I have fuel oil furnace and hard to find a company to service. Found Shakley a few years ago and have them do the winter service and they have always been on time and clear up after themselves when finished. Technicians are knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this company.

We have had so many issues with heating and air conditioning since moving into our home. Our system finally broke this summer and Shakley tried to fix it but the system couldn’t be saved. So we ordered a new unit and they came out to install it. Jim, Brandon, and Corey worked effectively and explained everything to me. They were quick, considerate and very knowledgeable. They were very polite and easy to talk to! Highly recommend!

When our central air stopped working correctly, they responded immediately to the phone message we left. The person responding was not able to repair it but was able to do a temporary fix that kept us cool until the permanent replacement could be made. He explained the problem very clearly to us and even showed us pictures of it! We decided to have them replace not only the central air but also our furnace at the same time since they were both 22 years old. Jim and Cory came on the day they said they would and at the time they said they would and completed the work within seven hours. They were both very friendly and professional! We cannot say enough good about our experience with Shakley! We would recommend them to anyone!

Jim, Corey and Brandon were here to do the install. They were very respectful of my home, layed out mats so they would not be walking on my floors. I just had new Central air & heat pumps installed at my home. Jim & Colton arrived on time, were very knowledgeable & professional. I had many questions thru out the day & they always were very willing to answer them & explain everything to me. I now know more about my hearing & cooling system than I ever did & have a better understanding of how everything works. With installing a whole new system there was a lot of clean up which they did completely. I couldn’t even tell they had worked at my house all day!! Excellent Experience! Within an hour after calling, Andy the manager was at my house and reviewing the situation. I knew the exchanger was cracked and the old 30 yr furnace needed to be replaced.. Arrangements were made for a new furnace and the crew of Jim and Cory were at my door at 8AM the next morning, as promised, with a new furnace, new sheet metal fab parts and the installation was underway---because of some new air intake changes the job took some time and extra care---but by mid-afternoon all was done and Jim and Cory did an outstanding neat and competent installation--and I am kind of a picky old engineer. Jim explained the maintenance needs and the workings of the new thermostat. The city inspector came soon after and commented on the excellent job.Summary: extremely satisfied!

Our sump pump and battery backup failed during a heavy heavy downpour and flooded the lower level. It was after-hours and their team came out to help us within an hour and a half after receiving our phone call. They were very nice and sensitive to helping us fix the problem. Highly recommend.

Shakely Mechanical technicians, Jim and Brandon, were EXCELLENT, timely, thoughtful and were very tidy and clean both inside and outside our home while installing the new AC system, and certainly respectful AND most professional in installing our new AC! They came as we were told approximately 8 a.m., covered all carpet and hardwood flooring leading to the location down to the basement to replace old pipes and duct work and were done by 2:30 p.m. Jim explained how the new system worked and in detail described how much more efficiently this new system will work. In addition, he spent time and explained while demonstrated its use on our fairly new Nest thermostat. Thank you Shakley Mechanical for the care— from your office and receptionist’s help, to your original assessors comments and care in helping us decide upon YOU as our service-go-to-people, and to Jim, Brandon and the others who assisted them in today’s service! I’m very pleased with the service, professionalism, and pricing of Shakley. My furnace broke on one of the coldest days of the year to date. I called another company to come look at it. They diagnosed the problem well but quoted me a price that I thought was pretty high. After speaking with several people, including total strangers, and getting the same response “Call Shakley” I decided to listen. The quote given was under $1,000 less than the previous company and a better product as well. They were able to get the job done quickly and took the time to explain everything to me as well.

My hot water tank started leaking last evening and Shakely Mechanical was here at 10:00 am this morning to inspect it. It was beyond repair (20 years old) so Joe installed a new one in a couple of hours. Joe was very courteous and knowledgeable. This was the first time that I had used Shakely but it won’t be the last as I want to enroll in their maintenance program now. It was a great experience working with Joe and I would highly recommend him and Shakely Mechanical if service is needed.
