On top of that, they even found a ceiling fan had been mounted unsafely and fixed that for me, which wasnt even part of the original job. Thats quality service right there.Milton will be my go to for my electric needs in the future for sure.

Absolutely love this company! Wont hire anyone else! Everyone I have interacted with has been professional, helpful and kind from their receptionist to the electricians themselves. I even had someone from the warehouse answer the phone when the receptionist was out to lunch which is great service in my opinion! This is the second time I had hired them. They were able to book me with relatively short notice when other companies were booked many weeks in advance and were also able to move my appointment on short notice with no issues when my light fixtures had not arrived yet. I was only billed for T&M at an hourly rate and Delano was able to replace (3) ceiling light fixtures for me all within the hour! No additional materials were needed so all I had to pay was 1 hour of labor which was more than fair to me! Delano was professional, friendly and efficient! Highly recommend this company if you are in the area!

I have called Milton electric several times over the past year and a half for an outage once and several more times to add plugs and all of the electricians that came were knowledgeable, respectful of my home, polite, and hustled while working as not to run my bill up unnecessarily. They have never “padded” my bill and are very affordable, I spent much less than I thought I was going to. I’ve dealt with many tradesman over the years and I believe that Milton Electric is a good, honest company that hires good, honest employees. They’ve been around a while and I see why! Ask for Delano, there are many good people it seems, but he has impressed me several times with his skills in the last few jobs.

Our experience with Milton Electric has been wonderful! We recently moved to the area earlier this year and bought a house with several electrical issues. As a result, we turned to online sources to find an electrical company that would be cost-effective and provide quality work. Were so lucky we found Milton Electric! They have been timely, courteous, and very efficient. Initially, we had them install new dedicated circuits for our laundry appliances in a different location within the house, but then we needed outdoor electrical help as well. Specifically, wed like to give a shout out to Delano and Brett, who fixed some pesky outdoor outlets in the garden areas (one was completely fused due to a blow out!) as well as Henry and Kevin who really came through for us on a separate service call and fixed a VERY difficult-to-trace outdoor outlet by our pond. Attention to detail was so important to finding the sources of these issues and Milton Electric delivered. Thank you!! We highly recommend their services.

Milton Electric is an exceptional contractor! We purchased a home in Baltimore that was in need of 6 new smoke / carbon monoxide detectors that needed to be hardwired to the panel. This seemed very complicated to me, as we would need to pull a new wire to the panel from the attic. The property was also in need of several new gfi plugs. Miltons techs, Tungie and Greg, were super professional and knowledgeable, and very good at their craft. In addition, they both had excellent customer service skills. I cant say enough great things about the entire Milton Electric team. Weve worked with other electric companies in the past, but these guys take it to a whole other level. Well only come to Milton for all our needs from now on- no question. Everyone has been extremely responsive and helpful at every stage of the process- but I have to give a special shoutout to Delano. We had some work scheduled for Friday, but then lost power to our furnace the first day it snowed (of course) this year. They rearranged the appointment to get the team out here the next day to take care of it all. Delano was extremely professional, friendly, and got our heat restored in no time.The quality of work was SUPERB and the team exceeded our expectations in every way. I deeply appreciate their respect for our health- they showed up in masks and wore them the entire time. John T and Shawn were out last Friday to replace basement lighting with recessed and to install a video door bell. Had to install new transformer because the exiting door bell wires were cut. They were on time and did great work and let me know what was going on through out. When they found out there was no door bell wire to pull up they came up with a plan to avoid drilling through the floor. Very happy with the service and work. Will definitely use Milton again!

Delano and Kevin did an exceptional job on my weird old 1915 house - removing and replacing old knob and tube wiring, putting in GFCI receptacles in the kitchen, adding grounded outlets and replacing the ungrounded ones, and even caught an issue with my electric panel that wasnt in my initial proposal and came in for an extra hour to repair it. The company as a whole was responsive and professional, but Im especially impressed with Delano and Kevin and would definitely personally request them for future work.

With all that work, not a single problem. The electricians are professional, respectful of our property and take great pride in their work. And bonus, their pricing is competitive. We would highly recommended them to all but we are concerned that everyone will use them and they will not be as available as they are now. PS look at the average of their rating of 4.9 stars. Who gets that kind of recommendation?Update: Placed another work order with Milton (now this is the fifth). Installing ceiling connection for chandler, install an exterior floodlight with motion detector, replace a ceiling fan and hang other pendant. Greg and Mike on this assignment. Could not be happier. What was amazing, for the new chandler, they needed to cut the drywall in a couple of places. They really thought out how to minimize the cuts and when done they fixed the drywall. Wow!! I had Milton Electric out for an estimate. They were not the most inexpensive, but the estimator explained how they would approach my project and their way seemed safer than another company. Bryan C. and Tunji came to do the work the same week I called to schedule. They installed a bathroom exhaust fan and lights and outlets in the basement. They explained when I had questions and were efficient and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves, however, my tile, sink and hardwood floor are slightly worse for wear. Just ask that they put more sheets or a thicker blanket down. I would definitely use Milton Electric and specifically Bryan C. and Tunji again and I recommend them.

This was the only company, of 4 that I contacted, that would come to my home and give me a free written estimate to install two ceiling fans with lights and remote controls. So glad I did that! It was a complicated job! Gordy and Brett had to dig through a double layer of drywall and go around stabilizing rods and other impediments just to thread the wire to the hot switch that would control the fans and light. It was way more than they expected, but they did it! And everything works fine! Plus, they moved all the furniture back and cleaned up nicely after they were done. It took them 6 and a half hours! I give the company 5 stars because of the neck and back-breaking work that Gordy and Brett did but the man who scheduled the work and gave me a reminder call this morning was a bit abrupt and rude with me on the phone. I would recommend this company to others.

I have a 1920s rowhouse in Baltimore city. Anything that breaks or stops working is always a crisis especially plumbing and electrical. As a part of a kitchen remodel and update, I contacted Milton Electric to give me a free estimate to connect and install a Whirlpool 30 Wall Range Hood to existing electricity after removal of a cabinet and an Over-the-Range Microwave. Due to Covid-19 things seem to be a period of 2- weeks behind schedule but finally after several conversations with Milton about the installation, my job was completed on 8/5/2022.I have been a Milton Electric customer for over 20 years. I am always pleased with the professionalism and service. This time was no exception to the standard that Milton has set. My electricians were Henry and Ryan who went above and beyond what was requested to see that I was thoroughly satisfied with the work being done. Both of these workers should be congratulated.
