    Incredible service. We had Champion and Ward Heating & Cooling come out to try to figure out what was wrong with our heat pump, the technician from MB Haynes figured it out in 30 minutes.     MB Haynes did a great job of upgrading my Moms 100 a fuse box to a 200 a circuit breaker box. Garrett came out to give us a quote. He was great and explained everything to us. We received a quote that afternoon. Darlene was wonderful and walked me through the process and scheduled us the next week. The installation crew was great and her power was turned on that same day.     After the flood, we had to have all of our ductwork torn out and replaced. But, Tim, Michael, Jesus, and Adrian came to our rescue! They were on time each day, worked tirelessly, and finished a very difficult installation ahead of schedule. We now have heat again and these guys went above and beyond the call. Amazing job!     All I’ve got to say is WOW, Haynes Electric!I knew I needed new lighting in certain neglected areas of my 7-year old home. I am renovating the laundry room, where I could barely read the laundry tags and see what I was ironing. I had can lights installed and everything is bleach bright now! They even put in a dimmer so I could adjust as necessary.Other areas like my attic space also needed attention. I no longer have to wear a head lamp to sort through seasonal décor and I even have a switch! Woohoo! (Can’t imagine how much more safe a space it is, too, with the illumination!)Finally, in the living area, there was a dark zone over the sofa and piano. I couldn’t see to read the music (even with the piano lamp) and reading of doing cross stitch on the sofa required a portable light (haha!). Now with one extra can light, that whole area came to life!Want to give a shout out to Garrett (estimate), Chris and Sloan (installers). They showed up on time, cleaned the space and took away the trash. Chris and Sloan went above and beyond to carry out the “illumination project” while taking care to communicate and confirm the can light locations and glow options to maximize the result. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous. At the end of the day, I was elated to see the difference. I’d send a picture, but I’m in the process of cleaning the surfaces that are newly exposed of layers of dust and grime!Color me very, very happy! Thank you, MB Haynes!

    My tankless water heater of 14 years died last Sunday. Nate & Zac came out on Monday to see what replacement parts were required.     Haynes residential solar just completed their analysis of my recently installed system. The job was complicated because the installer went out of business. They spent a long time reviewing all of the technical documents and even called in another crew to go to the roof and lift a panel to make sure we all knew which Microinverter was really installed. Both gentlemen went to various websites and made phone calls to figure out what my system needed. They did not give up even when it seemed like might have reason to. Anyway, the experience was overwhelmingly positive. I recommend them whole heartedly.

    Haynes Electric sent two men to figure out whjy my ceiling lights in the kitchen were randomly flickering. They crawled in the attic and checked all circuits in the basement, found the problem, and fixed it. Office staff are real people who respond ASAP and listen too, a rare thing these days.

    Sergey was kind and so knowledgeable and very professional. He showed me where to access the filter so it can be changed and also an area that needs to be cleaned out more regularly to make the air conditioner/furnace run more efficiently. He also checked a few other things to ensure our unit runs smoothly. At the end of the appointment, Sergey looked up to see if we were on the maintenance plan, which we had let lapse in 2020 during covid.     Our water heater began leaking on Saturday. We have water heater repair coverage with Duke Energy, and M.B.Haynes provides the service in our area. After calling Duke, they put us in contact with Haynes. A plumber (Logan) from Haynes called Saturday evening, and said that he had a couple of calls more that night, but he could come on Sunday. I agreed with him that would be okay. He called on Sunday, and came to the house. After assessing the situation, he said that he would replace the water heater, and that he had brought one on his truck so it would be a quick job. (Duke was to pay for both the water heater and the labor to install it up to $2,000, and this was the case). In considering anything that might have contributed to the leak. He checked the pressure of the water coming into the house. The pressure was quite high, and he suggested we should replace the Pressure Reducing Valve. He said that the cost of replacing the PRV would not be covered under our Duke coverage, rather it would be our cost. He gave me a reasonable price, and I agreed to pay for replacement of the PRV. Logan got the entire job, installing the PRV and replacing the water heater, very efficiently and with a great attitude. Logan had been working long hours all week, because we’d had record cold temperatures, but he was very friendly and personable! Everything about the job went very well, and I will call M. B. Haynes anytime I need plumbing services!

    I was in Asheville for my sisters wedding, dressed up for a bridal luncheon, on my way there and hit a pot hole which quickly resulted in a very flat tire. TODD from Haynes Heating and Cooling saw me in distress (trying not to get my silk skirt messed up), stopped and changed my tire for me. It was on a bend in a little mountain road (pretty dangerous location) and he just helped and would take anything in return. I wouldn’t have made it without him.
