We called Gilman on a Sunday morning for an emergency appointment due to our eat not working well. A technician called back very quickly and one was able to come out in just a couple hours. Thankfully, it wasnt a major issue and it was able to be resolved quickly for a very reasonable rate, especially for an emergency call and a weekend. Highly recommend!

Josh arrived on time, did a great job putting the faucet in, checked everything to make sure no leaks, he was very polite and respectful. Brought all his own rags, buckets, etc. Used a cover for his shoes, and cleaned up after himself.

I had a blower fan motor go bad in my air handler and easily setup an appointment online Sunday evening. Was contacted the next morning by the office to verify everything. The tech Thomas arrive promptly and verified the motor was bad and had to order it. Two days later the office called and had the a tech come that afternoon. Jacob arrived promptly and installed the fan motor and I was back to a cool happy place. The people experience with Gilman was absolutely fantastic from the office to the two techs. Had great text messaging information on appointments and follow-up invoice emails. The absolute ONLY issue I have is the pricing on the replacement motor as it had an insane criminal mark-up. It was a universal replacement so it should have been cheaper based on online pricing. Despite that, I still give them five stars based solely on the human experience.

Totally pleased with this group of folks! Next day response to my request for an estimate, next day after that I had a new well pump and pressure tank installed! Very reasonable price compared to other quotes, saved me thousands. Finished the whole job in just over 3 hours. Top grade components, not cheap stuff. Had my condenser line from outside ice up overnight. Called Gilman in the morning and they quickly responded with a scheduled visit around lunch time. Thomas was great in thoroughly diagnosing and fixing the refrigerant leak. Office staff were very friendly and responsive in follow up on what I needed to do prior to visit. Also appreciate the follow up visit by James to double-check system operation and replace some insulation on the condenser line. I bought my Carrier unit from Gilman in 2010 and will continue to trust them for its care.

Had new water heater/circulating pump installed today. The whole experience was great, estimator did not try to upsell with pointless things, they were even able to come out on the same day of call in. They did not charge for a quote either, other company actually wanted to charge me for the privilege to sell me something Whoof Whoof (last time I use them). Installers were great, did things timely and cleaned up great. Highly recommend.

But our loyalty to this company was solidified this week when they stood by their guarantee of satisfaction. When we were not pleased with an expensive new piece of equipment they installed, the problem was addressed and a replacement installed within a week. It was really quite phenomenal. We highly recommend this company for your HVAC and plumbing needs.

This plan includes Heating, Cooling and Plumbing inspections/maintenance done periodically throughout the year to ensure everything is maintained properly and running smoothly. JAMES TRUEHEART just left from doing the AC check up (so important to do during these Summer months) and he was extremely polite, thorough with his work, and an all around pleasure to be around. The Gilman team provides quality service at a fair price. Today their team spent 5 hours in a hot attic re-insulating our ductwork that had begun to sweat due to worn insulation. They provided before and after pictures and took time to explain the end-to-end process. The finished product was top-notch. I have called the G man several times in recent years. They charge a bit for a house call, but when you need them, they are absolutely ace. I’ve had them help out with my heat pump on extremely short notice. The techs have been great about helping save costs by identifying what’s still under warranty, and if there are any available coupons or promotions they can apply to the cost of the visit. I’ve also had them out for some minor issues with a hose bib and repairing that. I wouldn’t say it’s the cheapest, but their work has held up well and I’ve been a happy customer.

Couldnt be more pleased with the service I just received from Gilman. The person who answered the phone, Lauren, was personable. I got very lucky, because when I called, she let me know they had just had a cancellation, so she was able to fit me in early the next morning to fix a furnace that wasnt working. I was very pleased with how personable Lauren was and how kind she was as she looked me up in the system (were repeat customers) and got me on the schedule.The technician, Jacob, diagnosed the problem very quickly and made sure the rest of the furnace was in good working order. His demeanor was very sweet and personable, too. He was patient as I asked questions and he explained with the problem had been. So now Ill know for the future.Having work with service providers all over the city for decades now, I just always appreciate somebody who treats me with kindness and makes even short interactions pleasant.Well done, Gilman! What a day! Our entire AC/Heat pump system needed replacing along with a new dehumidifier to keep crawl space moisture under control! Brandon, Tommy & Cameron were on the job and worked diligently until it was completed. They also discovered that we had water leaking in crawl space and within a hour a plumber was dispatched to fix! You couldnt ask for a better work crew. Brandon kept my husband informed all day as to progress and thoughtfully explained operating directions before leaving. Great company!!!!

Chris was just fantastic. Our kitchen faucet unexpectedly broke this morning. We belong to Gilmans Comfort Club and we knew right away who to call. Within 40 minutes the service man was here. While making the repairs, we had discussed how we had some valves changed by another Gilman service man last year. He suggested that the valves under the kitchen sink were of the type that should be replaced like the other ones. These valves are easier to operate and less likely to fail. All in all, we had a new, more versatile faucet installed and better valves installed. Chris is a great asset to Gilman. He is courteous, knowledgeable and professional in everything he does. We are so glad we chose Gilman for all our plumbing, heating and air conditioning needs.

We needed a commercial building A/C unit repaired. Blake arrived right on time he was very knowledgeable and did not mind giving detailed explanations of what he needed to do. He was able to repair the unit with just a capacitor. Bear I mind it was 90 something outside and after normal business hours. Yet he took his time did not rush above his knowledge his attitude after a long hot day couldn’t have been more pleasant.Gilman really came through for us by making it happen. Thanks G Man.

The team came early! Wasn’t even an hour from when I called in. I had no hot water and the tank was leaking. 2 guys arrived, never tried to upsell anything, was able to price everything out individually for me, I had enough time to run and grab the new tank myself to save money. They were polite, professional, arrived early, and just great! Definitely would use them again!
